My Heart Tags with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here with you today, I'm so happy to be back on the blog with this set of five colorful tags showcasing, as very often, multiple things. My plan was originally to make one tag only, the one with the burger and fries, but I had so much fun making that tag that I decided to use the other signs from Cruisin' Cuisine to make more.

I started off by stamping all my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and Graph'it brush markers.

Next I worked on my greetings, and started by stamping five big greetings using Lawn Fawn premium dye inks:

• "Happy Valentine's Day" from My Heart using Lemonade ink

• "You're My Favorite" from Lovey Dovey using Freshly cut grass ink

• "Thank You", "Happy Birthday", and "Make A Wish" from Big Bold Greetings using Guava, Bubblegum, and Merman inks

And then I white heat embossed five phrases from Cruisin' Cuisine and Words Of Gratitude on dark gray slim banners: "You're the burger to my fries", "Have a sweet day" (twice), "Franks a lot for always being there" and "Soy happy we're friends".

Next I used the Scalloped Square Tag largest die to cut five panels out of different Classic Sunburst pattern papers to match my food trucks. And to make my panels rectangle and not square, I started off by die cutting the top of the panel and not the bottom. I shifted the die down about an inch, and then cut the bottom of the panel and not the top. I did the same with white cardstock to create five white tags that I glued at the back of each colorful tag using liquid glue.

To mute the front of each tag down a little bit, I cut five vellum panels using the smallest die from Stitched Rectangles, attached images and greetings on each of those vellum panels using 1mm foam squares, and then stuck them on the tags using liquid glue.

I finished each tag by adding highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, and added black & white gingham ribbon at the top of each tag. And that's it! 

Making those tags was so fun, it was my very first time using Cruisin' Cuisine and I really loved coloring those cute trucks and shop signs! Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next time!

Gift Card Envelope Die Focused Gift Tags with Leanne

Hello everyone! Leanne here and today I'm sharing some unique Valentine gift tags made with the new Envelope Gift Card dies. I thought this set would make fun tags to attach to some Valentine goodie bags I'm going to give to my family.  

These are so easy to make with the envelope die included in this set. I simply die some envelopes from a few different colors of card stock then folded the bottom and side flaps in and secured with adhesive. To make them into tags, I punched a small hole in the left corner and tied on some twine.  

Now of course I had to make some fun little note cards to tuck into these envelope tags. The note cards are 3 inches tall and 3 3/8 inch wide. I added some ink blending and splatters to the cards before adding the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment which comes from the My Heart set. 

When the note cards are pulled out of the envelope completely, there's a little surprise decoration revealed. I used images and word stamps from Big Hearted Bears to create simple scenes along the bottom of the note cards. I also decorated the outside of the envelopes.

There's word and heart dies included in the Envelope Gift Card set for this purpose. These were so fun to make and I have a feeling I'll be using this die set a lot for making little envelope tags for other holidays and occasions.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Bighearted Bears Cards with Ashlee Bellinger

Hey, Sunny Studio friends it's Ashlee and I'm super excited to be back again with another guest post here at Sunny Studio Stamps. I'm also excited because I got to create with some of the brand new release that's available celebrating Spring and Valentine's.

Here are the products I used for my first card :

- Bighearted Bears Stamps / Bighearted Bears Dies

- Dotted Diamond Portrait die

- My Heart Stamps / My Heart Dies

To create this card I started with a dark pink card stock base. I then got a light pink card and added a touch of ink blending to it with Catherine Pooler ink before splattering it with water giving it a mottled effect. Once that was dry I die-cut it using the Dotted Diamond Portrait die before adhering it to the card base. 

Now it was time to add all the super cute elements to create a Valentine-themed card. 

Using the My Heart Stamps I selected one of the sentiments and heat embossed it on black card stock using WOW! Opaque bright white embossing powder before die cutting it with the coordinating My Heart Dies and adhering in place with liquid glue.

I stamped, coloured and die-cut a bunch of the Bighearted Bears images. These were all coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers with added white pen highlights. Using foam tape I added varying depths of the tape to the back of all the images so I could adhere them in place and create dimension on the card with the sweet little scene! To complete the card I added a touch of pretty sequins.

Onto my second card. For this one, I used these products :

- Bighearted Bears stamp / Bighearted Bears Dies

- Dotted Diamond Portrait Die

- My Heart Stamps / My Heart Dies

- Gift Card Envelope Die

To create this one I started with a light grey card stock base, added some Catherine Pooler grey ink and then splattered with water creating the same effect for the card base as I did for my first card. Die cut also using the dotted diamond die. 

The new Gift Card Envelope Die is too cute, I couldn't resist using that to add a sweet little envelope to the centre of my card. I die-cut it from light pink card stock before folding and adhering it into place. I also wanted it to look like it had a little letter inside so I cut a piece of white card to add inside it.

I stamped, coloured and die-cut three of the Bighearted Bears before adhering them in place with foam tape on the little card. All coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers with added white pen highlights!

