Woolly Friends Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing this Easter card featuring the new Woolly Friends stamp set.  

For this card, I started by creating a soft background on watercolor paper, painting a few gentle patches with watercolor. While that was drying, I die-cut the Wicker Basket dies twice, once from light brown cardstock and once from dark brown, to layer behind the light one for added depth. I also die-cut a Mini Grass Border to place between the path and the fence in the background, as well as some small tufts of grass from the Wicker Basket dies, which I blended with green ink.

Next came the stamping. I created the background by stamping the fence from the Woolly Friends stamp set and the stone floor from the Sprawling Surfaces stamp set, then colored them and adhered them to the (now) dry watercolor background.

Now it was time to fill the basket. I chose two adorable sheep from the Woolly Friends set, adding bows around their ears and necks, and give one a little easter egg basket to make them even cuter.  Then I filled the basket further with flowers from the Spring Garland stamp set, as well as Easter eggs from the Bunnyville and Woolly Friends stamp sets to complete the easter scene.

Finally, I adhered everything to the card base and stamped the large Easter sentiment also from the Bunnyville stamp set in green onto the background for the finishing touch.

Cruisin' Cuisine Food Truck Cards with Mendi

Hello and welcome! This is Mendi here today, popping in to share some fun food truck cards for Summer using our Cruisin' Cuisine Stamps.

For my first card showcasing the Cruisin' Cuisine Stamps, I turned my truck into a "burger bus," using the mustard & ketchup bottles and small words to personalize the truck. Along the bottom "front" portion of my scene, I added a pair of bears using our Big Panda Stamps, giving them french fries and a soda to hold from our Fast Food Fun Stamps. For the scenery behind my truck, I added a grassy edge using our Mini Grass Border Dies and some stitched Fluffy Cloud Dies to the sky.

I ran out of a prominent spot to squeeze in a fun greeting on the outside of my card, so I added one to the inside instead, adding another burger and fries from the Cruisin' Cuisine Stamps with the punny greeting from our Fast Food Fun Stamps.

My second card pairs our Big Bunny Stamps with the donut and food truck from our Cruisin' Cuisine Stamps. I love how all the foods that go on the top of the truck can also mix and match with our other food images and are the perfect size for our big critters to hold in the foreground. To fill out the scene behind my donut truck, I added a city using our Cityscape Border Dies, a grass border strip cut from green cardstock, and the two trees from our Charming City Stamps. Lastly, I stamped the punny donut greeting using a sentiment from our Breakfast Puns Stamps.

Majestic Meadow Card with Leanne

Hi there! Leanne here today. I'm sharing a colorful spring scene card. This scene came together nicely with some images from the new Majestic Meadow stamp set. This stamp set creates an entire scene which you can use as is or use the coordinating Majestic Meadow dies to cut out specific parts of the scene which what I have done. 

I have used the tulips, the big tree, and the bird images from the set to create an A2 sized scene. First I ink blended a blue sky onto my card base. Next I Copic colored the images I wanted to use. I also used a bunny and butterfly images from the Bunnyville stamp set. I used the coordinating dies to cut out my colored images. 

Copic colors used: RV10, RV04, YR02, YR14, YG11, YG17, Y11, Y15, R00, R20, B21, B23, E41, E43, W01, W04, E51

I added a die cut Mini Grass Border to the bottom edge of the card front. Then I tucked the tulips under the grass. I added the tree to the right corner and trimmed off the extra. Next I adhered the bunny, birds, and butterflies to the scene with thin foam squares. Lastly I added the greeting in the open sky space. I used the Chloe Alphabet dies for the "hello"

Wood Barrel Die Focused Card with Tina

Hello crafters, it’s Tina and today I am creating a colorful Fall themed card using the beautiful Wood Barrel Die. I wanted to use some non-traditional hues and I knew that idea would match perfectly with the fun layering dies from Pumpkin Patch. I love that you get three different shaped and sized pumpkins with this set.

Starting with a white square card base, I added a layer of dark pink by ink blending the edge of a white panel cut with the largest of the Scallopped Square 1 Small Dies. Next, I created another white panel slightly smaller with one of the Stitched Square Dies which was embellished by using the Dotted Diamond Portrait die.

After creating all the layers of the pumpkins, the leaves (Pumpkin Patch), two grass borders (Mini Grass Border) and barrel (Wood Barrel Die), I put all the pieces on a grip mat and started blending with several ink color from my stash, I went with yellow, pink and teal blue shades.

Now it was time to put the card together! I first added the grass borders to the white panel. I added foam tape to the lower one so I could tuck the barrel between the two borders. Next, I started playing with the positioning of all the pumpkins and leaves. I like to use repositionable tape for this!

For this bold Fall scene, I selected a combined sentiment consisting of the big Wishes Word Die and the smaller ‘Autumn’ banner (Fall Kiddos).

I love finishing a card with some embellishments and today I chose some sparkling ones from the beautiful Iridescent Jewels. Thank you for joining me and I am looking forward to seeing your gorgeous creations with this fun rustic barrel die! Happy crafting!
