Pretty Pumpkins Card with Tina

Hello crafty friends, it’s Tina and today’s project consists of lots of Pretty Pumpkins! This is a beautiful layering set and I love that the pumpkins come in three sizes. Loads of possibilities for your card designs!

As always, I used the printed sheet on which the stamps come as my guide for placement. For the pumpkins I went with teal, coral, and yellow colors. I used several inks from my stash to get that great dimensional look these stamps provide! The set comes with it’s own leaves but I decided to go for the Autumn Greenery dies which I inked in similar colors. To create that rustic fall look, I added lots of splatters with matching inks and white gouache.

Next, I stamped and die cut the Layered Basket onto a piece of cream paper that I had dry embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder. I took a blending brush to darken the edges of the basket. I wanted to add a scalloped strip using one of the Ribbon And Lace Border dies. This white border was perfect for my sentiment as well (Words Of Gratitude).

I created a white card base and adhered a coral gingham panel (Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace die and Gingham Pastels pad). Next, I added a white border.

Then it was time to assemble the pumpkin scene starting with the basket and working my way up. I used some temporary glue so I could arrange all the elements until I was happy with the design. Lastly, I added the leaves and pumpkin in front of the basket and scattered a few Chrystal Clear Jewels over the entire scene.

Build-A-Birdhouse Cards with Lien and Isha

Hi crafty friends! It's Lien here, with a great way to add some forced perspective on a card using different-sized images.

To get the most out of this forced perspective effect, I started out by creating a little window or frame for my scene. I die-cut one of the Scalloped Oval Mat 1 Dies from the center of some cream cardstock. This is cut slightly smaller than an A2 card so I'd have a nice margin all around in the end. My background is made from a very pale blue cardstock and I added a little bit of ink blending at the top to darken it up and add some more depth.

 

I propped my frame piece up on foam tape and then assembled two birdhouses from the fun Build-A-Birdhouse dies and also put the two birds together, setting those aside for later. I adhered to the birdhouses in the frame. I also cut the Autumn Tree die from brown cardstock, I'm just going to use the branches and some of the small leaves, tucking the branches underneath the frame. Using a jewel picker it's easy to add all the small leaves and to add more color I also added some tiny flowers on the branches. These flower dies are included in the Wonderful Windows dies. 

 

Because the birdhouses and the branches are quite small, the scene looks to be pretty far away. However, there's no real perspective on a card like this, in the end, these could just be small elements on a card. To force the perspective, to make the things inside the window look small and far away, add something outside of the window that is noticeably larger. A great element to do that with on this card would be some flowers or leaves. I opted for the leaves, using the Autumn Greenery dies to create some larger leaves for the outside of the window.

Hello everyone! Isha here today with an adorable thanks card featuring the Build-A-Birdhouse dies. Past few weeks I have been using pastel colors on my cards and as you know me I love colors, so for this card, I went with some bold colors.

I started by creating the background using various colors of Distress inks. Sponged them by keeping the darker colors to the edges. Flick, black and white paint to the panel. Adhere the panel to a white card base. Stamp the tree branch from the Little Birdie stamp set, color, and die-cut using the coordinating dies.

Die-cut the images from white cardstock using the Build-A-Birdhouse dies. Color the images using Copic markers. Adhere to various layers to finish the images. Adhere all the images to the card. Stamp the word thanks from the Big Bold Greetings stamp set onto a black card using Versamark ink. Sprinkle WOW! opaque white embossing powder. Heat set. Die-cut using the coordinating dies. Adhere the word to the card. 

Add Nuvo crystal glaze to some of the elements and the card is ready. Thank you for dropping by!

Garden Critters Cards with Catherine and Marie

Hello Crafty Friends! Catherine here, it’s February 1^st and Valentine’s Day is just two weeks away!  I created a Valentine’s Day card with some of the cute bees from Garden Critters Stamps which coordinated nicely with Just Bee-Cause Stamps.

To start, I ink blended a piece of A2 white cardstock with Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, and Festive Berries Distress Oxide.  Next I die cut the beautiful Bursting Heart Die out of white cardstock and adhered it onto the background. I ink blended some of the white hearts from the Bursting Heart Die with Festive Berries Distress Oxide and adhered the hearts onto the background.

I stamped and die cut the bees from Garden Critters Stamps and the bees and bee hive from Just Bee-Cause Stamps and die cut the images with coordinating dies. I added some “heart” branches from Love Monkey Stamps and I colored all the images with Copic Markers listed in my blog link below.

For the sentiment, I ink blended Festive Berries and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide onto white cardstock and I trimmed the banner with my paper cutter. I white heat embossed the sentiment from Just Bee-Cause Stamps. I finished off the card with the word “Bee” using the new Hayley Uppercase Alphabet Dies and Hayley Lowercase Alphabet Dies ink blended with Festive Berries Distress Oxide.

Hello Crafty Friends, Marie here! I am happy to be back on the blog sharing a new card! For many people across different cultures, ladybugs, grasshoppers, dragonflies, and even bees are a symbol of good luck, good fortune, and prosperity so I decided to create a Good Luck card featuring the Garden Critters Stamp. This card is perfect for anyone who needs some warm encouragement! 

To create this card, I first start by die cutting an A2 sized panel from Neenah Solar white 110 lb cardstock paper. I then used the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace Die to cut a super cute scalloped panel from the new Spring Fever Paper. I then attached the pattern paper to the white panel using some double sided tape adhesive. 

