Summer Sweets Cards with Franci and Candice

Hi there! It's Franci here with you today, with a yummy card featuring the Summer Sweets stamp set. These little sweet foodies are so cute, I had so much fun arranging them into this cute pattern!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Summer Sweets Sweet Word Die Birthday Card by Franci Vignoli

I stamped them all, colored them with Copics and then added some details with a white gel pen. Then I die cut part of my sentiment out of some red patterned paper from the Classic Gingham collection using the Sweet word die set and I glued it down. I stamped the other part of my sentiment and also added some sequins here and there.

This panel was cut slightly smaller than a standard size card so I covered my card front with some kraft cardstock and then adhered it with some foam tape.

Please enjoy my video tutorial here!

Hope you like my card and thanks a lot for stopping by today!

Hello Crafty friends! It's Candice sharing my orange crush with you today, featuring the Summer Sweets stamp set!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Summer Sweets Birthday Card by Candice Fisher

I began my card with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base that fits nicely into your standard size envelopes. For my background, I first die cut the circle panel from my cameo silhouette and inked a piece of Bristol Smooth with Ripe Persimmon, Carved Pumpkin and Dried Marigold to fit behind the circle frame. I then heat embossed the bubbles in white to show in the two rows.

Next, I stamped the soda bottles from the Summer Sweets stamp set on watercolor paper, colored them with Zigs in orange, pale orange and pale grey, and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I then stamped a bunch of the oranges with Carved Pumpkin and used the coordinating die to cut them out and added them with the soda bottles either with glue or foam tape.

To finish the card, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on trimmed black banners and adhered with foam tape. To tie it all together, I added some white and black Nuvo drops!

Thank you for stopping by and I am sorry if you are now craving an orange soda!

Herringbone Frame Focused Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a food themed card using the wonderful Frilly Frames Herringbone dies. I just can't get enough of the fun food sets:

Sunny Studio Stamps: Frilly Frame Dies Fast Food Fun Breakfast Puns Punny Friendship Card by Vanessa Menhorn

I first die-cut the herringbone frame from masking paper and adhered it to the front of my card base. Now I inked it with various blue Distress Oxide Inks and removed the mask. I stamped the images from Fast Food Fun and Breakfast Puns onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, die-cut everything with the matching dies and adhered the elements to the card with foam tape.

Finally, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered it to the card.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

-----------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone, Anja here. The featured product for today's card is the Frilly Frames Herringbone die set. I really like the herringbone pattern and tried something different this time.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Frilly Frame Dies Fast Food Fun Breakfast Puns Summer Sweets Punny Friendship Card by Anja Bytyqi

To create a textured background which almost reminds me of tiles or a brick wall, I dry embossed the die onto light sea glass cardstock. I trimmed down the embossed piece, adhered it to a red card base and put an aqua frame around it. For the ground, I cut a strip of black Heroic Halftones paper.

I combined the Fast Food Fun stamps with the milkshake from the Summer Sweets set and stamped all the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images with Copic Markers and fussy cut them out with scissors (of course there are coordinating dies are available).

The sentiment is from the Silly Sloths set and I stamped it in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock banner. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

Potted Rose Cards with Tammy and Ana

Hi friends! Tammy here, sharing this cheery card, featuring the gorgeous Potted Rose Stamp. I combined my simple design with the Frilly Frames Herringbone. I just love loves the intricate detail it adds to any card!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Potted Rose Frilly Frame Dies Fancy Frame Dies Friendship Card by Tammy Stark

To begin, I cut an A2 rectangle from Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended the background with Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks. Next, I cut white cardstock using the Frilly Frames HerringboneI then cut a circle out of the middle and added two, stacked white scalloped circle frames I cut using the Fancy Frames Circle Die. I attached the frame to my inked background and then stamped the sentiment from Potted Rose in black ink in the center of the scalloped window.

Next, I stamped the roses and leaves from Potted Rose using Pinkfresh Ink Cubes  in Rise & Shine, Heartbeat, and Over The Hills. I then die cut the stamped images using the Potted Rose Dies and arranged them onto my card, using foam tape for dimension. To finish my card, I attached the card front to a white card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Hi friends! Ana here today with a floral card featuring Potted Rose stamps and coordinating diesDapper Diamonds embossing folder and Fancy Frames Oval dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Potted Rose Frilly Frame Dies Fancy Frame Dies Friendship Card by Ana Anderson

I started by stamping the flowers, leaves and the pot from Potted Rose stamp set, then used coordinating dies to cut all the pieces. I used Pink Fresh Studio ink cubes in Fairy Dust, Heartbeat, Soul of Provence, and Rise & Shine - and Altenew Cherry Blossom for the flowers and Pink Fresh Studio Garden Stroll for the leaves. For the pot I used PFS Wild Truffles ink set.

For my background I cut a piece of white cardstock slightly smaller than the A2 size card base and ran in through Dapper Diamonds embossing folder which I lightly inked with Sky blue ink (from PFS Morning Sky). I created a scalloped frame and oval with Fancy Frames Oval dies, then inked the oval piece with Sky blue ink.

I adhered the oval frame and blue oval piece to the embossed background then adhered the pot and flowers. I white heat embossed the hello sentiment (from Potted Rose set) on a small tag (from Wrap Around Box dies), then inked the tag with lightest ink from PFS Wild Truffles ink set. To embellish the card I used White Pearls.

I really hope you like today’s post and got inspired! Have a wonderful week crafties!

