Tulip Path Background Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a project that I made using the Tulip Path Background stamp.

For my card I cut a top fold white base card. Cut a dark grey rectangle slightly smaller and stamped the Tulip Path Background stamp onto it using the same color of ink. Die cut the top using the matching Tulip Path Background dies.

Added the background on to the white cardbase and stamped the sentiment out of the Inside Greetings Friends Stamp in two different colors. Because I decided yellow was my "pop" color I stamped the "Brighter" in a yellow color instead of all black. Colored up the tulips using two different colors of pencil.

Used Copic Colors:
Yellow - Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11
White - C5, C3, C1, C00, 0
Orange - YR09, YR16, YR12
Hair - E57, E55, E53
Skin - E000, E00, E04, E11, E21 / R20
Black - N8, N6, N4

Stamped the images out of Puddle Jumper and Foxy Friends. Colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them by hand before adding them on to the card.

Afternoon Tea Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today and I am so excited to share a sweet birthday card showcasing the new Afternoon Tea set from the latest Summer Release! This beautiful set comes with a gorgeous “Happy Mother’s Day” stamp and coordinating die but the set can be used for so many different occasions. Today I have paired the Afternoon Tea set with some adorable bunnies from the Bunnyville and Tulip Path Background sets to create a birthday card. So let's get started.

I stamped the images from the Afternoon Tea Stamps and some bunny images from the Bunnyville Stamps and Tulip Path Background Stamps sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the coordinating Afternoon Tea Dies, Bunnyville Dies and the Tulip Path Background Dies to diecut them out. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Bunnies: E50/51/53/33, R000/20
Teapot: RV000/10/21/13, B0000
Purple cup: V000/01/12/04
Blue cup: B0000/000/00 BG02
Yellow cup: Y000/11 YR31 Y15
Pink saucer: RV10/21
Spoon: C0/1/3

For the background, I used the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace Dies to diecut a panel out of a white cardstock. I stamped the “Have a” and “birthday” sentiments from the Silly Sloths Stamps set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the “tea-rrific” sentiment from the Afternoon Tea Stamps set with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink directly onto the panel. A piece of craft foam was adhered to the back of the panel before it was adhered to a piece of pink cardstock.

In order to create a more realistic look, I used a sharp craft knife to cut a slit into the teacup images so that I was able to slip the bunnies and stacked cup inside. I adhered the colored images to the panel with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5”). The card was finished with a few Majestic Clear Confetti.

Inside Greetings Friends Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today and I have a sweet friendship card to share with you featuring these adorable Bunnyville bunnies and a sentiment from the new Inside Greetings Friends set. So let’s get started.

I stamped the images from the Bunnyville Stamp and one of the bunnies from the Tulip Path Background Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the coordinating Bunnyville Dies and the Tulip Path Background Dies to diecut them out. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

Gray Bunnies: C00/0/1, R000/00/20
Carrots: Y35/17/38 YR04/07, YG01/03/25/17, E53/33/35, B0000
Flowers: RV10/21/13/14, Y11/13/15/19, YG01/03/25
Grass: YG01/03/25
Butterflies: V000/01/04

For the background, I used the Frilly Frames Hexagon Dies to diecut a panel out of a white cardstock. I masked off the scalloped edges. I used the Slimline Nature Borders Dies to diecut a piece of clear acetate to make my own cloud stencil. I used my homemade cloud stencil, Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks to ink blend a subtle background onto the white panel. I added some dots in the grass with a Copic marker (YG03). 

For the sentiment, I stamped the sentiment from the Inside Greetings Friends Stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink directly onto the panel. A piece of craft foam was adhered to the back of the panel before it was adhered to a piece of lavender cardstock.

I adhered the colored images to the front of the card with a combination of liquid glue. The card front was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5").
