Hello everyone, Yan here! I’m delighted to be back with a
soft and cheerful Easter card featuring the Zig Zag Circles Dies from Sunny Studio’s Spring
release. The delicate zigzag edges bring such a lovely texture and detail—just
right for celebrating this gentle, hope-filled season.
First, I stamped the sweet little
sheep from the Woolly Friends Stamps onto Neenah Solar White
cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then, I colored them with Copic
markers, keeping the palette soft and warm for a cozy spring look. Once
finished, I used the coordinating Woolly Friends Dies to cut them out perfectly, ready
to take center stage on my card.
COPIC COLOR
Sheep: C1, C4, C7, E31, E35, E41,
E43, R30
Basket: B000, B12, C1, E31, E35,
E44, R30, R32, Y11, Y15
Next, I used the Zig Zag Circles Dies to cut shapes from white cardstock and blended Distress Oxide Ink in
Saltwater Taffy over the pieces. On a separate card base, I added a touch of
Salvaged Patina to create a light, airy contrast. The soft pastel tones pair
beautifully together, giving the design a calm yet joyful Easter feel. Finally,
I die-cut the word ‘EASTER’ three times using the Sydney Alphabet Dies, then layered the letters together
with glue to create a touch of dimension.
Once that was done, I assembled
all the pieces using foam tape and glue, arranging them as shown in the photo. To finish the design, I added a
heartfelt sentiment from the Woolly Friends Stamps, which perfectly ties
everything together with warmth and charm.
I hope this cheerful little
project brings a bit of Easter inspiration your way. Thank you for visiting, and I’ll
see you again soon with more Spring fun!
