Holiday Tags & Labels Card with Yan

Hey crafty friends! It's Yan here, and I'm so excited to share a cozy holiday card that got me right into the festive spirit! Today, I’m playing with the adorable Holiday Tags & Labels Stamps from Sunny Studio Stamps' brand-new release. This project came together so smoothly, and mixing it with a few sweet hedgehogs made it absolute fun to create. Grab a warm cup of coffee, and let's dive into how I made it!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Holiday Tags & Labels and Quill Cuties Christmas Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Holiday Greetings, Icing Rectangle Frame Dies)

To kick things off, I stamped the tag frame from the Holiday Tags & Labels Stamps using a couple of bright red inks to give them a festive pop. Then, I directly stamped those darling hedgehogs from the Quill Cuties Stamps right inside the frames using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Coloring these little critters with Copic markers is always my favorite part—I added warm browns and sweet pinks to give them lots of personality! Once I finished coloring, I lined up the coordinating Holiday Tags & Labels Dies and cut them out.

COPIC COLORS:
Hedgehogs: E18, E31, E35, E41, R30
Red/Pink : R30, R32 R43
Green: YG03, YG17, G19

Next, I die-cut a few additional ornament bases out of bold red cardstock and delicate vellum paper using the Holiday Tags & Labels Dies. For the background, I wanted to keep things clean and soft, so I used the Icing Rectangle Frame Dies to cut a crisp panel from the Subtle Grey Tones 6x6 Paper.

For the sentiment, I heat-embossed the greeting from the Holiday Greetings Stamps in crisp white embossing powder onto a strip of vellum paper and die-cut it with the matching die. Finally, I assembled all the cute layers, Christmas ornaments, and sentiment using foam tape to give the whole layout plenty of fun dimension and depth!

I hope this card brings a little warmth and festive cheer to your day! Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting!

The Graduate Card with Tina H

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here and for all the grads in your life, we got you covered with the cute The Graduate stamp and die set!

Sunny Studio Stamps: The Graduate & Quill Cuties Graduation Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Dotted Diamond Landscape Dies, Frilly Frames Polka-Dot Dies, Scalloped Square Tag Dies)

Let’s start with our card base which is made from a bright blue paper from my stash. My next layer is a white piece cut with the outer die from the Frilly Frames Polka-Dots. As extra detail, I embossed this panel with the Dotted Diamond Landscape die. I love adding these small steps which truly elevate a card!

My next product, the Scalloped Square Tag dies will become one of my favourites, I just got it and I already think it’s so cute and versatile! It’s the perfect size to frame smaller scenes! For this piece, I used a beautiful blue paper from Gingham Pastels.

My graduate is just the sweetest hedgehog from Quill Cuties, he looks adorable with his little cap and diploma (The Graduate). To complete the scene, I added a pile of books (Grad Cat) for him to sit on. All the coloring was done with my Copics and I added sparkly gold details with a gel pen.

I used one of the sentiments from The Graduate set and I love that it comes with a matching die! (Versafine Onyx Black ink). To embellish my square tag, I added a little blue bow (Wicker Basket). Of course, I needed some bling too, this time I went with the Champagne Clear Jewels.

I hope to see all your sweet grad cards with this sweet set! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!

Afternoon Tea Gift Bag with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a project that I made using the Afternoon Tea Stamps

Sunny Studio Stamps: Afternoon Tea & Quill Cuties Gift Bag by Marieke Slaats

When I saw the Afternoon Tea Stamps I straight away knew I wanted to create something else then a card. These stamps scream teabag gifting so that is what I did. I made a small gift that can contain up to six teabags.

So for the bag you need the following pieces of cardstock and pattern paper:
2x 3 x 6 1/2 inch white strips of cardstock
7x rectangles 2 x 3 inch of pink cardstock
1x rectangle 2 x 3 inch of pattern paper
2x strips 4 x 6 inch of pattern paper

Score the white strips of cardstock at 5 inch, and chop both of the top corners. Pierce a hole in the middle and glue them together on the 1.5 inch part. For the front part add a piece of pink cardstock and the pattern paper rectangle. For my project I used the Rainbow Bright Paper pad.

Stamped the sentiment out of the Afternoon Tea to the front of the gift using a pink ink. To create the inside of the gift I scored both pattern paper pieces on 1/2 inch to create an accordion fold. Adhered the pink cardstock rectangles in every fold. And glued them on the inside of the base. Filled them up with teabags and finished it off with some twine.

