Harvest Mice & Truckloads of Love Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today with a clean and simple autumn themed card featuring the adorable Harvest Mice and Truckloads of Love sets. Pumpkin season is just around the corner and these super mice are all excited for it.

I started by creating the background. I took a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock and masked off the bottom portion of the panel. I ink blended the top of the panel with Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide inks. I stamped the "pumpkin kisses & harvest wishes" sentiment from the Harvest Mice Stamp set directly onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Once the panel was dry, I trimmed a slim border off all sides of the panel.

I stamped the images from the Harvest Mice Stamp, a mouse image from the Beach Bus Stamp and the truck from Truckloads of Love Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Harvest Mice Dies, Beach Bus Dies and Truckloads of Love Dies to diecut them out. I colored them with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

I colored images onto the inked panel with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. A piece of craft foam was adhered to the back of the panel before it was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").

Harvest Mice & Fall Friends Cards with Mendi

Hello and welcome! This is Mendi here today, popping in to share some fall cards featuring our Fall Friends Stamps and Harvest Mice Stamps.

My first card combines the fox, pumpkins, and greetings in the foreground from the Fall Friends Stamps, with the trees from the Woodsy Autumn Stamps, and the truck with the smaller fox and the load of pumpkins from the Truckloads of Love Stamps. To frame my scene I used the outer zig-zag edged die from the Frilly Frames Chevron Dies and blended a light amount of Broken China Distress Ink for my Sky with Tea Dye ink for the ground.

For my second card, I created a scene using the mice, pumpkins, wheelbarrow, and corn stalks from the Harvest Mice Stamps. This time, I framed my scene with a smaller zig-zag edged mat using the Mini Mat & Tag 4 Dies and masked off the edges with masking material before inking my sky and ground like I had for my first card. I repeatedly stamped the corn stalk directly onto my scene at different heights with VersaFine Clair Verdant Green Ink. I chose the smaller mat size so that more of the cute orange gingham print from the Critter Country Paper pack would be visible in my background.

Truckloads Of Love Card with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here with you today, I'm thrilled to be back with this autumn card featuring the mouse family again. This time, they're back with their rakes to pick up the falling leaves and keep the neighborhood neat and tidy.

I cut a 7,75 x 2,75 inches slimline panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock using a Slimline Scalloped Frame die, and created a very simple background. I divided my panel in two sections using washi tape, and started by covering the bottom part with peeled paint distress ink. I mixed that same ink with water and used a slim brush to add green splatters to my grass section. Next I did the sky on the upper part using a cloudy stencil from my stash along with tumbled glass and broken china distress inks. I mixed some broken china distress ink with water and added blue splatters to the sky, and then I did the same with copic opaque white ink and splattered white droplets all over my slimline panel.

When my panel was dry, I stamped my greeting from Fall Friends, attached it to an 8 x 3 inches white panel using 1mm foam tape. I cut a scalloped panel out of aqua cardstock using another Slimline Scalloped Frame die, stuck the white panel to it using liquid glue, and then attached the whole thing to an 8,5 x 3,5 inches green card base using 1mm foam tape again.

Next I stamped my images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I used the coordinating dies to cut them all, and colored everything using my Ohuhu markers and my Graph'it brush markers. Here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used: • Scenic Route - houses • Woodsy Autumn - trees • Fall Scenes - piles of leaves, rakes, leaves • Truckloads Of Love - truck, pile of leaves (at the back of the truck) • Beach Bus - mouse (driver) • Merry Mice - mice, scarves • Barnyard Buddies - fences.

When the coloring was done, I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, and then attached them all to my card using 1mm and 2mm foam squares.

Tulip Path Background Card with Amanda

Hey, fun & crafty friends, Amanda here! I hope your week is off to a fantastic start!! If you’re here looking for some creative inspiration, you’re at the right place! Today, I’m sharing a sweet little card I made with the cutest little pick up truck filled with love!

I created this card by masking off the bottom portion of a piece of white A2 cardstock. Then, I stamped the Tulip Path Background Stamp onto the top portion of the card panel. On the bottom portion of the card, I ink blended Catherine Pooler Melon Ice and Martini inks to create grass. Then, I colored in the rest of the card panel with Copic markers. I created the look of grass by flicking green markers up to simulate blades of grass. I did this a lot where the background and foreground blends together.

Once the entire panel was colored in, I stamped the images from the Truckloads of Love Stamps. I also colored these images with Copic markers. Once they were colored, I die cut them with their coordinating die set. I put 3D foam squares behind the images and then placed them to my card panel.  

Next, I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock. I stamped the “truckloads” first with Pucker Up ink. Then, I stamped the rest in black. I used a trimmer to trim it into a strip and then used scissors to cut the ends into banners. I placed foam tape behind the sentiment banner and then added it to my card front.

Finally, I glued my card panel to an A2 card base and she’s ready to go! This will make the perfect card for any loved one!
