Spring Greenery Cards with Marine and Anja

Hello crafty friends, Marine here! Today's card is all about customization. I created my own leafy background using Spring Greenery, I used the branch from Outback Critters to make bamboo, and turned bears from Bear Hugs into pandas.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Spring Greenery Card by Marine Simon (featuring Spring Scenes, Bear Hugs, Stitched Oval Dies, Scalloped Oval Mat Dies)

So as always I started off by stamping all my images using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and I first worked on the bears from Bear Hugs. To turn them into pandas, I referred to a picture on my phone, and traced some lines using a pencil to divide their bodies into different sections and this way know which part is black: the eyes, ears, arms and legs. And to do this I'm just referring to a picture on my phone. I used my black memento pen, which is an alcohol marker friendly pen, to trace over the pencil lines and then I colored the images to create a baby panda and his mom.

And next I colored the other images: the branches from Outback Critters in green to create bamboo, the mountains from Spring Scenes, the grass, butterflies and small flowers from Bunnyville.

Next I created my leafy background. I cut a 5,5 x 4,25" bristol panel, and started by covering it with mowed lawn oxide ink. Next I applied some rustic wilderness oxide ink on the four edges, and then used my mowed lawn blending tool again to achieve a nice blending.

I die cut the Spring Greenery leaves several times out of bristol cardstock, and colored them using rustic wilderness oxide ink again. And next I randomly glued them on my green panel using liquid glue. I added texture and details to this leafy panel: splatters of rustic wilderness oxide ink + water, splatters of black soot oxide ink + water, and splatters of copic opaque white ink + water.

To set my cute panda scene, I cut some additional pieces: two Stitched Oval 2 elements out of a grass pattern paper from the Spring Fling paper pack and out of a blue pattern paper from the Spring Sunburst paper pack, and one Scalloped Oval Mat 1 element out of a yellow cardstock. I layered those pieces on top of each other to create a cute scenery, and then I popped the whole on my leafy background using foam squares.

I stuck all the images, and for my sentiment I cut a pink banner using a die from the Stitched Rectangle die set, I white heat embossed my customized sentiment "For my beary sweet mom" on it, and attached it right below the cute pandas. I attached my panel to a green card base, and as always I finished my card by adding highlights and details to the images and sky using a white gel pen.

And that's it, I love this cute baby panda and his mom, they are so cute! I hope that this card will inspire you to stretch out your supplies and use them in different ways. As always, you are more than welcome to check the process video for more information (click the image above). Thanks for stopping by, and see you next week!

Hello everyone, Anja here and today's Clean and Simple card features the versatile Spring Greenery Dies. I chose the veined leaves and die cut them from cardstock in rainbow colors.

I let the leaves float across the left side of the white A2 card base and added one of the scripty Lovey Dovey sentiments to the right. It was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Platinum embossing powder.

After cutting it out with the coordinating die, I adhered it with small slivers of foam tape. Finally, I embellished the card with matching glitter enamel dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an amazing day!

Paris Afternoon Cards by Gladys and Franci

Hello friends! Gladys here with this beautiful Paris scene combining lots of products from the latest release.  First let me provide all the stamp sets I used: Paris AfternoonCharming CityPassionate Penguins, and Bunnyville.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Paris Afternoon Card by Gladys Marcelino (featuring Passionate Penguins, Charming City, Bunnyville)

As you know, I love creating scenes on my card and I was so happy that this card turned out the way I picture it in my head. I knew I wanted to use the adorable penguins in a car and I imagined them cruising down a road in Paris on a beautiful afternoon.

To begin I started with an A2 size panel and masked along the stitched lines to give a nice white border once the ink blending is done. I masked off about a ¼” of the panel for the sky.  I admit I used way more inks than I intended for such a small area but I love the soft pastel palette. The distress oxide inks I used were blueprint sketch, salvaged patina, saltwater taffy and scattered straw. For the grass, I used a combination of mowed lawn and shabby shutters.

Next I stamped and colored the images with alcohol markers. Then used the matching dies to cut them out. I used My Favorite Things open road die to cut from gray cardstock and glued white cardstock to fill the open spaces. I arranged all the images and adhered them with liquid glue or foam tape for dimension. To complete the card I white heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock.

Thanks for joining me. I hope you enjoyed this sweet little Parisian scene. Have a wonderful day!

Hi there! It's Franci here with you today and I'm so happy to finally share my project featuring the Paris Afternoon set. Aww look at these cuties! I love them so much!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Paris Afternoon Card by Franci Vignoli (featuring Stitched Heart Dies)

First of all I created my card base out of white cardstock, cut out a matching panel and die cut it with the Stitched Hearts 2 Dies. I added an ink blended piece of cardstock behind the heart window and I glued everything down to the front of my card.

I stamped the images, colored them with copics and die cut them with their coordinated diesI glued them down with foam adhesive and I added all the little hearts I die cut out of red cardstock with a die included in the Stitched Hearts 2 dies set. Finally I stamped my sentiment in pink and added some clear sequins.

I love this card so so much and I hope you like it too! Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

Little Birdie Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks, Kavya here with you. I am back on the blog with another fun project! As mentioned in one of my previous posts, I am trying to use my stash of ever growing craft supplies. I found some chunky glitter while cleaning up so I decided to make a fun infinite shaker card using it! I love how easy and gorgeous it turned out :)

Sunny Studio Stamps: Little Birdie Card by Kavya (featuring Garden Fairy, Bunnyville, Home Sweet Gnome, Lovey Dovey)

I first started off by creating my background using Faded Jeans, Dusty Concord and Peacock Feathers distress oxide inks. Then, I created my infinite shaker card using some thin plastic I had lying around. Then, I placed a sheet of green cardstock on top for the grass.

I stamped and colored a bunch of images from Little BirdieGarden Fairies, Bunnyville and Home Sweet Gnome. I then finished it off with a sentiment from Lovey Dovey.

That’s it! I hope you liked this fun project :) Happy Crafting!

Hello everyone, Isha again with a sweet birthday card featuring the Little Birdies Stamp and dies. I really love the expressions of these cute birdies :)

Sunny Studio Stamps: Little Birdie Card by Isha Gupta (featuring Picket Fence Dies, Fluffy Cloud Dies)

I took a watercolor paper and created the sky area using distress ink salty ocean as watercolor. Die-cut the fence and the grass using the Picket Fence Border dies from white card. Sponge mowed lawn distress oxide ink to the grass. Adhere these to the bottom of this panel using 3d foam.

Die-cut the clouds using the Fluffy Clouds dies. Stamp the sentiment to the bigger one and adhere. Now, I stamped various images, colored them using copic markers, and die-cut using coordinating dies.

Out on a Limb Card with Mayra

Hello and happy Monday everyone. Mayra here to share a card with you today showcasing the Out On A Limb die set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Out on A Limb Card by Mayra Duran-Hernandez (featuring Stitched Rectangles, Frilly Frame Dies, Picket Fence Border Dies, Bunnyville)

I began by die-cutting the base layer of the card using the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace die set, the grass from the Picket Fence Border die set, to create the frame I used the two smaller rectangles from the Stitched Rectangles die set. I then added color to the smallest of the die-cut rectangles using Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks. For the grass area, I used Clover and Noble Fir ink from Lawn Fawn.

I then colored the images from the Bunnyville stamp set and the butterflies from the Garden Fairy stamp set using Copic markers. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the A Good Egg stamp set onto the die-cut banner from the Stitched Rectangles die set.

I hope you enjoy the card I created to share with you today. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I hope you each have a wonderful and blessed day.