Used Copic Colors:
Quill - E55, E53, E51, E50 / R21, R00 / E79, E77, E74
White / Silver - C5, C3, C1, C00, 0
Green - YG67, YG63, YG03
Soft Pink - R85, R83, R81
Hard Pink - RV17, RV14
Yellow - Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11
Blue - B02, B00, B000, 0

Stamped the images out of Afternoon Tea and Quill Cuties colored them up using my Copic markers. Cut them using the matching Afternoon Tea and Quill Cuties Dies. Finished off by adding some Wink of Stella glitter to the "Diamond" and the hearts.

Have a wonderful day!

Designer's Choice: Quill Cuties Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here! Today I’m sharing a card featuring my favorite hedgehog from the Quill Cuties Stamps and the Woodgrain Embossing Folder!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Quill Cuties Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Vintage Valentine)

I stamped three of the cute hedgehog with hearts on a string from the Quill Cuties Stamps set, three of the envelopes, three of the notecards and three of the hearts from the Vintage Valentine Stamps set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below. I then die cut the images using the coordinating Quill Cuties Diesand the Vintage Valentine Dies.

Copic colors used:
Hedgehogs: N3/4/5/6, W0/1/3, R00/30/32
Envelopes: B000/0000, 0
Hearts: R22/35/37

Next, I trimmed a piece of light blue card stock from my stash to 3,75 x 5 inches, placed it inside the Woodgrain embossing folder, applied darker blue ink inside the folder on the opposite side of the panel, closed the embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine to create a nice tone on tone blue woodgrain texture.

I then trimmed a piece of black cardstock for a frame to go behind my woodgrain panel and adhered them to my white A2 size card base, using double sided tape.

I tucked the note cards and the hedgehogs into the envelopes securing them with scotch tape on the back. I added foam dots to the back of the envelopes and adhered them to the woodgrain panel.

I used the hugs die from the Scalloped Oval Mat 3 Dies set, die cut three pieces from black card stock and glued them together for dimension using liquid glue.
Lastly, I adhered the hugs and the three hearts to the woodgrain panel using liquid glue!

Thank you for stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and colorful day!

Next, I ink blended the “wall” part of the Zig Zag Circle using turquoise ink and then stamped the sentiment, also from the Quill Cuties StampsI added foam dots to the back of my die cut pieces and adhered them to the Zig Zag Circle.

I trimmed a piece of turquoise Polka-dot Parade paper to 4,25 x 5,5 inches to cover my A2 size card base. Next, I trimmed a piece of white card stock 3,5 x 5,5 inches and a piece of red card stock 3,25 x 5,5 adhering them together on the polka dot card base. I added foam dots to the back of the Zig Zag Circle and adhered it to the center of the red panel.

Hi there! Tina M here! Today I have a fun rainbow card for you using the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Speech Bubbles Extras & Quill Cuties Birthday Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Sprawling Surfaces)

I started by stamping the cute hedgehogs, hearts, gift boxes and party hats from the Quill Cuties Stamp set and the wooden floor from the Sprawling Surfaces Stamp set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below. I then die cut the images out using the coordinating Quill Cuties dies and trimmed the wooden floor piece to 1 x 5 inches.

Copic colors used:
Hedgehogs: W0/1/3/5/7, R00/30/32
Large gift box: BG01/02/05, RV52/55/66
Hearts: R22/35/37

Small gift boxes: Y15/17, BG01/02 and RV52/55 and YG03/17
Wooden floor: E21/23/25

Next, I trimmed a piece of white card stock to 5 x 3,75 inches, and ink blended a rainbow panel using pink, orange, yellow, green and turquoise ink. I then adhered my floor piece to the bottom of the panel.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Speech Bubbles Extras & Quill Cuties Birthday Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Sprawling Surfaces)

Using three of the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies I ran them with the rainbow panel through my die cutting machine.  I then stamped my greetings from the Vintage Valentine Stamps, and the Quill Cuties Stamps set on the rainbow speech bubbles. I also die cut three extras of each of the speech bubbles from black card stock, and glued them all together for dimension.

I trimmed a piece of pink Polka-dot Parade Paper to 4,25 x 5,5 inches to cover my A2 size card base. Next, I trimmed a piece of black cardstock for a frame to go behind my rainbow panel and adhered them to the card base, using double sided tape.

To get a shadow effect, I placed the speech bubbles a little to the left and slightly up letting the black card stock underneath peek through. I added foam dots to the back of the hedgehogs and the gifts for dimension and adhered them to the card.

Thank you for stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and colorful day!
