My Otter Half Card with Tina H

Hello crafters, it’s Tina and since it had been a while I decided to make a fun shaker card! The focal point of this project is an adorable couple from the My Otter Half stamp and die set.

For today’s card I made a white square card and added a teal layer cut from one of the Sweater Weather papers. Yes, this is a Fall themed paper pack but I feel the darker teal is a great match for my cute brown otters (also very snug and cozy, I made this card on a rainy day in Spring, hence the need to feel that way!).

After cutting the panel with the second largest of the Scalloped Square 1 Large dies, I created the shaker window with one of the Stitched Circle Small dies.

A piece of clear acetate slightly smaller than my teal piece was glued to the back with strong double sided tape. Next, I created the shaker well with thick strips of foam tape, I removed the protective backer first to add the tape as close as possible to the circle shape.

Now comes the fun part, which is filling the shaker with sequins in clear and teal colors. to close the shaker, I simply added a square piece of teal paper to back. I glued this whole piece to the card base with liquid glue.

My cute couple from the My Otter Half stamp was colored with Copic markers in shades of brown. The sentiment was taken from the Words Of Gratitude set and stamped on a scalloped white banner with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I placed this banner on the bottom edge of the shaker and added the cute couple so their tails overlap with the white sentiment strip. This connects the elements of this design in a fun way.  Of course this card needed a bit of bling so I sprinkled a few Aquamarine Jewels around the shaker frame.

Bear Hugs Card with Tina

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here and I hope you are enjoying a wonderful holiday season! Today, I created a sweet winter forest scene with two cuties from the Bear Hugs stamp and die set.

To start, I cut a panel of pink dotted paper (Polka-dot-Parade) with the beautiful Quilted Hearts Portrait die. Next, I used one of the Stitched Circles Small set to create the space for my focal point. I needed two more of these circles from white card stock. One was turned into a snowbank, the other will be my background. I used Distress Oxide Faded Jeans and a cloud stencil from my stash to ink blend a winter sky.

Then I put this panel aside to select two cute bears and some trees from the Bear Hugs stamp set. To go for that winter vibe, I went with cool blues, grey and pink Copic markers. As usual, I added white highlights with a gel pen.

With all the elements ready, I could start to assemble the card. I made a white card base and added the pink Quilted Hearts Portrait panel with liquid glue. Next, I inlayed the circle with the clouds and mounted the snowbank. Lastly, I adhered the two cute bears and the trees onto the background circle.

My sentiment was taken from the Words Of Gratitude set and stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink on a white banner (Brilliant Banner 4). As embellishment, I sprinkled a few Sky Blue Jewels in the sky.

Passionate Penguins Card with Tina

Hello crafters, it’s Tina with a card featuring one of the adorable images from the Passionate Penguins stamp and die set. I have used these stamps often and they are one of my favorites for lots of occasions!

After I made a white square card base, I cut a layer from purple paper (Flirty Flowers, Stitched Square dies) and glued it to the base.

For extra dimension I also created two white panels with one of the Scalloped Square 2 Small dies. On one of them I added extra texture with the Quilted Hearts Portrait die, I cut the scalloped edges from this piece and glued it on top of the second white panel. Now I have a scalloped edge panel with an embellished center. Love that look!

As my focal point I selected two cute penguins in their fancy car, adding balloons from Party Pets to set the scene. All the coloring was done with Copic makers, and I added white highlights with my gel pen.

This card is going to be for my husband and I really like this sentiment from the Words Of Gratitude set! I stamped the line on a small white banner with Versafine Onyx Black ink and backed it with a slightly larger banner shape.

I placed the sentiment on the bottom of the white panel and mounted the penguins and balloons with foam tape. I love how they are enjoying their ride in the car and the balloons make it extra fun! Lastly, I sprinkled a few Champagne Clear jewels onto the card.

Outback Critters Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here and I am super excited to create a fun birthday card featuring the Outback Critters stamp and die set! How sweet are these cuties! I love critters and these ones are just the best (that baby!)

The Blooming Frame die combined with a green paper from Flirty Flowers is the perfect background to set the scene for these animals. I glued this piece to a white card base to create a light and airy effect.

After selecting 5 cute images (Outback Critters stamp) I started coloring with my trusty Copics. I used extra vibrant colors for the parrots since the other images were merely in brown tones. To add even more contrast, I cut the large Wishes Word die three times from white card stock but added a red ombre with my markers.

Next, I stamped the ‘Warmest’ sentiment (Words Of Gratitude) onto the background panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I played around with placement of the animals until I was happy with the result. After adding a few Champagne clear Jewels this sweet project was ready!

Designer's Choice: Majestic Meadow Card with Nicky

Hello everyone this is Nicky with you today on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog and I have a fun and colourful thank you card to share with you today so please read on for all the details you need to know.

I took a white A2 panel of cardstock and ink blended using Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink. I applied this panel to my card base and then used the Majestic Meadow Background Stamp to stamp another white A2 panel of cardstock. I used the coordinating die to die cut the different elements.

I then stamped and die cut the images I was wanting using Foxy Friends and Foxy Friends Dies. Now it was time to colour everything, here are the Copic colours used:

Foxes - E37, E34, E33, E11, C3, C1, C00
Pink Flowers - RV10, RV02, RV55, RV06
Greens - YG67, YG17, YG01, G43, YG13, YG61, YG03, G40, G20
Chick & Watering Can - Y13, C3, C1

I highlighted the images and defined the eyes on the foxes and chick and then applied the images to the scene using foam tape, I started in the background with the trees and then the taller flowers in the foreground and then figured out a nice arrangement for the foxes. A few points were highlighted with a white gel pen.

Time for a few finishing touches. I dotted in some daisies into the grass in the foreground and then I stamped the bold greeting from Big Bold Greetings using Fuschia ink from The Stamp Market and the smaller part of the sentiment is from the useful Words of Gratitude stamp set. Both sentiment parts were backed with more foam tape and applied and then this whole decorative panel was applied to a larger white card base.

Window Trio Heart Die Focused Tropical Birds Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here and before we start, I want to wish you all a very happy 2025! I hope it will be a year filled with joy, happiness and crafting of course! Today, I am featuring a love themed card using the Window Trio Hearts Landscape die.

I went with a white mini slimline card base (I used a die from my stash) and layered it with a lovely pink heart paper from the Flirty Flowers paper pack. Before adhering this panel, I cut out the heart boxes with the Window Trio Hearts Landscape die. I used this die once more to create three hearts of white card stock. Then I glued the pink panel and white hearts in place.

I browsed through my stash and was excited to see how well the images from the Tropical Birds would match this design! I stamped two cuties, a heart, a key, extra leaves, and the large branch from this set, did my usual Copic coloring and added white details.

I glued the large branch across the lower part of the design and added some more leaves to the ends. Next, I mounted the cute birds and heart with foam tape. Lastly, I glued the little key in place.

I stamped the message from Words Of Gratitude onto a white banner in Versafine Onyx Black ink. Finally, I scattered a bunch of White Diamond jewels around the images.
