Happy Howl-o-ween Treat Bag with Leanne

Hi everyone! Leanne here today. Halloween will be here before we know it so I've already been shopping for Halloween candy to fill treat bags. We get a lot of trick or treaters in our neighborhood every year. However this Happy Howl-o-ween treat bag idea is for the furry four legged trick or treaters.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Happy Howl-o-ween Treat Bags by Leanne West (featuring Treat Bag Topper Dies, Too Cute To Spook)

To make these fun canine friendly treat bags you'll need some dog treats, small cellophane bags, the Treat Bag Topper dies, the Happy Howl-o-ween stamps, and the Too Cute to Spook stamps

I die cut the base bag topper from black card stock then added the green and purple mats. I picked out some images from the two stamp sets to create simple scenes. I Copic colored the images and will list the colors I used at the end of the post. Before adhering the images I stamped the webs and sentiments with black ink directly onto the mats.

Here are the Copics I used for coloring the images: orange - YR21, YR12, YR1; purple - V22, V25, V99; black spiders - N4, N6; shading on white - C0, C3;  brown on dogs - E40, E41, E43

I filled the cello bags with some bone shaped dog biscuits and sealed them up. I then atached the bag toppers with double sided tape. And these fun treat bags are ready to pass out on Halloween!

Treat Bag Topper Die Focused Treat Bags with Nicky

Hey everyone this is Nicky with you today on the Sunny blog and I'm sharing a project featuring the new Treat Bag Topper die. Please read on for all the details.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Treat Bag Topper Die Focused Treat Bags by Nicky Meeks

This Treat Bag Topper die can create you unlimited year round treat bag toppers for all occasions. I went with a birthday favours type design.

I started by using various patterned papers all by Sunny Studio to create the toppers. For each topper I used two toning designs that worked well together and in contrast to one another.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Treat Bag Topper Die Focused Treat Bags by Nicky Meeks

I simply die cut the toppers from a less patterned paper and die cut a more decorative panel with something more playful. I glued the decorative panels to the toppers and then die cut the word "happy", using the Happy Word die, from glitter cardstock and glued it to another die cut to make it more sturdy then adhered to the topper. I also created a party hat for each topper (the hat is included in the die set) and adorned each one with a mini pom pom on top and then adhered with dimensional foam tape to each bag topper.

I borrowed the word 'birthday' from the Birthday Cat stamp set and adhered the sentiment strip with foam tape and highlighted points on each party hat. I filled little favour bags with toning coloured candy, folded over the top of the bag and cinched it together with the topper and then using a stapler I stapled each bag closed in two positions.

You can get quite a production line going with these especially if you repeat the same design with the same cardstocks. Imagine your Valentine's favours or Halloween treats made with this topper!

Thanks for coming by the blog to read today and I'll be back soon with something new!

Treat Bag Topper Card with Tina

Hello crafters, it’s Tina and today I wanted to show you the versatility of the Treat Bag Topper die! Yes, it can be a topper, but this set has extra shapes that make it so great. I created a card and matching envelope to highlight these options. As I mentioned in previous posts, I am always looking for ways to increase my birthday card stash! A situation that many of us may be familiar with!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Treat Bag Topper Die Focused Birthday Cat Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Happy Thoughts, Frilly Frame Dies, Make A Wish)

For this design, I created a white panel with the outer border from the Frilly Frames Stripes die. I used the rectangle from the Treat Bag Topper die and tried to create three evenly spaced windows in this panel. At this point I was still going for a see through card, so I cut a piece of acetate and placed in on the back of the white piece.

In the pictures, this acetate is almost invisible, but it is the surface that I used to glue all my components in place! I changed my mind about the design because the white panel had become flimsy, after all the die cutting. I decided to glue a beautiful ocher yellow paper from Gingham Pastels to the back of the frame, making it much sturdier!

If you are in for a party, make sure to invite the adorable Birthday Cats. I selected a few cuties and accessories and colored them in with my copics. The big birthday cake is from the Make A Wish stamps. The sentiment combines the ‘Happy’ word (Treat Bag Topper die) and  ‘Birthday’ (Happy Thoughts) which I stamped on the cake in Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I glued the Happy sentiment to the middle part of the card and created little ‘cats with cake’ clusters on the top and bottom of the design. A few Gold Jewels were the finishing touch!

Finally, I die cut three party hats and banners from the Treat Bag Topper die and Gingham Pastels to decorate a white envelope for this card.

Thank you for joining me and I hope you will have a fun time with these dies!

Treat Bag Topper Die Focused Card with Tammy

Hello friends! Tammy here with another fun Sunny Studio project! One of my favorite things to make are favors, or little gifts. Before I became a card maker, I got started in paper crafting making handmade party favors for my daughter's birthday, so it's always fun to get back to my "roots"! I had so much fun making these Valentine themed treat bags for my girls' using the new Treat Bag Topper Dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Treat Bag Topper Die Focused Valentine's Day Treat Bags by Tammy Stark (featuring Bighearted Bears)

To begin, I stamped the images from Bighearted Bearscolored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Bighearted Bears Dies. Next, using the Treat Bag Topper DiesI cut toppers from red and pink cardstock. I die cut the included stitched rectangle mat using Bristol smooth cardstock, then ink blended the mats with Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide inks.

I stamped the mats with the sentiments from Bighearted Bears in black ink, highlighting the 'beary' in red ink, then attached them to the treat bag toppers. I adhered the stamped images with foam tape then added some stamped red hearts.

I die cut white tags from the Window Quad Square Diesstamped Happy Valentine's Day (also from Bighearted Bears) and red hearts, then tied them to the treat toppers with red and white bakers twine. Lastly, I attached the toppers to little clear bags filled with Valentine Hershey kisses. These are such fun little gifts; I will definitely be reaching for the Treat Bag Topper Die often for upcoming occasions!