To create the leafy wreath I used a single leaf die from the Autumn Greenery Dies. I ink blended all my leaves using Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks. For my "good Luck" sentiment, I used the new Hayley Lowercase Alphabet Dies. 

Next, I stamped all the garden critters onto watercolor paper using Distress Ink in the color Antique Linen. I then watercolor all my images using Faber- Castell watercolor Pencils. Finally, I used the corresponding Garden Critters Dies to  cut out all the images. 

To complete my card, I die cut an oval from Translucent Vellum paper and adhered it to the center of my pattern paper. I layered all the leaves around the vellum  to create a wreath. I adhered the leaves using double sided tape adhesive and foam tape to add some dimension. Next, I added the garden critters using some Bearly Art Precision Craft glue and foam tape. Lastly, I adhered the sentiment and added some spare die cut hearts as a finishing touch.

Snow One Like You Cards with Marie and Alma

Hello Crafty Friends, Marie here with you! Can you even believe that it's November?? Time is just flying by so super fast these days and before you know it, Christmas will be here! I have been slowly building up my Holiday card stash trying very hard to avoid the last minute stressful card making rush like years past. Among the cards I will be sending out this year is this sweet and festive Christmas Card featuring the oh so sweet Snow One Like You stamps! I also used the Autumn Greenery Dies to create a lush festive Christmas tree perfect for my vintage vibe scene.

I started off my card by stamping my Snow One Like You image onto watercolor paper using Antique Linen Distress Ink. I colored my image using Derwent Inktense Water Soluble Pencils. Using the Snow One Like You Dies I cut out my image. 

I then die cut a bunch of leaves using the 2 main rounded edged leaves from the Autumn Greenery Dies.  After cutting out all my leaves from bristol smooth cardstock, I inked them up using Distress Inks in the Colors "Mowed Lawn", "Rustic Wilderness", and "Uncharted Mariner."  My next step was to die cut my sturdy base panel from 110 lb Neenah Solar White heavyweight cardstock. I then use the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace Die to die cut my background from kraft paper. Then taking some watered down white acrylic paint, I splattered my kraft paper and my leaves for some fun snow-like texture.

After paint splattering, I adhered the scalloped kraft paper onto my white cardstock using double sided tape adhesive. I then adhered the leaves to create my Christmas tree using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue. I embellished my tree by adding some red Christmas bling using Sunny Studio's Red Zircon Jewels. I then added my cute image using some double sided foam strips for added dimension. To finish off my card, I added the sentiment from the Snowman Kisses Stamps which really worked so well with the adorable image and scene!

It's Alma here and today I want to show you a happy shaker card with the amazing Snow One Like You Stamps. I colored the stamps with Copics and die-cutted the image with the Snow One Like You Dies. Then I colored a night sky with the Copic Markers in a lot of shades of Violet and Blue. I used the colors BV66 BV63 and BV60 and RV95, RV93 and RV91. After that I added some snowflake dots with the white gel pen.

After that I cut a rectangle card and die-cutted a window with the Stitched Arch Dies and designed a snow landscape with the Slimline Nature Borders and tree from the Happy Camper Dies.

Finally I glued all together and added the Pure White Jewels to create a wonderful winter wonderland shaker card. Thank you so much for joining us today.

Squirrel Friends Cards with Marie and Alma

Hello Crafty Friends! Marie here. Happy to be back on the blog for more card making inspiration! Today I am sharing a friendship card starring my favorite little happy squirrels from the Squirrel Friends stamp set. I also created some gorgeous leaves using the Autumn Greenery dies  - both products are from Sunny Studio Stamps recent Fall/Winter 2022 Release. 

I started off with adhering a pink A2 sized smooth cardstock paper onto an A2 sized sturdy 110lb Neenah Solar white cardstock. Using Sunny Studio's Woodgrain embossing folder, I created a beautiful wood grain background. I then cut a heart shape out of  Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I used Distress Ink Oxide in the color Saltwater Taffy for the inside of my heart. I then die cut leaves from the Autumn Greenery dies and the smaller leaves are from the Out on A Limb dies. I inked my leaves using Distress Ink in Cracked Pistachio. 

I stamped my adorable Squirrel images using Distress Ink in the Color Antique Linen, and watercolored them using Derwent Inktense Pencils. I felt like my card needed a frame so I die cut a white Scallop frame using the Fancy Frame Rectangle dies. 

I love the stitched detailing on the scallop frame so much that I decided to take the smaller of the 2 frames included in the Fancy Frame Rectangles and used it on the inside of my card to frame my sentiment. For the word "Nutty" I used the Loopy Letters dies. 

After putting together my inside sentiment, I scored the top of the inside panel and attached it to my card front panel. I glued all my images and die cuts using a combination of Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue and double sided foam tape.

Hi dear ones, Alma here. Autumn is slowly arriving and I love it when the leaves rustle and fall. Today I want to show you a card with the cute Squirrel Friends Stamps.

I coloured them and cut them out with the Squirrel Friends Dies. I love the tree stump. Isn't that a perfect storage for the acorns? Then I cut a rectangular card and coloured it with Distress Oxide Inks Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron and sprinkled with water. Then I cut out a second beige cardstock and punched out a window with the Stitched Arch Dies.

After that I stamped the text. Then I glued everything together and added the grass from the Slimline Nature Border Dies. Finally, I punched out the leaves from the Autumn Greenery Dies set and coloured them with Copics. Finished!!!!
