Guest Designer Spotlight: Baked With Love Cards with Mona Toth

Hi crafty friends! It’s Mona here. I am so excited to be here as a guest designer, and share a sweet card and matching tag inspiration with you, using lovely Sunny Studio supplies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Baked With Love Card by Mona Toth (featuring Sydney Alphabet Dies, Dapper Diamond Embossing Folder)

I started my project with the card. First, I stamped the cookie and heart images from the Baked With Love stamp set and colored them with Ohuhu markers. After coloring I die-cut the images with its coordinating dies, so they were ready to use on my card.

For the background I used a piece of white woodgrain cardstock and embossed it with the Dapper Diamonds embossing folder. I really love the soft texture it adds to the white card while still keeping the focus on the stamped images. However I needed something extra, so I added some dark pink splatters with watercolor to break the card fronts softness.

Next, I cut a sheet of pink cardstock, called ballet slippers, and adhered it on a white cardbase. With D foam squares I adhered the embossed cardstock on the top of it. For the main sentiment I used the Sydney Alphabet dies to create the big word “COOKIE”. The small sentiment above it comes from the Baked With Love stamp set.

Once the card was finished, I made a few matching tags using the Build A Tag #2 dies. I used Strawberry Red and Ballet Slippers pink, and white cardstock for the tag bases.

To decorate them I stamped and colored more cookie images from the Baked With Love stamp set so the tags match the card perfectly. The sentiments come from the Inside Greetings Friends stamp set which is great for small projects like tags. After arranging the cookies I added gold sequined ribbon and added a few sequins as an embellishment as well.

Sydney Alphabet Focused Card with Tina H

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here with a sweet baby card featuring the versatile Sydney Alphabet dies. I always love to create personal messages and these dies are perfect for that!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sydney Alphabet & Baby Elephant Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Frilly Frame Stripes Dies, Scalloped Oval Mat Dies, Stitched Oval Dies, Lots of Dots Embossing Folder)

After creating a simple card base, I cut a white panel with the outer die of the Frilly Frames Stripes die which was then dry embossed with the Lots Of Dots embossing folder. I used liquid glue to adhere this piece to the card base.

My focal point consists of a large dark blue Oval (Scalloped Oval Mat 1). On top of this I am going to layer a white oval piece (Stitched Ovals) that will be turned into a sky scene with a blue ink and cloud stencil from my stash.

After mounting these two ovals to the embossed background, I selected a cutie from the Baby Elephant set. As always I used my Copics for some soft coloring, adding highlights with a white gel pen.

Then it was time to work on my combined sentiment. I spelled the word ‘baby’ with the Sydney Alphabet dies and glued them after the stamped ‘welcome’ word which was also taken from the Baby Elephant set. To complete the night sky, I added loads of dark blue stars, cut with several dies from the Comic Strip Speech Bubbles. I scattered them around the main image to complete the design.

I am looking forward to see all the beautiful cards you will create with this amazing die set! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!

Woolly Friends Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here, sharing a card featuring the new Woolly Friends Stamps! This super cute set is all about fluffy sheep, Easter and Spring! And of course I colored my sheep pink!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Woolly Friends Easter Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Dapper Diamonds Embossing Folder)

I started off by stamping four of the sheep, the egg basket, the picket fence, flowers/leaves and extra eggs from the Woolly Friends Stamps set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below. I then die cut the images out using the coordinating Woolly Friends Dies. Then setting them aside to work on the card base and the background panel.

Copic colors used:
Sheep: RV000/10/11/13, W0/1/3
Picket fence: C0/1/3
Eggs: BG11/13/49, YR04/Y15/17, RV10/11/13
Flowers: Y15/RV11/10
Leaves: YG03/17
Bows: Y15/17, BG13/11

Sunny Studio Stamps: Woolly Friends Easter Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Dapper Diamonds Embossing Folder)

For my card I used an A2 size card base. I trimmed a piece of pink cardstock from my stash to 5,5 x 4,25 inches and ran it through my die cutting machine with the Dapper Diamonds Embossing Folder. Next, I adhered the pink panel to the card base using double sided tape.

I then trimmed a piece of white card stock to measure 5 x 3,75 inches to create a simple ink blended scene with green for grass and turquoise for sky. I stamped and die cut the small bits of grass and tucked the eggs behind the grass. Lastly, I trimmed a piece of black cardstock for a frame to go behind my scene panel and adhered them to the card base, using double sided tape.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Woolly Friends Stamp setI added foam dots to the back of the remaining colored and die cut pieces for dimension and adhered them to the card!

Thanks for stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and colorful day!

Zig Zag Circles Die Focused Card with Tina H

Hello crafters, it’s Tina with another sweet Spring card. This design is framed by one of the fun Zig Zag Circle dies

Sunny Studio Stamps: Zig Zag Circle Die Focused Spring Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Chickie Baby, Scalloped Square Dies, A Bird's Life, Woodgrain Embossing Folder)

I started this project with a square card base. Next, I cut a white panel with the largest of the Scalloped Square 1 Small dies. I dry embossed this piece with the Woodgrain folder. I love how this texture matches the nature vibe of this card! Next, I glued this panel to the card base.