This sentiment was also heat embossed using WOW! Opaque bright white powder on black cardstock before die-cutting with the coordinating die and adhering to the envelope with foam tape for more dimension. I love using foam tape on my cards just to make the scene pop up off the card.

And of course, to finish it all off a touch of sequins, I just can't go without adding some!

My Heart Card with Isha

Hello everyone! Isha here with a CAS card featuring the My Heart stamp and coordinating dies. I love the font of this stamp, so I decided to keep it as my focal image and create the background to enhance it.

I started by sponging the kitsch flamingo and dried marigold distress inks onto a white panel. Stamp the hearts in two sizes from the My Heart stamp set. Die-cut this panel using the Stitched Rectangle die. Adhere to a white card. Flick some clear iridescent watercolor.

Stamp the sentiment using black ink, die-cut using the coordinating dies. I die-cut the sentiment 3 more times using white card and stacked it behind the sentiment. Die-cut a vellum circle using the Stitched Circle Large die. Adhere the sentiment to the vellum and attach it to the card.

Bighearted Bears Card with Rachel

Hello friends! It's Rachel here with a love-themed shaker card featuring the new and adorable Bighearted Bears Stamp Set. I absolutely LOVE this stamp set! It can be used for more than just Valentine's Day and it also coordinates perfectly with the previously released Panda Party Stamp Set. 

I first stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I also stamped a fun little banner from the Panda Party Stamp Set. I used Copic markers to color my images and the coordinating Bighearted Bears and Panda Party die sets to cut them out.

Copic Colors Used:

• Pandas: W00, W1, W3, W5, W7
• Cheeks: R32
• Pinks: RV02, RV04, RV17
• Reds: R14, R46, R59, R89

Next, I trimmed a piece of smooth white card stock to 4" x 5.25" and blended it with some Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. Once I finished blending, I then added some spatters of diluted Copic Opaque White Paint as well as some pink dots from some Copic Markers (RV02, RV04). I used some doubled sided tape to attach this piece to my top-folding A2 sized card base (4.25" x 5.5") and then die cut my scalloped frame 6x's using the largest die from the Fancy Frames Rectangles Die Set. I used liquid adhesive to glue five of the frames together and then adhered them to my card base over top of the ink-blended panel. I then stamped my sentiment from the My Heart Stamp Set with some Pinkfresh Candy Apple Ink, cut it out with the coordinating My Heart Die Set and then added it to the center of my card base.

Next, I poured some Red & Pink Clay Heart Confetti and Majestic Mini Sequins onto the center of my card. After spreading the embellishments out with my finger, I then glued a 4" x 5.25" piece of clear acetate to the top of my rectangular scalloped frame. To finish off the shaker portion of my card, I then glued one more layer of my frame on top of the acetate for a clean look. Lastly, I added my images with some 3D foam adhesive tape for a pop of dimension.

My Heart Card with Nicky

Hello friends, this is Nicky with you today on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog and I have a sweet Valentine's card to share with you featuring the My Heart stamp set and coordinating dies. Please read on for all the details. 

I trimmed down the background panel to 5 3/4 inches square. This panel forms part of the Spring Fling paper pack. I adhered the panel to the card base. Over this I layered a die cut square frame from my stash. This was applied with foam tape to create dimension.

I stamped the wonderful My Heart sentiment with red ink. I did this in my Misti so that I could repeat stamp 2 or 3 times for a super crisp image. I then die cut the sentiment using the coordinating die. I applied this to the corner of my scene with foam tape.

I stamped the Big Bunny image with Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and I coloured the images using the following Copic markers:

Bunny - C3, C1, C0, C00
Bunny Tummy - C1, C0, C00, R000
Blush - R22, R21, R20, R00
Bows - R89, R39, R29
Envelope - C1, C0, B000, B0000, R39, R29

I used a black marker to make the eyes bolder and added some cute eyelashes and then I used a white gel pen to highlight points. I die cut using the bunny and envelope using the coordinating dies then backed the image with foam tape and applied it to the card.

To complete the card I die cut the little flowers using one of the dies included with the Gift Card Envelope Die and adhered these with glue.

My Heart Card with Tammy

Hello friends, Tammy here with a fun Valentine's themed project, featuring the stamp set, My Heart. I love making mini cards and had so much fun turning these sweet critters into shaped mini cards with a Gift Card Envelope. These will be my girls' Valentine's this year; along with a gift card and little chocolate! 

To begin, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut images from the following sets:
Big Bunny/ Big Bunny Dies
Holiday Hugs/ Holiday Hugs Dies

Next, I created the mini cards by scoring a piece of white cardstock in half, then placed the bear and bunny dies just slightly over the edge of the fold, and ran through my die cut machine. I attached the colored images to the front of the mini cards, then stamped the inside using sentiments from Bighearted Bears in red ink.

Using the Gift Card Envelope Dies, I die cut little red and pink envelopes from the Classic Gingham and Gingham Pastels Paper. Lastly, I stamped the beautiful Valentine sentiments in both red and pink ink using the My Heart stamp set. I then die cut the stamped images using the My Heart Dies and attached them to the front of the gift card envelopes with foam tape to complete my project!
