Bighearted Bears Love-Themed Card with Tina

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here with the last card of the year 2025!  I am featuring a love themed scene with two cuties from the Bighearted Bears stamp and die set.

The Bursting Hearts background die is a perfect match for this project. I combined this white die cut piece with a purple heart paper from Flirty Flowers. After creating a white card base, I layered both directly onto the base.

For my scene I cut a white panel with the largest of the Stiched Arch dies. This panel will become my background by inking a sky with a cloud stencil from my stash and Distress Oxide Dusty Concord. The bottom part of this arch piece was turned into a side walk by stamping one of the Sprawling Surfaces. Such a versatile set to have in your stash!

Next, I selected two adorable pandas, a letter and a chocolate box from the Bighearted Bears stamp. All the images were colored with my Copics and I added white gel pen highlights.

Before assembling the card, I needed to add a sentiment. I browsed through my stash and decided that the Lovey Dovey stamp was perfect for this project. I stamped the sentiment directly to the panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink. To put the card together, I glued the arched panel to the background and mounted the images with foam tape. As a final embellishment, I added three cute Heart Shaped Pearls to my scene.

Pink Peonies & Frilly Frames Floral Cards with Mendi

Hello and welcome! This is Mendi here today, popping in to share some floral-themed cards for Summer using our fabulous Pink Peonies Stamps.

For my first card using the Pink Peonies Stamps, I stamped them using VersaFine Onyx Black ink onto watercolor paper, which I then heat-embossed with clear embossing powder to prevent them from smearing.  I then colored my flowers and leaves using Caran D'Ache watercolor pencils and blended them with water and a paintbrush, working from the lightest to darkest spots. When it comes to watercolors, I'm always a mess about staying in the lines so to keep things looking clean, I chose to fussy cut the images. 

My aqua tone-on-tone background was created using our Frilly Frames Quatrefoil Dies, which I layered from behind with the same color to create the look of embossing and to keep things less busy for my greeting. I love the subtle texture it adds! For my greeting, I used the word die from our Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies with the white heat-embossed word "birthday" from our Plane Awesome Stamps (although we have this word in so many different sets of ours). Finally, I embellished my card with some scattered Crystalline Sky Blue jewels to add a little glitter and shine to my card.

For my second card using the Pink Peonies Stamps, I knew I wanted to color these peonies using a no-line coloring technique with my Copic Markers. Still, it's not the quickest coloring method available, so I limited my card to just three flower blossoms. I used a small mini pack of Memento Dew Drop inks in Angel Pink & New Sprout to have my stamp outlines disappear with my coloring. For my background, I layered our Frilly Frames Chevron Dies cut from black cardstock over a smaller piece of white cardstock to back the openings and an A2-size panel of coordinating pink cardstock. Last, for my sentiment, I stamped "You're My Favorite" from the Lovey Dovey Stamps using Hero Arts Ultra Pink Ink.

Everything's Rosy & Potted Rose Floral Cards with Mendi

Hello and welcome! This is Mendi here today, popping in to share some floral rose-themed cards using our Everything's Rosy Stamps and Potted Rose Stamps.

For my first card, I paired the layered stamp images from our Everything's Rosy Stamps with the smaller blossom and leaf from the Potted Rose Stamps to adorn the bottom-left and top-right corners. For my card background, I turned to our Blooming Frame Dies. I used the die without a shim, which helped keep the pieces in place. I also quickly adhered them all to a piece of printer paper with liquid adhesive to help keep the pieces intact. After I had done this, I inked up my background using the same dye inks I had used to ink my leaves, fading it towards the center. Finally, I die-cut the "Happy Birthday" phrase from white cardstock using the same die set to place in the center.

For my next card, I used the same small blossom and leaf from the Potted Rose Stamps to completely cover a 1.5" strip of green cardstock. The green base meant that even if small sections peeked through, it would blend in with the leaves and contrast nicely with the white cardstock from my overlapping card panels. I then die-cut a stitched edge to frame each side of my strip (to give the appearance that it's cut away to reveal the bottom floral layer) using our Ribbon & Lace Border Dies. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment "You Are So Lovely" from our Lovey Dovey Stamps using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink, which I also heat embossed with clear embossing powder to give it a bit of shine and make it stand out crisply. I really love how this clean and simple design turned out!

I am frequently asked which ink colors I used for my layered images. Some of these images were previously stamped using now-retired Colorbox inks; however, I spent considerable time trying to find the closest matches to share them here with you (from lightest to darkest).

Let's Chill Card with Leanne: Black Friday Exclusive!

Hi everyone! Leanne here and I'm sharing a fun shaker card today. My card features some adorable images from the Black Friday exclusive stamp set, Let's Chill. I pulled out some older stamp and die sets along with the Let's Chill set to create this little winter scene and shaker window. All are listed below with a description of how they were used. 

Let's Chill Stamp Set & coordinating dies - For the seal and heart images plus "let's chill" sentiment

Lovey Dovey Stamp Set & coordinating dies - For the "you're my favorite" sentiment

Stitched Arch Die - I used the largest die in the set to create the shaker window. 

Joyful Holiday Paper Pack - The colorful polka dot pattern paper made a fun frame for my scene. 

I created the shaker part in the tradition way by adhering a piece of clear acetate behind the frame for the window and building a shaker well with thick foam tape strips. I filled the shaker with some iridescent heart confetti and snowflake sequins. 

Copics: R00, R30, RV11, RV13, T0, T2, C0, C1, C3, C5

I Copic colored the stamped images (colors used listed above). I created a little snow bank for the seals sit on with the same Stitched Arch Die used for the shaker window. I stamped "let's chill" onto the snow bank. I added the seals, hearts, and "you're my favorite" with thin foam squares so they would be popped up a bit. Lastly I adhered my completed shaker scene to an A2 size card base.
