Critter Country Paper Focused Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here with you today, sharing a Fall-themed card using a mix of papers from the Critter Country Paper pack! This paper pack comes with so many cute papers, perfect for all sorts of Fall cards!

For my A2-size card, I started off by trimming the burgundy plaid patterned paper from the Critter Country Paper pack to 4,25 x 5,50 inches and adhered it to the card base. I then die cut out the beautiful fall scene paper using the second largest of the Rounded Rectangle Mat Dies and adhered that to the burgundy paper.

Next, I stamped the squirrels, cart, pumpkins, and leaves from the Pathway Home Stamp set on alcohol ink-friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers; see list below.

Copic colors used:
Squirrels: E08/09/97, YR21, N5, C0/1/2, R30
Pumpkins: YR04/07, Y17, YG03/17
Leaves: YR04/07, Y17, YG03/17
Cart: E21/23/25, N1/4/5

I then die-cut the images out using the coordinating Pathway Home Dies. I added foam dots to the back of all die-cut pieces for dimension and set them aside to create the frame and small scene!

I die-cut the third-largest Icing Rectangle Frame Die from the orange polka-dot paper in the paper pack to use the frame piece only. I also die-cut two pieces from white cardstock to use as the inside pieces. I ink-blended one of them with blue ink and the other with green ink for sky and grass. For the green piece, I used the grass border die from the Slimline Nature Borders Die set to create a little piece of grass, which I adhered to the bottom of the sky piece!

I adhered the little frame/scene piece to the card and stamped the “Thinking of you” words from the Build-A-Greeting Holidays Stamps set at the bottom of the panel using black ink. Lastly, I added the squirrels, pumpkins, cart, and leaves!

Fall Friends Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing this autumn card. 

I started this card by die-cutting the Icing Rectangle Frame twice: once from a gold glitter cardstock, using the frame, and once from white cardstock, using the inside panel as the base for my stamped background.

I stamped the Fall Scenes stamp onto the white panel and masked off the areas I wanted to keep separate. From scrap paper, I die-cut the clouds and grass from the Slimline Nature Borders die set and used them as stencils to ink-blend the clouds and grass onto the background, creating a landscape.

To complete the fall scene, I stamped the cart, rake, and leaves together with the little fox from the Fall Friends stamp set. I also stamped an extra fox from the Foxy Friends stamp set. I coloured all the images with my Ohuhu Markers and added a few little highlights with a white gel pen to make everything pop.

For the card base, I used brown cardstock. To add a little more depth I stamped a checked pattern onto the cardstock using dark brown ink and the Background Basis stamp set. I absolutely love this stamp set because it makes it so easy to create your own patterned paper!

Finally, I layered all the elements onto the brown card base, and my cozy autumn scene was complete.

Holiday Tags & Labels Card with Yan

Hey crafty friends! It's Yan here, and I'm so excited to share a cozy holiday card that got me right into the festive spirit! Today, I’m playing with the adorable Holiday Tags & Labels Stamps from Sunny Studio Stamps' brand-new release. This project came together so smoothly, and mixing it with a few sweet hedgehogs made it absolute fun to create. Grab a warm cup of coffee, and let's dive into how I made it!

​To kick things off, I stamped the tag frame from the Holiday Tags & Labels Stamps using a couple of bright red inks to give them a festive pop. Then, I directly stamped those darling hedgehogs from the Quill Cuties Stamps right inside the frames using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Coloring these little critters with Copic markers is always my favorite part—I added warm browns and sweet pinks to give them lots of personality! Once I finished coloring, I lined up the coordinating Holiday Tags & Labels Dies and cut them out.

Next, I die-cut a few additional ornament bases out of bold red cardstock and delicate vellum paper using the Holiday Tags & Labels Dies. For the background, I wanted to keep things clean and soft, so I used the Icing Rectangle Frame Dies to cut a crisp panel from the Subtle Grey Tones 6x6 Paper.

