Build-A-Bowl Die Focused Card with Leanne

Hello Everyone! Leanne here and today I'm sharing a simple card showing how the Build-a-Bowl dies can be used with something other than fruit. I have die a bunch of little hearts to fill the bowl on my card. 

First I added some light pink shading and splatters to the card front. Next I adhered the bowl that's been die cut from some metallic silver card stock. I then added a bunch of little hearts die cut from several different colors. The heart die I used comes from the Gift Card Envelope set. I arranged the hearts to look as if they were falling into and filling up the bowl. 

I created a custom greeting with stamps from Sunny Sentiments and the Love word die from Gift Card Envelope. Lastly I added a few clear sequins. That's it for quick and easy card. You could customize it even more by adding hearts in the recipient's favorite colors. This card design would also work great for Valentine's Day with red and pink hearts.

Spring Garden Die Focused Card with Leanne

Hello everyone! Leanne here to kick off the month of April with a Spring Garden mini slimline card. April showers bring May flowers but we also need some sunshine to make those flowers grow! I made this card to send a little sunshine and flowers to help brighten someone's day. 

I die cut all the pieces to build this Spring Garden scene from white card stock.  I then used Copic markers to simply color each piece before assembling. Here are the colors I used: E13, E15, N4, BG11, BG13, RV52, RV55, RV10, Y15, YR12, YR14, YG63, YG11, E47

The background for this card is a simple ink blend of pale yellow and green inks: Catherine Pooler Whipped Honey & Matcha. I then stamped the sentiment with CP S'mores ink.  The "sending sunshine" stamps are from Sunny Sentiments.

To finish off this mini slimline design, I added some clear sparkling sequins and a decorative die cut border. I used a Stitched Scalloped border die to create this piece.

Wicker Basket Die Focused Card with Leanne

Hello friends! Leanne here! I have a spring note card to share featuring a lovely wicker basket full of flowers. Every element on this card was created with dies. I just love all the texture and dimension you can achieve with layering up die cut elements.  

To an A2 size green card base, I add the Eyelet Lace Frilly Frames panel. I lightly inked bended some blue and green to the center of the panel first. I also added some paint spatters and dots with a white gel pen. Next I cut out the basket and lots of flowers dies from the Wicker Basket set. The basket is die cut from kraft card stock. I used Copic markers to add shading and darken the detailed impression lines the die makes. 

Copic colors: R14, R24, R27, R30, R32, YG11, YG17, Y11, Y15, Y17, E42, E43

The flowers, leaves, bow, and ladybugs (using the Mini Basic Shapes 4 dies) have all been die cut from white card stock. I again used Copic markers to color them. Since these are very small die cuts, I find that coloring with Copics is the easiest way to add shading and depth. I used a white gel pen to add highlight detail on each piece. I adhered all the elements in place the thin foam tape.  I like to use foam tape since I can trim the tape into tiny sections to fit behind small die cuts. Lastly I added the die cut word "hello" which is from the Sunny Sentiments coordinating dies.
