Sweet As Can Bee Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Sweet As Can Bee.

Cut a white topfold base card, added a piece of pattern paper out of the Gingham Pastels Paper. Die cut a yellow rectangle using the outer die out of Frilly Frames Hexagon. Cut a watercolor rectangle matching the inside and ink blended the background using Cracked Pistashio and Peacock Feathers. Splattered some water before assembling.

Die cut a grass border and ink blended it using Mowed Lawn en Rustic Wilderness. Cut a "sand border" and ink blended it using Walnut Stain and Ground Espresso. Splattered some water and adhered to the base. Heat set the sentiment on some yellow cardstock and die cut it using the Brilliant Banner 1 dies.

Blue Flowers - BG15, BG13, BG11, BG10
Pink Flower - RV14, RV13, RV11, RV10
Flower Buds - E19, YR18, Y38, Y15, Y13, Y11
Bees - Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11 /
Snail - C5, C3, C1, C00, 0 / E44, E43, E42, E41
Honey - YR27, YR24, YR23, YR21, YR20
Brown - E44, E43, E42, E41, E40

Stamped all the images out of Sweet As Can Bee and Snail Mail, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Sweet As Can Bee dies and Snail Mail dies. Added some white gel pen details to finish off the card.

Guest Designer Spotlight: All Occasion Cards with Kavya

Hi folks, Kavya from Handmade By Kavya with some fun inspiration for the latest release! The new release is fueled with fun adorable cuties perfect for any occasion. Since it's valentine's day, I am going to show you how to make three cards that could be perfect for any occasion including today. How perfect is that? I think every card stash needs cards that are versatile! 

For my first card, we will be highlighting the typewriter from Vintage Valentines stamp set. I started off by stamping images from Vintage Valentines and Garden Fairy. For the background, I started off by die cutting Frilly Frames Quatrefoil using navy blue cardstock.

For the background, I took a lighter blue cardstock and ink blended the top using navy blue dye ink. For the table, I used pattern paper from All is Bright paper pack. Adhere all the images as shown in the picture below. Add a few details using white gel pen and you are done! 

For my next card, I am making a cute snail mail themed card! I started off by stamping and coloring a bunch of images from Vintage Valentines, Garden Critters and Snail Mail. Then, I created my oval base using Stitched Oval and Scalloped Oval Mat 3 dies. 

I then ink bended the top of the stitched oval die using pale pink dye ink. For the background, I used pattern paper from Critter Country paper pack. Adhere all the images, add a few details using a white gel pen and you are done! 

My final card is super simple to make but I think it's absolutely stunning! I started off by preparing my base using white cardstock and Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones paper pack. 

Then, I die cut a bunch of speech bubbles using Speech Bubbles Extras dies. Then, I added a 'hi' using Loopy Letters dies. Added a few details like hearts using white gel pen and I was done!

Speech Bubbles Extras Die Focused Cards with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. For today’s project, I created Valentine shaker ATCs using the new Speech Bubbles Extras dies.

I started by cutting the  ATC card bases and ink blending the backgrounds with soft pink and green inks. To give the cards an extra Valentine vibe, I stamped little hearts from the Cascading Hearts stamp onto the backgrounds. 

Next, I stamped and die-cut the adorable images from the Passionate Penguins stamp set along with the mailbox from Snail Mail.

I colored all the images with my Ohuhu markers and added a few white highlights using a white gel pen. Before assembling the shaker, I placed the images on the ATCs to decide where to die-cut the Speech Bubbles. 

Inside the speech bubbles, I stamped the XOXO sentiment from the Vintage Valentine stamp set.

Finally, I added a piece of acetate and double-sided foam to the back of the ATC, filled the shaker with tiny hearts, and sealed everything up. And just like that, the Valentine shaker ATCs were finished!

Passionate Penguins Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today with a fun "just because" card  featuring images from the Passionate Penguins and Snail Mail sets. I simply adore these super cute penguins! And although the Snail Mail set is a small one, it really packs a punch ... fun images, wonderful sentiment and excellent price point! I love how these two sets play so well together. 

I stamped the images from the Passionate Penguins stamps and Snail Mail stamps sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Passionate Penguins Dies and Snail Mail Dies to die cut them out. I colored them with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

Mailbox: R05/24/29/39, B14, E23/25
Mail: C0/1, R05/24
Grass: YG01/03

For the background, I took a piece of white cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") and diecut two windows into it using the second and fourth largest circle dies from the Stitched Circle Small Dies. Using this panel as a guide, I ink blended Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks onto another piece of Neenah cardstock in the location of those windows.

You Make My Heart Smile! How sweet is this sentiment?! It totally melts my heart. It is certainly going to brighten the recipient's day! Even the mixture of the two fonts for this sentiment is just beautiful! I love it! I stamped this sentiment from the Snail Mail stamps set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used a paper trimmer to cut it out. 

I adhered the sentiment and colored images to the front of the card with foam tape for additional dimension and interest. The card front was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few Majestic Clear Confetti.
