Window Trio Heart Die Focused Squirrel Friends Card with Amanda

Hello friends! It’s Amanda here wishing you a VERY Happy New Year’s Eve! Is it too soon to make Valentine’s Day cards?! Well... I made one anyway using the new Window Trio Heart Portrait Dies! I’m excited to share it with you!

I made this mini slimline card using the Window Trio Heart Portrait Dies and the Squirrel Friends Stamps. To create this sweet little Valentine, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 3” x 6.75”. I also trimmed a gorgeous piece of blush pink cardstock to 2.75” x 6.5”. I ran this panel through my die cutting machine with the Window Trio Heart Portrait Dies. I also ran the die through with a darker pink cardstock, just so I could get the inner stitched hearts from that piece. 

I glued my blush pink cardstock panel to my white panel. Then, I adhered my darker pink hearts using 3D foam squares so they really popped!

Now onto those nutty little squirrels! I stamped the images from the Squirrel Friends Stamps and then colored them with Copic markers. Here are the markers I used:
Squirrels: E30, E31, E24, E25, E23, E25, E27, E29, W8, R02
Acorns: E11, E13, E15, E35, E37, E39

I cut out the images using the Squirrel Friends Dies. Next, I stamped my sentiments on a dark gray cardstock with a WOW! Embossing Pad. I applied WOW! Super Fine Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder to the glue. Then, I melted the powder using my heat gun.

I used scissors and a paper trimmer to cut out the sentiments. I used 3D foam squares behind all of the sentiments and images and then adhered them to the card. Finally, I used white paint to create dots all over the front of the card. After letting that dry, I glued my card front to a card base trimmed to 6” x 6.75”.

Squirrel Friends Card with Amanda

Well hello there, friends! It's Amanda sharing a super sweet Autumn card I made with you today! I love being able to craft and share my creations with you! Keep scrolling to see how I created this card, featuring the Squirrel Friends Stamps, that I'm just NUTS about!

To create this card, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 3.25" x 6.25". I ink blended Catherine Pooler Buttercream and Apricot inks on the lower portion of the panel. I stamped some little leaves from the Squirrel Friends Stamps along the top and middle portion of the panel using the same inks.  

Next, I stamped out my squirrels, nuts and leaves from the Squirrel Friends Stamps. I colored them with Copic markers and then die cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added little white gel pen dots on their eyes to make them look that much more adorable!

Then, I grabbed the Pumpkin Patch Dies. These dies are so versatile, I've used them SO many times!  For this card, I cut each piece of the pumpkins two times. This gives me 6 pumpkins total to play with! I used Copic markers to color each one, making them all unique! I glued each piece of the pumpkin together with liquid glue.  

For my sentiment, I grabbed the Autumn Garland Stamps. I stamped the "GREETINGS" directly onto my card panel in black ink. For the "Autumn" piece, I stamped it with embossing glue ink on black cardstock, applied white embossing powder, and then melted the powder with a heat tool. I die cut it out with the coordinating die and put 3D foam tape behind it.

The next step was to assemble the card! I adhered each component to the card front with either liquid glue (for the background pieces) or 3D foam squares for the foreground elements.

Autumn Garland Card with Alma

Hi, this is Alma, and I'm back on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog. Today I want to share a card with you using the amazing and dreamy new stamp set Autumn Garland Stamps.

First of alI  I stamped and colored the stamps, then I die-cut it with the Nutty for You Dies.

After that, I adhered the top of the acorn with foam tape to create a 3D effect. I blended the background with the "Distress Oxides" in the colors "prize ribbon" and "chipped sapphire" and added white water splatters. 

As a highlight, I colored the Squirrel Friends Stamps and placed them as the focal point on the card.

Truckloads of Love Card with Tina

Hello crafty friends, Tina here featuring the fun and versatile Truckloads of Love stamp and die set! I love that this set can be used for so many occasions throughout the whole year. For my card today, I am creating a sweet Fall scene with the adorable Squirrel Friends! They are busy loading their truck with lots of pumpkins.

Creating a full scene card can be intimidating for me and it helps if I build up my design using shape dies. For my background I cut a panel from white Neenah paper using the new Dotted Diamond cover die in landscape. It gives that extra subtle touch and doesn’t distract from the focal point! I used the outer die of the Frilly Frames Stripes to create the scalloped border.

Next, I cut the two largest of the Stitched Semi Circles dies from the same white card stock. I kept the largest one plain white and inked up the smaller one with Distress Oxides in Antique Linen, Scattered Straw and Saltwater Taffy. After splattering some water droplets for extra interest, I glued both semi circles directly to the white card panel. Then, I adhered this panel to a red card base.

I stamped and die cut all the cute squirrels, truck and pumpkins (Squirrel Friends, Truckloads of Love stamp) and colored them with my Copics. As always, I added some highlights with my white gel pen, it really makes a difference! To complete the scene, I cut and colored the tree and leaves from the Autumn Tree die. This tree is great to use in any of your Fall scene cards!

Finally, I arranged all my images and glued them in place, using foam tape were needed for dimension. The combined sentiment from the Truckloads of Love stamp was stamped onto a small white banner and added to the right upper corner. To embellish the card I sprinkled a few gems from the Chrystal Clear Jewels around the sentiment.
