The Graduate Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here sharing a card featuring the new The Graduate Stamps set!

For my A2 size card I started with the background panels, I die cut out a pink piece using patterned paper from the Flirty Flowers Paper pack using the largest of the Rounded Rectangle Mat Dies. From white card stock I die cut out the second largest of the Rounded Rectangle Mat Dies, I then die cut out the scene using the Slimline Nature Borders Die set creating the road, grassy area and the sky and ink blended each piece and then adhered the panels to the card base.

Next, I stamped the penguins from the Passionate Penguins Stamp set, the caps and the graduation scrolls from The Graduate stamps set, and the clouds from the Majestic Meadow Stamps set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below.

Copic colors used:

Bow: RW10/11/13
Caps: RW10/11/13, YG:61/63 G94/99, BG:10/11/13

Clouds:C0/1, RV10

I then die cut the images out using the coordinating Passionate Penguins Dies, The Graduate Dies and the Majestic Meadow Dies. I then added foam dots to the back of all die cut pieces for dimension and adhered them to the scene panel.

Lastly, I stamped the big Congrats Grad from The Graduate Stamps set with green ink, die cut it out using the coordinating die from The Graduate Dies set . I added foam dots to the back for dimension and adhered it to the card!

Icing Rectangle Frame Die Focused Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Icing Rectangle Frame Dies.

Cut a top fold white base card and inked up the bottom using Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide inks. Added a piece of pattern paper to the back. Die cut a Kraft rectangle and inked it up using Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain. Chopped off the corners using a corner punch and added a darker piece of cardstock behind it.

Die cut the Icing Rectangle Frame Dies out of white cardstock and adhered it to the "cookie". Heat set the sentiment on some lila cardstock and trimmed it to a banner. Die cut the word "Cookie" out of pink cardstock using the Sydney Alphabet Dies.

Used Copic Colors:
Black - N8, N6, N4, N3, N2
Penguin White - E53, E51, E50
Orange - YR27, YR23, YR21
Purple - BV04, BV02, BV00

Stamped the images Passionate Penguins, Baked with Love and the Kiddie Pool Stamps. Colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them by hand and with the matching Baked with Love and Kiddie Pool Dies.

Inside Greetings Friends Cards with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here and today I am excited to share these adorable friendship cards featuring the Inside Greetings Friends stamp set.

For this card project, I started by die-cutting 6x the Scalloped Square 1 Small from white cardstock, three of which I turned into grassy borders using our Slimline Nature Border dies. I decided to make three different colored cards, blending the insides of the scalloped squares with pastel blue, pink, and green Distress Oxide inks. For the grass borders, I also blended only the inside with green ink. I masked off the edges to achieve this, but honestly, it would be even easier to use Stitched Square Dies and stick them on top (I’ve already added them to my Wishlist!).

Next, I stamped the Inside Greetings Friends sentiment in a shade slightly darker than the background color, then stamped it again 1mm below in black ink to create a little depth.

I layered the grass borders onto the blended scalloped squares, tucking in some flowers from the Bunnyville stamp set behind the grass. From the Gingham Pastels paper, I cut squares slightly larger than the scalloped ones and rounded the corners with a punch before adhering the scalloped squares on top.

For each card, I chose a different cute critter:

On the blue card, the bunnies from Bunnyville stamp set and the Balloon Numbers stamp set, on the pink card, the sweet penguins from the Passionate Penguins stamp set and  on the green card, the adorable foxes from the Foxy Friends stamp set.

Lastly I added the butterflies also from the Bunnyville stamp set and the heart lollipop from the Bighearted Bears stamp set to each card. After coloring all the stamps with Ohuhu markers and adding highlights with a white gel pen, I adhered them onto the card bases and I mounted everything onto white cardstock bases, rounding the corners to match.
