Beautiful Bluebells Card with Tammy

Hello friends! Tammy here with another Easter themed card, featuring the lovely Beautiful Bluebells stamp! I love how fun and easy it is to layer this stamp set to create a beautiful bouquet of bluebells!

To begin, I stamped the bluebells from Beautiful Bluebells using a variety of blue and green inks (for the stems), then die cut with the Beautiful Bluebells Dies. I then cut a basket from kraft cardstock using the Wicker Basket Dies. I inked the edges of the basket with brown ink and added some details with Copic markers. I arranged the bluebells and tucked into the basket, securing them with tape on the backside of the basket.

I stamped the bunny and bow from Big Bunny, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Big Bunny Dies. 

Next, I cut a piece of Spring Fever paper to a 5 inch square to create the card background. I then die cut white scalloped frames using the Fancy Frames Square Dies. I die cut a grassy border using the Mini Grass Border from Bristol cardstock and ink blended with Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide inks. I attached the grassy border to the patterned paper, then attached the frames using foam tape for dimension.

I then arranged the bunny and basket onto my card, adhering with foam tape. Lastly, I die cut a lavender banner using the Brilliant Banner 1 Dies, then stamped the sentiment from both Big Bunny and Holiday Hugs stamp, attaching with foam tape for dimension to complete my card!

Wicker Basket Die Focused Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here and since Spring is in the air I made another Easter card with the cute Wicker Basket Die. Not the traditional wooden look this time but a colorful flower one filled with pastel eggs!

For my background I cut a panel from white cardstock with the outer die from the Frilly Frames Stripes Die. I used some blue ink from my stash for some fun splatter. Next I added even more texture to this piece with the beautiful Dotted Diamond Portrait Die. The grass portion of the scene is build with two layers and I used both of the Mini Grass Borders Dies. In search of a green that would match the leaves in my pattern paper for the basket I went with a mix of Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide. Of course, these pieces needed some splatters too!

Starting with a white card base I glued the dotted panel and the biggest grass border with liquid glue, the second grass border was popped up with foam tape. The Wicker Basket Die set comes with all the pieces you need for the perfect Easter hamper. For the basket I choose a beautiful floral pattern from Spring Fever. This was my inspiration for the color scheme of this card. The handle and part of the bow were cut from a blue gingham sheet (Gingham Pastel). Soft blue, pink and yellow pastel eggs were splattered and coated with some Stickles Glitter Glue for a ‘sugar coated effect’!

Most of my cards include critters and today three cuties from Chickie Baby are searching for the Easter Eggs! And they have found a lot already! All the coloring was done with my Copics in happy colors that would match my color theme.

I mounted the basket and bow to the background panel and added the Easter eggs, then it was time to scatter the chickies in and around the hamper. The sentiment was selected from the Big Bunny set and added to the grass border. A few soft blue Pastel Jewels were the perfect embellishment for this project.

Mini Grass Border Die Focused Card with Nicky

Hello this is Nicky with you today on the Sunny Studio blog and I have a new Easter card for you that features the Mini Grass Border Die.

This is a 5 1/2 inch square card and I started by creating a pink panel in that size and glueing it to my card base. I then created a smaller white panel which I masked and ink blended in pink to create the sky and I stamped the bold sentiment from Chickie Baby. I removed the mask, die cut the Fancy Frames Square Dies, backed it with foam tape and applied. This whole decorative panel was backed with white craft foam and applied to the main panel.

Using the Mini Grass Border Die I created two little 'hills' and I ink blended these in green and I glued the larger one directly within the frame and with the smaller second one I added ScorPal tape around the left, bottom and right hand side and applied within the frame.

I used Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa to stamp the Chickie Baby images and I coloured with the following Copic marker combinations:

Chickies - YR00, E51, E50, YR07
Blushes - R22, R20, R00
Basket - E44, E31, E41
Mint - BG11, G000, G0000
Pink - V01, RV00, RV000
White - C1, C00
Shading - W2, W0

Images were die cut using the Chickie Baby Dies and applied to the scene with foam tape and I tucked the wicker basket slightly behind the slower grass slope which is why I left it unglued at the top edge. I completed the card with the simple addition of some white highlights and daisy dots in the grass using a white gel pen.

Big Bunny Card with Tammy

Hello friends! Tammy here with an Easter themed project, featuring one of my all time favorite stamp sets, Big Bunny.

To make the card, I started by cutting pink patterned paper from the Spring Fling Paper to an A2 size. I then die cut a window using the largest die from the Stitched Arch Dies, and adhering to a panel of Bristol smooth cardstock (that was inked with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide in) with foam tape. Using the Mini Grass Border Dies, I die cut a grassy border from the Spring Fling Paper, and attached it to the bottom of the arch with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the images from the Big Bunny Stamp, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Big Bunny Dies. I attached the Big Bunny images to the arch opening with foam tape for dimension, then attached the sentiment, that was stamped in Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink. Lastly, I added a white frame, die cut twice using the Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies , stacking them together and attaching to the front of my card to finish!

