Feliz Navidad Card with Isha

Hello everyone! Isha is back with you today sharing a card featuring the Feliz Navidad stamp and dies. I love the font so much and that the die gives some added interest.

I started by adhering the red snowflake pattern from the Joyful Holiday paper pack. Next, die-cut the semi circle from the Stitched Semi Circle dies. sponge peacock feathers distress ink to it. flick white paint.

Next I stamped the images, color using copic markers and die-cut:

Background - Scenic Route stamp and dies
Reindeers - Reindeer Games stamp and dies
Sentiment - Feliz Navidad stamp and dies

Stamp the scenic routes stamp, die-cut. Next die-cut this piece using the semi-circle die. Assemble all the images to the card. I die-cut the sentiment using black card too and adhered it behind the stamped layer, slight offset. To finish, I added some nuvo glitter for the snow banks.

Feliz Navidad Card with Tammy

Hello friends! Tammy here with a holiday card featuring the Feliz Navidad Mini Stamp. I decided to create a classic Christmas card with die cut poinsettias and a candy cane stripe border with a beautiful gold embossed sentiment.

To begin, I cut the red striped paper from the Joyful Holiday Paper Pack to a 5 1/2" square and attached it to a white card stock card base. I then cut bristol smooth cardstock to a 5 1/4" square and ink blended it with Festive Berries and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inks. I splattered the background with some Festive Berries ink, thinned with water, then some white and gold acrylic paints to create some interest.

Next, I die cut poinsettias and leaves using the Pristine Poinsettia Dies and Winter Greenery Dies. I assembled the poinsettias and greenery, then splattered them with white acrylic paint for a snowy effect. I added some Metallic Gold Drops to the center of the poinsettias, then attached them to my card.

Lastly, I stamped the Feliz Navidad Stamp onto white cardstock with embossing ink, then embossed it with gold embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment with the Feliz Navidad Die and attached it to my card with foam tape to complete my card.

Feliz Navidad Cards with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here with you today, I'm thrilled to be back on the blog with this new trio of mini holiday cards showcasing a mix and match of images from different sets (listed down below), as well as the Feliz Navidad stamp set.

As you can see I went for a non-traditional color palette, and was actually inspired by Critter Country pattern papers to build and color my three Christmas cards. And speaking of which, I started off by cutting all my papers:

- three stripe panels using the second rectangle die from Stitched Rectangles

- three polka dot panels using a die from Mini Mat & Tag 4

- three gingham green panels using the same die from Mini Mat & Tag 4 again, and from each of those panels, I cut three wavy borders using a die from my stash

- three vellum panels using the smallest rectangle die from Stitched Rectangles

I white heat embossed a greeting on each gingham green wavy border: the words "Hoping your... is" and "on point" from Looking Sharp, and the word "holiday" from Santa Claus Lane, in order to read "Hoping your holiday is on point".

I followed the same order to layer my panels and used liquid glue to attach them on top of each other: a stripe panel on a card base, next a polka dot panel on top, then a vellum panel (I put the glue only at the bottom of it), and finally a gingham green wavy border. I set my card bases aside, and moved on to the stamping.

I stamped all my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, cut them all using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my Graph'it brush markers and Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers. And as I was saying, I followed the same color palette as the pattern papers to color my images. Here is a detailed list of the sets I used:

- Lovable Llama: llamas, presents
- Looking Sharp: cactus
- Scene Route: lights
- Reindeer Games: hats
- North Pole: nice list
- Penguin Pals: candy canes
- Garden Critters: grass
- Merry Mice: scarves

Once everything was colored, I attached the images on my panels: the lights and cactus using liquid glue, and the others using 1mm foam squares. Next I white heat embossed three Feliz Navidad greetings on black cardstock, used the matching die to cut all three, and then attached them on my cards using 1mm foam squares again. And as always I finished my cards by adding highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.

Feliz Navidad Card with Bobbi

Hello friends. It’s Bobbi here, sharing a card featuring the new Feliz Navidad stamps and coordinating dies. This sentiment is bold and a generous size. It can be combined with other Christmas sets to make your holiday cards.

I’m using the following Sunny Studio Stamps products:

To create this 5″ X 7″ card, I used festive paper from the Joyful Holiday paper pad and the largest arch die to create the background. I also stamped the sentiment in a bright red and cut it using the dies. I stacked four of the die cuts to make the sentiment stand out. I stamped the two deer, colored them using Copic Sketch Markers and cut them out using the dies. I used the following Copics:

• Browns: E57, E55, E44, E43 and E42
• Reds: R00, R22
• Greens: YG67, YG17, YG03

I cut the foliage stems using the Winter Greenery Dies along with white and green cardstock. I also cut the Pristine Poinsettia – three layered sets of white cuts – and glued the layers together to make the large white poinsettia. I applied Copic C1 to the top layer of the petals. I also glued in some Ruby Red Jewels in the center of the poinsettia for a little sparkle.

I assembled the card and used foam dots behind the deer to make them stand out. The poinsettia was glued in place in the center of the arch window. Greenery, the sentiment, deer and foliage were all added to the card front. I felt like the card needed a little more contrast so I also added 1/8″ strips of a dark brown cardstock above and below the checkered, gray paper.  More Ruby Read jewels were added to this card front to complete it.

Feliz Navidad Card with Gladys

Hello crafty friends, Gladys here! I'm excited to be back on the blog to share a Christmas card featuring the beautiful stamp sentiment called Feliz Navidad.

First, I stamped the adorable bear and present image from the Holiday Hugs stamp set with alcohol friendly ink. Then I colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my background, I used an A2 rectangle die to cut the red pattern paper from All Is Bright 6x6 paper pad. I knew I wanted to put a frame around my image so I used the Fancy Frames Rectangle dies to cut from white cardstock. I adhered the frames on the pattern paper with double sided foam tape to add dimension.

Next I popped up the bear with foam tape and mounted it on the bottom center of the background panel. I stamped the Feliz Navidad sentiment and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I love a bold sentiment with matching dies! I used the sentiment die to cut twice from white cardstock and stacked them together. I used this technique often to add dimension if I don't want to use foam tape for intricate images. To complete my card I added diamond stickles on the present for some sparkle.

Feliz Navidad Card with Tina

Hello crafty friends, Tina here and today I am featuring the festive Feliz Navidad stamp and die set. I combined this sentiment with the adorable Lovable Llama set to create a sweet Christmas card!

My white striped background was created with both of the dies from the Frilly Frames Stripes set.  I wanted to keep the color palette light and pastel by adding a soft pink panel and a glittery snowbank. As an extra design element, I included a smaller white border (Mini Mat & Tag 1 and an infinity rectangle die).

Next, I stamped and die cut the sweet llama with the bow and presents (Lovable Llama set). All the coloring was done with Copic markers. Since this is a Christmas card, I also added a cute Santa hat from Reindeer Games. The Feliz Navidad sentiment was stamped with a red ink from my stash. This color really makes the words stand out!

I adhered the striped panel to a white card base and added the images and sentiment with foam tape. Next, I created a bunch of snowflakes (Snowflake Circle Frame die), I love that the die cuts multiple sizes at the same time. I layered two of each snowflake for extra dimension and scattered them around the small frame. Lastly, I added a teal gem to the center of each flake (Pastel Jewel Mix).