Crusin' Cuisine Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hi friends. This is Angelica, and today I have a fun summer card, featuring the Cruisin' Cuisine stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Cruisin' Cuisine Sliding Window Dies Heartstrings Border Dies Summer Themed Card by Angelica Conrad

I started by coloring the stamped images with Copic Markers, then used the coordinating dies to die-cut them. Next, I made a panel to hold a gift card. I used the Sliding Window Die to die-cut Gingham Pastels Pattern Paper. I put the panel together, following a Jennifer McGuire YouTube tutorial. I used a small Stitched Arch die cut for my pull tab, and added a cute pink Heartstrings Border Dies heart for a fun detail.

The sentiment comes from Radiant Plumeria stamp set. I white heat-embossed the sentiment onto white card stock, and blended Spun Sugar and Crushed Pistachio Distress oxide inks onto the panel.

Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope I have passed on some crafty inspiration!

---------------------------------------------------------------

Hello Sunny Studio friends! It's Juliana and today I'm sharing a card featuring the Cruisin' Cuisine Stamp Set. I couldn't help but to combine it with the Beach Babies Stamp Set to create a fun summer themed card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Cruisin' Cuisine Beach Babies Sunny Sentiments Fluffy Cloud Border Dies Summer Themed Card by Juliana Michaels

I began by stamping and die cutting images from the Cruisin' Cuisine, Sunny Sentiments and Beach Babies Stamp Sets. I colored them with Copic Markers and then die cut them using the coordinating die sets.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Cruisin' Cuisine Beach Babies Sunny Sentiments Fluffy Cloud Border Dies Summer Themed Card by Juliana Michaels

For the background, I die cut a piece of green grass patterned paper from the Spring Fling Paper Pad using one of the Woodland Border Dies. For the clouds, I die cut 3 pieces of cardstock using the Fluffy Clouds Border Dies and used them as a mask. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink with a foam blending tool to ink a piece of Bristol Smooth Paper. I then die cut this entire piece using the stitched frame from Frilly Frames Retro Petal Die and layered this entire piece onto a piece of pink patterned paper from the Summer Splash Paper Pad.

I hope you enjoyed this bit of inspiration using the Cruisin' Cuisine Stamp Set and how I created a fun summer scene with it. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Sea You Soon Cards with Ashley and Juliana

Hello friends! It’s Ashley today with a very special card featuring the Sea You Soon mini set! As of last week, I now have a three year old! My daughter loves sea creatures, so I used the Sea You Soon set to make an under the sea birthday party for her with a special surprise - press the starfish and the candles light up!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sea You Soon Best Fishes Tropical Scenes Birthday Card by Ashley Ebben

I started by blending Distress Oxides in Milled Lavender, Tumbled Glass, and Salty Ocean on a 6.25”x3.5” piece of white cardstock. I splattered it with white and gold acrylic paint and dried it with my heat gun.

I stamped my images in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. I used:
Sea You Soon stamps and dies (shark and octopus)
Best Fishes stamps and dies (sharks and sea creatures)
Tropical Scenes stamps and dies (coral reef)
Purrfect Birthday stamps and dies (party hats and cake)

The cake from Purrfect Birthday has three candles - perfect for a third birthday! I masked off the kitty face and ears so that it looked like a plain chocolate cake instead. I added all the images to my card, popping the cake and shark holding it up with foam tape so the light could shine behind it. I finished with the “birthday smiles” sentiment from Cruising Critters embossed in gold. I thought it went really well with all the toothy sharks!

To make the card light up, I used a Power Pack from Pear Blossom Press, maker tape, and white lights from Chibitronics. One light wasn’t quite bright enough behind the cardstock, so I punched a hole behind the cake and added a second light for a stronger effect. I placed the Power Pack so the button was under the starfish. All that was left was to attach the card front to the light up piece with two layers of foam tape!

I am so pleased with the final result and so was the birthday girl! The light behind the candles is fairly subtle, like candles glowing. Of course, for a stronger effect you could use more lights or punch out holes for the lights to shine through!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Hello Sunny Studio friends! It's Juliana and I'm here today to share a card featuring the Sea You Soon Stamp Set. Of course, I couldn't help combining it with the Tropical Scenes Stamp Set to create a fun underwater scene.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sea You Soon Tropical Scenes Stitched Semi-Circle Dies Frilly Frame Dies See You Soon Card by Juliana Michaels

I started by stamping and coloring all the images using Copic Markers. I then die cut them using the coordinating dies. Once this was completed, I moved on to the background. For the background behind the openings I ink blended Distress Ink in Blue Print Sketch and Chipped Saphire on a piece watercolor paper. I then spritzed it with a little water and dabbed it dry to create the “bubbles”.

To create the framed openings, I used the Stitched Semi-Circle Dies. I placed them onto a piece of white cardstock cut to 4.25 x 5.5, using Therm O Web Purple Tape to hold them in place. I then used the stitched outer frame from the Frilly Frames Retro Die to die cut a frame for the entire front panel and to add a little interest and texture to the edge.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sea You Soon Tropical Scenes Stitched Semi-Circle Dies Frilly Frame Dies See You Soon Card by Juliana Michaels

Next, I worked on creating the underwater scene by layering the Tropical Scenes image behind the framed opening and used double sided foam adhesive to pop up the other images for more depth and dimension. To complete the card I added a white heat embossed sentiment from the Sea You Soon Stamp Set on a strip of black cardstock.

I hope you enjoyed this bit of inspiration using the Sea You Soon Stamp Set. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
