Distinctive Door Die Focused Card with Jarle

Hi friends! It's Jarle here and I am happy to be back with another project for Sunny Studio Stamps. This time, I'm using the Distinctive Door die set, together with its Holiday Add-On.

I started by trimming a piece of grey cardstock to 3.75 by 5 (color Anchor by Spellbinders). I embossed this panel with the Dapper Diamonds embossing folder, just to give it a little bit more interest. After that I die cut all the different pieces I needed from the Distinctive Door die set and the Holiday Add-On. 

I used these cardstocks: 
- For the greens: Peridot (Spellbinders)
- For the reds: Poppy (Spellbinders)
- For the yellow: Sticky Note (Lawn Fawn)
- For the greys: Fog (Spellbinders)
- For the blacks: Raven (Spellbinders)
- For the glitter snow: Pixie Dust (Lawn Fawn) 

On the greens, I did add some inking with Concord&9th Clover ink, but this really isn't necessary. I don't think you really see it much in the end result. 

I glued down everything onto the gray embossed panel. I colored the different light bulbs in a few random Copic colors. On the garland, I adhered a few Ruby Red Jewels. 

After that, I glued down the panel with the door on an A2 sized paper from the All Is Bright 6x6 paper pad. This paper pad is so beautiful. The paper that I used on this card is my absolute favorite one! What I love about the Sunny Studio paper pads is that they are double sided, which is great for interactive cards. 

I did want to add al little extra something, so I took out the Merry Mice stamp set and colored a few images with Copic markers. 

- Mouse: E44/E43/E42/E41/E40
- Santa Hat: R29/R27/R24
- Cheese trees: Y35/Y15/Y13 (+ random colors for the holes aka the lights)

I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and popped them on the card with some foam squares. I added a sentiment from that same Merry Mice set and white embossed it onto a strip of black cardstock. Finally, I adhered the whole card panel on a white card base. I added a bit of details with glossy accents on all the light bulbs and that finished off my card. 

I think it turned out super cute and I love the colors. Very 'Christmassy' :-) Have a wonderful day!
