Baked With Love Card with Tina H

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here and I confess, I love cookies! That is why I was excited to make a card with the sweet Baked With Love stamp and die set. Now this set offers plenty of options for the cutest designs. Since I also adore critters, I definitely wanted to bring in an image from the Foxy Friends set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Baked With Love Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Frilly Frame Dies, Stitched Arch Dies, Sydney Alphabet Dies, Foxy Friends)

After creating a white rectangle card base, I cut a panel from a pink paper (Polka-Dot Parade) with the outer die of the Frilly Frames Stripes die. I have used these outer dies many times and I highly recommend having these staples in your stash. Next, I glued the panel to the base with liquid glue. For my scene, I cut a white Stitched Arch and dry embossed the piece with the Quilted Hearts folder. I also glued a strip of pink card stock near the bottom so I could add my scene later on.

I stamped all the cookies from the Baked With Love stamp and the rolling pin. As mentioned before, I also selected a cute fox (Foxy Friends set). I enjoyed coloring all these images in fun colors with my Copics and added some white sprinkles with my gel pen.

The hardest part of this project was figuring out the design, I had one fox and a whole lot of cookies! First, I decided that the fox would be sitting on the rolling pin. Next, I played around with stacking the cookies until I was happy with the lay-out.

This card needed a fun sentiment so I spelled out the word ‘Baked’ with the letters of the Sydney Alphabet. I love how well they match with the arched shape. To create that chipboard effect, I cut each letter three times and stacked them with liquid glue.

For the sub sentiment I found the perfect one in the Baking Spirits Bright set. Yes, that is a Christmas set, but I encourage you to keep using these stamps all year round where possible! I stamped the sentence on a white banner with Versafine Onyx Black ink and added foam tape to mount it to the card. A few Aquamarine Jewels were placed in the corners for some extra glam.

I can’t wait to see all the yummy projects you will make with this sweet set!! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!

Penguin Pair Card with Tina H

Hello crafters, it’s Tina and today I have a sweet Valentine’s card for you! Stars of the show are the cuties from the Penguin Pair stamp and die set! Not only are they super adorable, they bring their own little sweaters and accessories. I love when sets give you these extra options for so many different looks.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Penguin Pair Valentine's Day Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Scalloped Square Dies, Scalloped Heart Dies, Dapper Diamond Embossing Folder)

I started with a white square card base and added a textured layer created with one of the Scalloped Square 1 Large dies and the Dapper Diamonds embossing folder. A quick and easy way to elevate any panel.

Since this card is love themed, it also needed a heart shape (Scalloped Heart dies). I just cut  the largest die but then decided that it would be fun to add extra dimension with the smaller heart from that set. For these pieces I selected pale blue heart and flower papers from the Flirty Flowers pad.

Now it was time to stamp and colour the cute penguins (Penguin Pair stamp) with my Copic markers in blue, pink and yellow tones. As always I added some white highlights. I gave the girl a headband and an adorable sweater for the boy.

After browsing through my stash I found the perfect sentiment (Foxy Friends) and stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink on a small white banner. I mounted the hearts, penguins and banner with some thin foam tape. For that extra bling, I sprinkled a few Pink Spinel Jewels.

I hope this card inspires you to create some sweet love cards with this cute penguin couple! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!

Baked With Love Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here, sharing my first card as a new member of the Design Team, I´m super excited to be here and I hope you´ll find some inspiration from my cards! Today I´m sharing a card using the new Baked With Love stamps!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Baked With Love Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Woodgrain Embossing Folder)

I started by stamping two of the baking plates, an assortment of different cookies, the oven glove and the piping bag on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them using my Copic Markers. I then die cut the images out using the coordinating Baked With Love dies.

Copic colors used:
Baking plates: RV10/11/91
Cookies: E21/23/25
Frosting: RV10/11
Oven glove/hearts: R14, YR04/07

Next I cut a 5,25 x 4 inches kraft panel, placed it inside the Woodgrain embossing folder, applied brown ink inside the folder on the opposite side of the panel, closed the embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine to create a nice tone on tone brown woodgrain texture.

I glued down my two pieces of baking plates to my panel and cut off the excess parts with a pair of scissors to fit my panel. I added some foam dots to the back of my cookies for a little dimension and adhered them to the baking plates. Trimming off the excess of the heart, bottom right I then stamped the tiny heart shaped sprinkles! With my panel finished I used double sided tape to adhere it to my white A2 size card base.

I finished off the card by adhering the oven glove, a cookie and the piping bag, also on foam dots for dimension! The three small orange/red hearts in the top right corner are actually the scrap piece from when I die cut the heart shaped cookie with the smaller heart inside!

The stamp set comes with a variety of options to create the perfect sentiment for your special card! I stamped and cut out the sentiment of my choice with a pair of scissors and added it to my card.

The best cookies come with glazing and glitter, right!? To the scalloped circle shaped cookies, I applied Distress Rock Candy using Distress Matte medium for glue to the hearts for that special touch!

Thanks for stopping by! Wishing you a happy and colorful day!

Botanical Backdrop Die Focused Card with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, I'm happy to be back with this bright and traditional holiday card showcasing the Botanical Backdrop die set, which was originally not a Christmas themed set, but the flower dies reminded me of poinsettias, so I thought it'd be fun to create a holiday card with that set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Botanical Backdrop & Season's Greetings Christmas Card by Marine Simon (featuring Winter Greenery Dies, Tropical Trees Backdrop Dies, Woodgrain Embossing Folder)

I started off by cutting everything I needed to make the card base. I cut two Botanical Backdrop leafy panels: one out of dark green cardstock, and one out of a Polka Dot Parade green pattern paper. I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and used a slim brush to add splatters to both panels, and I did the same with liquid stardust for sparkles. Next I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches dark kraft panel, placed it inside my Woodgrain embossing folder, applied brown ink inside the folder on the opposite side of the panel, closed the embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine to create a nice tone on tone brown woodgrain texture, mixed vintage photo distress ink with water to add brown splatters all over my panel, and then cut a dark brown frame using the Tropical Trees die set. Next I attached all those elements to my Woodgrain background. I cut both of the Botanical Backdrop panels in pieces, stuck one leafy element at each corner of my Woodgrain panel using 1mm foam squares, attached the dark brown frame on top using liquid glue, and then stuck my panel to a kraft card base.

I gold heat embossed "Merry Christmas" from Season's Greetings on white cardstock, cut it with the matching die, attached it right in the middle of my panel using 1mm foam squares, and then cut all the bits and pieces: the poinsettias pieces are from the Botanical Backdrop die set, and the branches and greenery are from the Winter Greenery die set. Cut all those pieces out of colored cardstock, gold mirror cardstock and vellum, added white splatters and liquid stardust splatters to the poinsettia elements, and white splatters only to the greenery pieces, and then assembled the poinsettias using 1mm foam squares to give them a lot of dimension. When it was done, I stuck the poinsettias and greenery to my card using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, and liquid glue as well. And finally, I gave my card a frosty winter look by applying white stencil paste on most of the elements.

And that's it! Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next time!