​For the sentiment, I heat-embossed the greeting from the Holiday Greetings Stamps in crisp white embossing powder onto a strip of vellum paper and die-cut it with the matching die. Finally, I assembled all the cute layers, Christmas ornaments, and sentiment using foam tape to give the whole layout plenty of fun dimension and depth!

Doggone Birthday Card with Yan

Hey crafty friends! It's Yan here, and today I’m sharing a super cheerful birthday card packed with adorable pups, presents, and balloons. This one was so much fun to put together, and let me walk you through how I made it.

​To set up the scene, I stamped the adorable dog using the Doggone Birthday Stamps and filled the surrounding area with presents and balloons from the Party Pets Stamps onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Coloring these cute little images with Copic markers is always my favorite part! Once finished, I lined up the matching dies for both sets to die-cut everything flawlessly.

​Next, I used the Rounded Rectangle Mat Dies to cut out a frame from a fresh piece of white cardstock. On the card base behind it, I gently blended Distress Oxide Ink in Salvaged Patina to create a soft, bright sky for my scene. I also die-cut two fluffy clouds using the Tropical Trees Background Die to pop into the background.

​For the greeting, I cut a sweet stitched label frame using the Icing Rectangle Frame Dies and stamped the sentiment directly in the center. ​To bring everything together, I assembled all the colored images, frame, and sentiment onto the card using foam tape. Adding that extra layer of dimension really brings the party scene to life!

​And that’s it! A fun, dimensional birthday card that’s sure to bring a big smile to any dog lover’s special day. Happy crafting, everyone!

Sunflower Fields Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here! Today I have an elegant card for you using the Sunflower Fields set! I usually go for bright pinks, orange, greens and turquoise on my cards, but today I chose a soft, muted pink to  mulled red color scheme!

For my card I used an A2 size card base. I started off by trimming a piece of grey polka dot patterned paper from the Subtle Grey Tones paper pack to 4,25 x 5,5 inches and adhered it to my card base using double sided tape.

Next, I trimmed a piece of white card stock to 4,25 x 5,5 inches and ink blended the outer edges with pink ink and then die cut out the largest of the Icing Rectangle Frame Dies to create a frame and adhered it to the card base using liquid glue.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the Inside Greetings Friends Stamps set in the upper right corner. There are so many good sentiments to choose from with this stamp set!

I then stamped the sunflowers and leaves from the Sunflower Fields set, layer by layer, using light to dark inks. Next, I die cut the stamped images using the coordinating sunflower and leaves dies. As the stem stamp does not have a coordinating die I fussy cut them, super easy and quick! Next, I stamped one of the little bees and die cut it out using the coordinating die!

I assembled the sunflowers with the stems and leaves using liquid glue. Lastly, I added foam dots to the back of them and the little bee for dimension and arranged them to my taste and adhered them to the card.

Sunflower Fields Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing a card featuring the Sunflower Fields stamp set.

I started by die cutting a beige frame and a light brown background panel for inside the frame using the Icing Rectangle Frame dies. To give the background some extra texture, I added a beautiful effect with the Dotted Diamond Portrait plate. I blended brown ink along the bottom of the panel to create more depth. To finish the background, I added some gold and white paint splatters, which gave it a subtle sparkle and a little bit of magic.

Next, I created the sunflowers and leaves using the Sunflower Field stamp set. This stamp set is a layering stamp set, so the sunflowers are created by adding different stamped layers. With every layer, more details and depth appear, giving the flowers a beautiful and realistic look. 

I stamped the fairies from the Garden Fairy stamp set. I colored them in warm bee-inspired colors with my Ohuhu markers. I also added tiny watering cans from the Foxy Friends stamp set into their hands, which made them look like they were taking care of the flowers. To complete the scene, I added an adorable little bee from the Sweet as Can Bee stamp set.

After arranging and gluing all the elements onto the light brown background, I attached the whole panel onto a yellow layer and finally placed it on a white cardstock base.
