Treat Bag Topper Gift with Cathy

Hey friends! Cathy here today sharing a fun Valentine's gift using the Treat Bag Topper Dies. These dies are perfect for any occasion and add such a great touch to a little gift!

I started by die-cutting the topper from white cardstock and then die-cutting it with the Dotted Diamond Landscape Die for a little texture. Since I chose a panda in my little scene, I die-cut the topper again from black cardstock and overlapped/adhered the white and black toppers together.

Next, I die-cut the stitched rectangle in the dies from cream cardstock and inked it lightly with Saltwater Taffy Distress ink. I also splattered a little watered down white and black paints with a fan brush. I then stamped the cobblestone stamp from the Sprawling Surfaces Stamps on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock and colored it with Copics. I used the same stitched rectangle die and die-cut the top portion of the stamp. I used scissors and cut along the top edge of the cobblestone and adhered it to the bottom of the cream stitched rectangle.

Next, I stamped the panda, truck, hearts and heart balloons on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock, colored them with Copics and die-cut them using the coordinating dies.

I used the following stamps/dies:
Bighearted Bears Stamps/Dies (heart balloons)

Balloon Rides Stamps/Dies (panda)

Truckloads of Love Stamps/Dies

 

I adhered the heart balloons to the treat bag topper first and then adhered the stitched rectangle with the truck. I heat embossed small sentiments from the Truckloads of Love Stamps and Panda Party Stamps on pink cardstock with white embossing powder and hand cut around them. I die-cut the "love" sentiment using the Loopy Letters Dies from black and white cardstock and layered them together.

 

The Treat Bag Topper Dies are sized perfectly to fit the top of a cellophane treat bag, but I decided to make an outer sleeve to go over a cellophane bag. This allowed the treat bag to stand upright with candy inside. To make this, I cut a piece of kraft cardstock 4" x 11" and scored it on the 11" side at 4 3/4" and 6 1/4". I then die-cut one end of the cardstock using the Dotted Diamond Landscape Die to match the topper.

I created a window to see the treats inside by die-cutting the cardstock 3/4" up from the score line using the second largest Stitched Heart 2 Dies. To get a scalloped heart border around the opening, I die-cut a piece of pink cardstock using the second largest Scalloped Heart Dies and then die-cut it using the second largest Stitched Heart 2 Dies. I then adhered the scalloped frame around the opening.

 

To finish, I filled a cellophane treat bag with some candy, set it inside the folded kraft cardstock piece and stapled it at the top.  I then adhered my treat bag topper to the top of the kraft cardstock.

Truckloads of Love Card with Tina

Hello crafters, it’s Tina and today I am featuring the sweet Truckloads of Love stamp and die set again. But this time we go holiday themed. I love that this set is so versatile, it can be used all year round. And how cute are the critters!!

For this festive card I selected one of the ornament dies from my stash and cut it from white Neenah paper. You can create this shape yourself with any circle die you have and a rectangle for the topper. The scalloped edge can be achieved with several dies like the Ribbon & Lace Border Dies. I inked the inside of the ornament with pink Distress Oxide inks Kitsch Flamingo and Worn Lipstick, leaving the bottom part white. Of course, I had to add splatters too!

Since this is a winter Holiday card, I wanted to replicate a snowy, frosty look around the borders of the ornament. First, I glued the pink panel into place and added an acetate layer on top. Next, I added the white circle border with topper. I searched through my stash to find a white pigment ink, which I then applied all around the borders of the circle with a small blending brush. This also gave me an indication of how wide I wanted my frosty border to be. Next, I used a glue bottle with a fine tip and glue that dries clear. Then it was time for the fun part: adding all the sparkly glitter (I use a dedicated box for this, if not my desk is a real mess!!).

While the glue was drying, I selected my images from the Truckloads of Love stamp set. I chose the truck, the Christmas tree, and the cute raccoon. All the coloring was done with Copic Markers, and I added some snowflakes with a white gel pen.

The large Merry Christmas sentiment was stamped with red ink from my stash and cut with the matching dies (Holiday Greetings stamp and die set). I mounted the images and sentiment onto the ornament shape with foam tape. The topper was cut from white glitter paper, and I added a little pink bow to make the card extra festive!

Truckloads of Love Card with Bobbi

Hi friends. It’s Bobbi here with a card for the holidays. I’m using a super cute set called, Truckloads of Love  stamps and dies. I’m also using the Scenic Route stamps and dies for the background. For the sky, I used a piece of gray and white pattern paper from the Joyful Holiday paper pack.

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I stamped the snow hills and the line of houses on white cardstock. I colored the background  using grays, light blue-violets, and soft blues for shading on the snowy landscape. The shadows add interest and depth to the scene. I kept the row of houses in blacks/grays and only added color to the doors and windows. I wanted to keep the background simple and not distracting from the brightly colored truck in the foreground.

I stamped, die cut and colored the truck in bright colors. I added the presents and the tree to the truck bed and added a little fox in the driver’s seat, too. The truck was attached to the background using foam dots to make it stand out. I shadowed under the truck using Copics in BV000, C1, and C3. Lastly, I added a sentiment from the set, “Truckloads of holiday wishes.”

Truckloads of Love Card with Isha

Hello everyone! Isha here with a fun winter scene featuring the Truckloads of Love stamps and coordinating dies. I love happy and cheerful colors for my winter cards hence the color combo.

Die-cut a white panel using the Stitched Rectangle dies. Sponge picked raspberry, spiced marmalade distress oxide inks to create the sky. Next I die-cut the snow bank using the Slimline Nature Border dies. Sponge evergreen bough oxide ink. Adhere to the panel.

Stamp the images from the Truckloads of Love, color using copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Stamp the snowman from Feeling Frosty stamp, color and die-cut using the coordinating dies. 

Flick white paint to the panel. Die-cut the snowflakes from the Lacy Snowflakes dies, using glitter cardstock. Adhere the panel to a white cardstock. Adhere the images. Stamp the sentiment to finish the card. Thank you for dropping by and have a nice day!