For my focal point I cut a large white circle (Zig Zag Circle dies) and turned it into a frame by using one of the Stitched Circles Small dies. Both pieces will fit together like a puzzle during the build-up of the design. I cut another piece (teal paper Flirty Flowers) with the stitched circle die to create a grassy border (die from my stash). The top part of the white circle was turned into a sky (cloud stencil from my stash and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide). I glued the grass piece to the circle with liquid glue.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Zig Zag Circle Die Focused Spring Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Chickie Baby, Scalloped Square Dies, A Bird's Life, Woodgrain Embossing Folder)

To complete the scene I stamped a tree branch, a little birdie (A Bird’s Life), some Easter eggs, a basket and a cute chick (Chickie Baby). All the coloring was done with my Copic markers and I added white highlights with a gel pen.

My sentiment comes from the Chubby Bunny set and was stamped on a white strip with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Before building the card, I took the white circle frame and the inner landscape part and flipped them both backwards. Then, I used some tape to hold them together. This extra step made it a lot easier for me to add foam tape and mount both parts to the embossed square panel.  I put all the images in place using tape where needed for that extra dimension. Lastly, I added the sentiment strip and some Aquamarine Jewels for that soft touch of bling!

I love how the Zig Zag Circle frames this sweet scene. But this set can be used for so many other designs! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!

Guest Designer Spotlight: Quill Cuties Cards with Aiysha Chander

Hello everyone! I'm Aiysha, so excited to be guest designing for Sunny Studio Stamps today, featuring two cards created with the Quill Cuties stamp set. This set is full of charm and personality, making it perfect for cheerful greetings and just-because cards. I created two designs with very different moods to show how easily these sweet hedgehogs adapt to any style.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Quill Cuties Card by Aiysha Chander (featuring Icing Rectangle Frame Dies)

For the first card, I created a soft, Valentine-inspired look. The Quill Cuties were stamped with memento black ink and colored in browns with Copic markers. I then layered the images on an ink-blended background to match the pink Valentine theme.

Two Quill Cuties take center stage, colored in cozy browns and soft pinks with a small pop of aqua for contrast. The sentiment was heat embossed in white, and the images were cut using coordinating Quill Cuties dies.

A scalloped frame from the Icing Rectangle Frames set gently anchors the design, while a few scattered hearts and a light splatter of white and gold add a whimsical finish.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Quill Cuties Card by Aiysha Chander (featuring Icing Rectangle Frame Dies)

The second card leans into a cozy, rustic feel. I used the Sunny Studio Woodgrain Embossing Folder on a kraft cardstock to create a warm textured base. Stamped several Quill Cuties on kraft cardstock to complement the kraft tones. They were then colored in earthy tones and arranged in a cheerful cluster to create a little scene.

To finish, I added the white heat embossed the sentiment on a contrasting brown strip with a red accent, and framed the design using a scalloped frame from the Icing Rectangle Frame set, finally scatter hearts to bring everything together.

For my third card, the adorable cutie soaking in a bathtub was too hard to resist, and it felt perfect for a fun bubble-bath–themed shaker card.

I stamped and colored these Cuties with Copic-friendly ink and created a soft pastel ink-blended background and built it up by die-cutting multiple layers using Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies to add depth. The shaker is filled with clear and blue sequins, chosen to mimic bubbly bath foam floating around the scene.

The sentiment "Quill you be mine?" adds a sweet finishing touch, making this card ideal for a love-themed occasion. Cute, playful, and full of movement—this little shaker card was such a joy to create.

Thank you so much for having me today! I hope these cards inspire you to create and send a few hedge hugs of your own.

Vintage Valentine Card with Tina M

Hi there! It’s Tina M here with you today. Pink is my favorite color and I’m so excited to share a sweet pink card I created using the Vintage Valentine stamps!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Vintage Valentine Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Woodgrain Embossing Folder)

My card base is A2 size and I started off by trimming a piece of pink polka dot paper from the Polka-dot Parade paper pack (the larger size polka dots) to 5,5 x 4,25 inches and then I adhered it to the card base using double sided tape. Next, I trimmed two pieces of card stock, a black piece to 5,1/8 x 3,7/8 inches and a pink piece to 5 x 3,3/4 inches.

I then placed the pink panel inside the Woodgrain embossing folder, applied darker pink ink inside the folder on the opposite side of the panel, closed the embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine to create a nice tone on tone pink woodgrain texture.
I adhered the pink woodgrain panel to the black panel for a nice thin black frame using double sided tape and adhered them to the card base.

Next, I stamped four of the cute envelope from the stamp set on pink polka dot paper (the smaller size polka dots). I then stamped four of the note cards, six hearts, and the typewriter on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below. I then die cut the images using the coordinating Vintage Valentine diesI cut an extra piece of the typewriter.

Copic colors used:
Typewriter: RV52/55, V000, C5/3
Hearts: RV52/55

Sunny Studio Stamps: Vintage Valentine Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Woodgrain Embossing Folder)

Time to stamp the greetings! I decided to go with xoxo on the little note cards, leaving space for a heart at the top on each of them. For the paper in the typewriter I chose You make my heart smile! Leaving space for two hearts at the top. I tucked the note cards in the envelopes, keeping them in place with a little glue. Lastly, I glued the hearts to the note cards and to the paper in the typewriter!

Remember I cut an extra piece of the typewriter? I glued it together with the stamped and colored piece to make it sturdier. I added foam dots to the back of the envelopes and the typewriter for dimension and adhered them to the woodgrain panel!

Thank you for stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and colorful day!
