Zig Zag Circles Die Focused Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here! Today I’m sharing a card featuring the Zig Zag Circle Dies!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Zig Zag Circles & Quill Cuties Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Sprawling Surfaces)

I started by die cutting the next largest of the Zig Zag Circles Dies from alcohol ink friendly card stock and stamped the tile floor from the Sprawling Surfaces Stamp set. Next, I stamped the cute hedgehog in the bathtub, a few rubber ducks, the soap bar, the shampoo bottle, a heart and some bubbles from the Quill Cuties Stamp set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below. I then die cut the images using the coordinating Quill Cuties Dies.

Copic colors used:
Hedgehog: N3/5/6/8, W0/1/3, R30/32
Bathtub: R22/35/37/39, Y26/28
Rubber duck: YR04, Y15/17
Soap bar & Shampoo bottle: BG11/13
Heart: R22/35
Tile floor: BG10/11/13, W1

Next, I ink blended the “wall” part of the Zig Zag Circle using turquoise ink and then stamped the sentiment, also from the Quill Cuties StampsI added foam dots to the back of my die cut pieces and adhered them to the Zig Zag Circle.

I trimmed a piece of turquoise Polka-dot Parade paper to 4,25 x 5,5 inches to cover my A2 size card base. Next, I trimmed a piece of white card stock 3,5 x 5,5 inches and a piece of red card stock 3,25 x 5,5 adhering them together on the polka dot card base. I added foam dots to the back of the Zig Zag Circle and adhered it to the center of the red panel.

Thank you for stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and colorful day!

Zig Zag Circles Die Focused Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today and I have a birthday card to share with you featuring these adorable Quill Cuties, the Sydney Alphabet Dies and the Zig Zag Circles Dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Zig Zag Circles & Quill Cuties Birthday Card by Hanh Nguyen (featuring Sydney Alphabet Dies, Quilted Hearts Portrait Dies, Stiched Circle Dies)

I stamped the images from the Quill Cuties Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Quill Cuties Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Hedgehogs: E00/21/11/13, E33/99, R20
Tub: C00/0/1
Bubbles: B000/00
Ducks: Y11/13/15, Y38, R20
Soap: B000

For the background, I used the Quilted Hearts Portrait Die to diecut a panel out of white cardstock. I adhered it to a piece of pink cardstock. I used the largest die from the Zig Zag Circles Dies to diecut a a circle out of pink cardstock. Finally, I used the largest die from the Stitched Circle Small Dies to diecut a circle out of white cardstock and lightly ink blended some Spun Sugar and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide inks. I added a few pink dots with a Copic marker (RV10).

For the sentiment, I stamped the “It’s Your Birthday!” sentiment from the Little Birdie Stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the edge of the white stitched circle. I tucked one of the hedgehogs behind the white circle and peeking over the edge. I adhered the white circle to the pink circle with foam tape.

I used the Sydney Alphabet Dies to diecut the RELAX 2 times out of black cardstock and highlighted with a white gel pen. I layered and adhered the two sets of the letters with liquid adhesive. The pink circle and RELAX were adhered to the panel with liquid glue. The colored images were adhered to the panel with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape for additional dimension and interest. Finally, the card front was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5").

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card. For more info and ideas, be sure to visit the Sunny Studio Stamps Shop. Please also visit my INSTAGRAM feed for more inspirations.

Zig Zag Circles Die Focused Card with Yan

Hello everyone, Yan here! I’m delighted to be back with a soft and cheerful Easter card featuring the Zig Zag Circles Dies from Sunny Studio’s Spring release. The delicate zigzag edges bring such a lovely texture and detail—just right for celebrating this gentle, hope-filled season.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Zig Zag Circle Dies & Woolly Friends Easter Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Sydney Alphabet Dies)

First, I stamped the sweet little sheep from the Woolly Friends Stamps onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then, I colored them with Copic markers, keeping the palette soft and warm for a cozy spring look. Once finished, I used the coordinating Woolly Friends Dies to cut them out perfectly, ready to take center stage on my card.

COPIC COLOR
Sheep: C1, C4, C7, E31, E35, E41, E43, R30
Basket: B000, B12, C1, E31, E35, E44, R30, R32, Y11, Y15

Next, I used the Zig Zag Circles Dies to cut shapes from white cardstock and blended Distress Oxide Ink in Saltwater Taffy over the pieces. On a separate card base, I added a touch of Salvaged Patina to create a light, airy contrast. The soft pastel tones pair beautifully together, giving the design a calm yet joyful Easter feel. Finally, I die-cut the word ‘EASTER’ three times using the Sydney Alphabet Dies, then layered the letters together with glue to create a touch of dimension.

Once that was done, I assembled all the pieces using foam tape and glue, arranging them as shown in the photo. To finish the design, I added a heartfelt sentiment from the Woolly Friends Stamps, which perfectly ties everything together with warmth and charm.

I hope this cheerful little project brings a bit of Easter inspiration your way. Thank you for visiting, and I’ll see you again soon with more Spring fun!

Zig Zag Circles Die Focused Card with Tina H

Hello crafters, it’s Tina with another sweet Spring card. This design is framed by one of the fun Zig Zag Circle dies

Sunny Studio Stamps: Zig Zag Circle Die Focused Spring Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Chickie Baby, Scalloped Square Dies, A Bird's Life, Woodgrain Embossing Folder)

I started this project with a square card base. Next, I cut a white panel with the largest of the Scalloped Square 1 Small dies. I dry embossed this piece with the Woodgrain folder. I love how this texture matches the nature vibe of this card! Next, I glued this panel to the card base.

For my focal point I cut a large white circle (Zig Zag Circle dies) and turned it into a frame by using one of the Stitched Circles Small dies. Both pieces will fit together like a puzzle during the build-up of the design. I cut another piece (teal paper Flirty Flowers) with the stitched circle die to create a grassy border (die from my stash). The top part of the white circle was turned into a sky (cloud stencil from my stash and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide). I glued the grass piece to the circle with liquid glue.

To complete the scene I stamped a tree branch, a little birdie (A Bird’s Life), some Easter eggs, a basket and a cute chick (Chickie Baby). All the coloring was done with my Copic markers and I added white highlights with a gel pen.

My sentiment comes from the Chubby Bunny set and was stamped on a white strip with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Before building the card, I took the white circle frame and the inner landscape part and flipped them both backwards. Then, I used some tape to hold them together. This extra step made it a lot easier for me to add foam tape and mount both parts to the embossed square panel.  I put all the images in place using tape where needed for that extra dimension. Lastly, I added the sentiment strip and some Aquamarine Jewels for that soft touch of bling!

I love how the Zig Zag Circle frames this sweet scene. But this set can be used for so many other designs! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!