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you next time!

Treat Bag Topper Gift with Cathy

Hey friends! Cathy here today sharing a fun Valentine's gift using the Treat Bag Topper Dies. These dies are perfect for any occasion and add such a great touch to a little gift!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Treat Bag Topper Die Focused Valentine's Day Treat Bag by Cathy Chapdelaine (featuring Sprawling Surfaces, Truckloads Of Love, Scalloped Heart Dies, Stitched Heart Dies, Loopy Letter Dies, Dotted Diamond Dies)

I started by die-cutting the topper from white cardstock and then die-cutting it with the Dotted Diamond Landscape Die for a little texture. Since I chose a panda in my little scene, I die-cut the topper again from black cardstock and overlapped/adhered the white and black toppers together.

Next, I die-cut the stitched rectangle in the dies from cream cardstock and inked it lightly with Saltwater Taffy Distress ink. I also splattered a little watered down white and black paints with a fan brush. I then stamped the cobblestone stamp from the Sprawling Surfaces Stamps on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock and colored it with Copics. I used the same stitched rectangle die and die-cut the top portion of the stamp. I used scissors and cut along the top edge of the cobblestone and adhered it to the bottom of the cream stitched rectangle.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Treat Bag Topper Die Focused Valentine's Day Treat Bag by Cathy Chapdelaine (featuring Sprawling Surfaces, Truckloads Of Love, Scalloped Heart Dies, Stitched Heart Dies, Loopy Letter Dies, Dotted Diamond Dies)

Next, I stamped the panda, truck, hearts and heart balloons on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock, colored them with Copics and die-cut them using the coordinating dies.

I used the following stamps/dies:
Bighearted Bears Stamps/Dies (heart balloons)

Balloon Rides Stamps/Dies (panda)

Truckloads of Love Stamps/Dies

I adhered the heart balloons to the treat bag topper first and then adhered the stitched rectangle with the truck. I heat embossed small sentiments from the Truckloads of Love Stamps and Panda Party Stamps on pink cardstock with white embossing powder and hand cut around them. I die-cut the "love" sentiment using the Loopy Letters Dies from black and white cardstock and layered them together.

The Treat Bag Topper Dies are sized perfectly to fit the top of a cellophane treat bag, but I decided to make an outer sleeve to go over a cellophane bag. This allowed the treat bag to stand upright with candy inside. To make this, I cut a piece of kraft cardstock 4" x 11" and scored it on the 11" side at 4 3/4" and 6 1/4". I then die-cut one end of the cardstock using the Dotted Diamond Landscape Die to match the topper.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Treat Bag Topper Die Focused Valentine's Day Treat Bag by Cathy Chapdelaine (featuring Sprawling Surfaces, Truckloads Of Love, Scalloped Heart Dies, Stitched Heart Dies, Loopy Letter Dies, Dotted Diamond Dies)

I created a window to see the treats inside by die-cutting the cardstock 3/4" up from the score line using the second largest Stitched Heart 2 Dies. To get a scalloped heart border around the opening, I die-cut a piece of pink cardstock using the second largest Scalloped Heart Dies and then die-cut it using the second largest Stitched Heart 2 Dies. I then adhered the scalloped frame around the opening.

To finish, I filled a cellophane treat bag with some candy, set it inside the folded kraft cardstock piece and stapled it at the top.  I then adhered my treat bag topper to the top of the kraft cardstock.

I had a lot of fun making this and hope you enjoyed! Thanks for stopping by today! For more inspiration, please visit my blog www.inkredibleadventures.com and you can also find me on Instagram as @cathy.chapdelaine.

Gift Card Envelope Die Focused Mini Cards with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, I'm super happy to be back on the blog today with this trio of colorful Gift Card Envelopes and their matching mini cards. I went for a rainbow birthday theme, and brought back the kitties from Birthday Cat for the occasion.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Gift Card Envelope Die Focused Mini Cards by Marine Simon (featuring Birthday Cat)

I started off by stamping my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I cut them using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my Graph'it brush markers and Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers.

Here is the detailed list of the stamp sets I used: ● Birthday Cat for the kitty cupcakes, cats, small cupcake and party hat ● Balloon Rides for a banner ● Special Day for the hearts.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Gift Card Envelope Die Focused Mini Cards by Marine Simon (featuring Birthday Cat)

Next I cut three gold glitter "Happy" using a Treat Bag Topper die, and white heat embossed three "purrthday" from Birthday Cat on dark grey banners. And I also cut three postage stamp frames using a Gift Card Envelope die.

I cut three envelopes out of different Spring Sunburst papers using the main Gift Card Envelope die, and because I wanted to add images on the front of the envelopes but with a muted background, I also cut three 3,25 x 2 inches vellum panels. I attached a few items on each of those vellum panels: a "happy" word + a "purrthday" banner + cupcake postage stamp + images using 1mm foam squares and liquid glue, and then I stuck a vellum panel on the front of each envelope using liquid glue.

Next I created three mini birthday cards to put inside each of my envelopes. I cut three 3,25 x 2 inches Dots & Stripes Pastels panels, and three 3 x 1,75 inches vellum panels. I white heat embossed a different greeting from Birthday Cat on each vellum panel, attached the remaining images on the vellum panels using 1mm foam squares, and then stuck the vellum panels on the bigger panels using liquid glue.

As always I finished my projects by adding highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, and I also added glitter to each heart for a sparkling touch.

And that's it! I hope that these envelopes and mini cards will inspire you. Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next week!