I had so much fun creating little shaped cards for Valentine's day, I had to create another for Easter! To begin, I stamped the images from the Big Bunny Stamp, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Big Bunny Dies. Next, I created the mini card by scoring a piece of white cardstock in half, then placed the Big Bunny Die just slightly over the edge of the fold and ran it through my die cut machine. I then glued the colored bunny image to the front of the mini card.

Using the Gift Card Envelope Dies, I die cut a little floral envelope from the Spring Fling Paper. I stamped the sentiment from Big Bunny in lavender ink and attached them to the front of the gift card envelopes with foam tape to complete my project!

Wicker Basket Die Focused Card with Nicky

Hi! This is Nicky back with you today on the Sunny Studio blog and I'm sharing an Easter card featuring the Wicker Basket Die.

I ink blended a white A2 panel of cardstock with pale blue ink to create a super soft focal point and backdrop, then I used the Mini Grass Border Die and another A2 panel of cardstock and die cut two grass edges, one is bigger than the other. I ink blended these in a minty green ink and glued the larger one to the background and with the smaller one I used ScorPal tape around the left, right and bottom edge and adhered it down.

Using more white cardstock I die cut the components of the Wicker Basket Die and I ink blended using pastel inks to shade the basket and colour the eggs, bows and flowers. The basket was backed with foam tape and slightly inserted inside/behind the smaller grass portion. I added the Easter eggs backing them with more foam tape, glued the bows on and arranged the flowers in the grass.

Images from Bunnyville were stamped with Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and coloured with the following combinations of Copic markers:

Bunnies - E31, E41, R22, R20, R00
Butterflies - Y00, Y0000, W1, W0
I also used W4, W2, W0 to add shading to the bows

Images were die cut with the Bunnyville Dies and added with foam tape and then to finish things up I stamped the sentiments and adhered with foam tape and I highlighted those rosy bunny cheeks with a white gel pen.

Spring Garden Die Focused Tags with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here with you today, I'm back with a trio of tags featuring Spring Garden, which includes the perfect dies to create lovely scenes during springtime. Really love that set!

I started off by cutting different Scalloped Square Tags panels to build my tags:

• three blue tags using floral pattern papers from Spring Fever and from Spring Fling

• three green tags using a grass pattern paper from Spring Fever

• three white tags, to make the back of my tags nice

I cut a Mini Grass Border out of each grassy tag, and attached a grass border at the bottom of each blue floral tag using 1mm foam squares. And then I stuck each blue tag on a white one. I also cut three Picket Fences that I attached on each tag.

Next I cut all the bits and pieces out of colored cardstock using Spring Garden dies for most of them, but also used the bird from Build A Birdhouse, the boots from Rainy Days, and the low plant box from Wonderful Windows. I assembled all those cute pieces, and attached them on each tag using foam squares.

For my greetings, I started off by cutting three Brilliant Banners 1 bases out of different colored cardstock. I also cut the front pieces out of Dots & Stripes Pastels pattern papers, white heat embossed "Hello spring" from Chubby Bunny on each piece, and attached those banner front pieces on the banner bases using 1mm foam squares. I attached a banner on each tag, tied some ribbon and twine at the top of each tag, and added a small black pearl on each bird to make the eye.

Mini Grass Border Die Focused Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here and today we are creating a sweet Easter card featuring the Mini Grass Border dies. I combined these products with the adorable Big Bunny stamp and die set.

Starting with a white card base I added a bright orange polka dot paper from Spring Fever that was cut with the border of the Frilly Frames Stripes die. I used that same die combined with the Mini Grass Border dies to create two grassy hills from a green sheet of the same paper pad (Spring Fever).

To complete the background scene, I pulled the largest of the Stitched Semi Circle dies and inked this piece with Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade. I adhered the background pieces to the card base with liquid glue and added the two grass borders with some foam tape.

For this card I mixed and matched the cute bunny with the Easter basket (Big Bunny stamp) with three big carrots from Bunnyville. I love how all these elements work so well together. All the coloring was done with my Copic markers in happy colors that would match my background elements.

Next, I tucked the bunny in the grass border and noticed that the handle of the handle of the Easter basket was too high for this design. So, I just cut it off and the basket still looks adorable! I added all my elements to the background adding dimension where needed.

The sentiment was selected from the Happy Thoughts set and stamped onto a small white strip with Versafine Onyx Black ink. To complete this fun project, I sprinkled a few Crystal Clear Jewels onto the card.
