Tree Branch Die Focused Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here and what better way to create a ‘love themed’ card than to add two adorable birds (Love Birds) to a branch (Tree Branch die) and add a bunch of beautiful flowers! I absolutely love this branch die because it has a lovely shape and is long enough to stretch across your card design. I discovered that it is a perfect fit for the Wonky Windows Dies. You get so much more use out of your stash when you mix and match old and new products!

The branch die inspired me to choose for a mini slimline card today. I created a simple white card base and used a die from my stash to cut the beautiful blue heart paper from Flirty Flowers. Next, I cut out the trio of Wonky Windows twice, once from the blue paper and once from a white sheet of card stock that I had embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.

After gluing the heart design paper to my card base, I popped in the three wood grain windows which fitted like puzzle pieces. I stamped two adorable birdies from the Love Birds set and colored them with my Copics in bright blues and corals. This is such a fun color combo for Spring.

The big branch (Tree Branch die) was also cut from the wood grain paper to give that realistic texture. I needed lots of leaves from the same die set and also a bunch of flowers from the Spring Garden dies. All of them were colored with the same alcohol markers as the birds.

The sentiment was selected from the Love Birds set and stamped onto a small white strip with a red ink from my stash. The branch was glued across the trio of wonky windows as a base for the whole design. I mounted the birds and some flowers with foam tape. After adhering the sentiment strip I sprinkled a few coral hearts from the Red Heart Mix Drops.

Thank you for visiting the blog and happy crafting!

Crepe Paper Streamers Card with Marine

Hi crafty friends, Marine here! I'm back today with a very colorful mini slimline birthday shaker card showcasing the Crepe Paper Streamers, as well as three lovely kitties from Birthday Cat.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Crepe Paper Streamer Die Focused Birthday Card by Marine Simon (featuring Notebook Dies, Birthday Cat, Wonky Window Dies)

I started off by creating my shaker panel using the same process as the Season's Tweeting card I made a while ago. I first cut a 6 x 3 inches Spring Sunburst rainbow polka dot panel, and cut three Wonky Windows out of it. Still at the back of my polka dot panel, I attached a piece of acetate, added foam strips along the four edges and around each window, and poured some Birthday Cake Dot Sprinkles and iridescent confetti inside each window. I cut a 6 x 3 inches white card base, and attached another Spring Sunburst pattern paper on top of it, and then attached my card base at the back of my Wonky Window panel to close the shaker windows.

Next I stamped my images from Birthday Cat on Transotype perfect coloring paper using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I used the coordinating dies to cut them, and then colored my three cupcakes using Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and Graph'it brush markers. To match the card base, I went for rainbow shades to color the cupcake cases, and next I attached a cupcake on each window using 1mm foam squares.

For my sentiment, I cut a black banner using a die from the Notebook Photo Corners die set, I white heat embossed my "Meow is the time to celebrate" greeting from Birthday Cat on top, and then attached the banner below the windows using 1mm foam squares.

Next I created some colorful Crepe Paper Streamers. I cut several streamers out of white cardstock using the long dies from the set, and used the small dies to cut many colorful pieces. Attached those tiny pieces on the white steamers in a rainbow order to match the card base, and then stuck the streamers above the windows using 1mm foam squares.

And that's it! Super cute and very festive with those cheeky kitties and bright colors. Hope you like it! Thank you so much for stopping by, and see you next time!

Garden Critter Cards with Cathy and Bobbi

Hey friends! Cathy here today buzzin’ on in with these cute dragonflies from the Garden Critters Stamps! I just love how happy they look!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Garden Critter Spring Card by Cathy Chapdelaine (featuring Slimline Dies, Spring Bouquet)

I started this card with the sky background by die-cutting a piece of white cardstock using the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies. I cut the panel to 5 1/2” long and inked clouds with a stencil using Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I heat embossed the sentiment approximately  2 1/4" from the top edge and then matted the panel on black cardstock.

Next, I cut 2 strips of patterned paper from the Spring Fever Paper 1” x 5 1/2" and adhered them to each side of an A2 card base. I then adhered the cloud panel to the center of the card.

My dragonflies needed a few flowers to buzz around, so I stamped Iris from the Spring Bouquet Stamps and die-cut them using the coordinating dies. I adhered them to the card front and trimmed the excess leaves and stems along the edges.

To finish, I stamped the dragonflies on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock, colored them with Copics and die-cut them using the coordinating dies. I added sparkle to their wings with a shimmer brush and adhered them using foam tape to pop them up from the background.

I hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by today! For more inspiration, please visit my blog www.inkredibleadventures.com and you can also find me on Instagram as @cathy.chapdelaine.

Hello Sunny friends. It’s Bobbi here with a new set for spring called Garden Critters by Sunny Studio Stamps. This set is filled with cute little creatures buzzing, flying, crawling, and/or growing in the garden! I used this stamp set and coordinating dies along with the new Spring Fever pattern paper in this spring release and the Wonky Windows dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Garden Critter Spring Card by Bobbi Lemanski (featuring Wonky Window Dies)

After cutting the Wonky Windows openings from the front panel, I added a pretty blue, cloudy sky patterned paper behind the windows and a strip of greenery to the bottom base of the panel. Now comes the fun part …. I added flowers, critters, greens and a bright sun to the scene. The tulips were colored in reds, oranges and yellows and the planter boxes in blue.

Here’s a list of the Copic colors I used:
Greens: YG03, YG25, YG67
Reds: R29, R24, R14, R22
Yellows and oranges: YR09, YR68, Y38, Y15, Y08, Y06
Blue: B000, B00, B02, B04
Violet: V04
Cool Grays: C7, C5, C3, C1
Black: 100
White Gelly Roll Pen for highlights

A watering can full of posies and a sweet little lady bug sit in the green grass at the bottom. Bees, a butterfly, and a dragonfly accent each window. I used cushion strips to make the front panel sit off the background layer for some depth and dimension. This set has several sentiments to choose from. I used “Hap-Bee Birthday” on this card, positioning the words by the bees in the scene. This card fits neatly in an A2-sized envelope.

Hello my dears. It's Alma here and today I want to show you a card with the super sweet Penguin Party Stamps I chose a rectangle format for the card and I die-cut three windows with the Wonky Windows Dies.

Then I stamped the three penguins with the gifts from the Penguin Party Stamps and die-cut them with the Penguin Party Dies. After that I coloured them with Copics. Then I glued the cardstock with the windows on the red striped paper from the Joyful Holiday Paper . Then I added snowflakes with the white gel pen. Then I die-cutted green leaves with the Winter Greenery Dies and glued them together with the penguins on the cardstock.

Hi Crafty Friends! Marie here. Happy December! Christmas is finally in the air! I'm sure we are all busier now more than ever trying to create as many cards as possible before the Holiday deadline. I know I am! So for this  week's card inspiration,  I am sharing a super simple and festive box card featuring Sunny Studio's Penguin Party Stamps and the Holiday Greetings Stamps. This happy little box card is sure to bring smiles to your friends and loved ones  and will make such a cute display piece this Christmas!

Sunny Studio Stamps Penguin Party Pop-up Box Holiday Christmas Card with Marie Marco

To start off,  I die cut all the elements of my interactive box card using the Lawn Fawn scalloped box card- pop up die. For this, I used Bristol smooth cardstock paper for easy ink blending. Once I had all my box card panels, I cut off all the box flaps so that the only thing left is a box. I then took an arched dome shaped nesting die to create my background panel. I used bristol smooth cardstock for this also. I then ink blended the outside of my box, and all four snow drift panels using Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink followed by Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink. For the Domed Background panel, I used a cloud stencil to create some soft clouds using Speckled Egg Distress oxide Ink and Uncharted Mariner Distress ink for all the edges.  Before putting together the box, I used a watered down acrylic paint to splatter on some snow texture to the outside of the box, the snowdrift panels, and the background panel.

After putting together the box, using double sided adhesive tape and Bearly Art Craft Glue, I stamped out all my images from the Penguin Party Stamp and Christmas Tree from the Cozy Christmas Stamp onto watercolor paper using Distress Ink in Antique Linen. I then used the Penguin Party Dies and Cozy Christmas Dies to cut out all the images.

I stamped out the beautiful "Merry Christmas" sentiment from the Holiday Greetings Stamps using Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink. I cut out the sentiment using the corresponding Holiday Greetings Dies. To add a little bit of dimension to the Merry Christmas greeting, I die cut the greeting 2 more times and layered the pieces together so I could create height without using foam tape.  I  played around with my image placement but before adhering my images I  reinforced all of them using a thin strip of 110 lb cardstock which I glued to the back of each image and then adhered them to the snow drifts. Doing this ensures that they will be strong enough to stand on their own.  For my finishing touch, I added a few die cut stars to the background and made them sparkle with Ranger Stickles Glitter Glue.

And that does it for this week's Holiday Card Inspiration! Thank you so much for joining me today!! I wish you all a very Happy Card-crafting Week!!!
