Baked With Love Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Hanh here with you today and I have a sweet birthday card to share featuring the Foxy Friends, Baked with Love, and Holiday Hugs sets. So let’s get started.

I stamped the adorable images from the Foxy Friends Stamps, Baked With Love Stamps and the cupcake from the Holiday Hugs Stamps sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the coordinating Foxy Friends Dies, Baked With Love Dies and Holiday Hugs Dies to diecut them out. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

For the background, I took a piece of white cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") and diecut two windows into it using the Stitched Circle Large Dies. With the windowed panel as a guide, I ink blended Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink onto another piece of white cardstock in the location of those windows. 

For the sentiment, I used the Sydney Alphabet Dies to diecut the SWEET letters 3 times out of white cardstock. I colored one set of letters with Copic markers. I stacked and adhered the letters with liquid glue for a bit of dimension. I stamped the “Wishing you a” and “birthday" sentiments from the Panda Party Stamps set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink directly onto the white windowed panel. I adhered the SWEET letters onto the panel.

I adhered the two panels to each other using foam tape. I adhered the colored images to the front of the card with foam tape for additional dimension and interest. The card front was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5”).

Afternoon Tea Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here! I love going to Afternoon Tea and I had so much fun creating this card with the beautiful Afternoon Tea Stamps!

For my card I used an A2 size card base. I started by trimming a piece of pink card stock from my stash to 5,5 x 4,25 inches and adhered it to my card base using double sided tape.

For the background, I used the largest of the Icing Rectangle Frame dies to create a frame using the turquoise paper from the Classic Sunburst Paper pack. Inside I used a piece of white cardstock that I ink blended using pink ink and then splattered with gold watercolor. For the bottom part of the inside, I used pink paper from the Classic Gingham Paper pack.

I then stamped all the images I wanted to feature from the Afternoon Tea Stamps set, the cookies from the Baked With Love Stamps set and the butterfly from the Spring Garland Stamps set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on alcohol ink friendly paper. To decorate the tea pot and the cups I stamped the tiny sprig from the stamp set creating a delicate pattern using turquoise ink.

I then colored the images with my Copic markers. The colors I used are listed below. Next, I die cut the colored images using the coordinating dies from the Afternoon Tea Dies, Baked With Love Dies and the Spring Garland Dies.

Tea pot, cup and saucer: C0/1/2 (just to get a little shadow)
Cookies: E31/33/35/37, BG10/11/13
Butterfly: C3, BG10/11/13, RV10

I stamped the big Happy Mother´s Day from the Afternoon Tea Stamps set with turquoise ink, die cut it using the coordinating die. Lastly, I added foam dots to the back of all die cut pieces for dimension and adhered them to the card.

Designer's Choice: Panda Party Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing this cookie card.  

For this card, I started by die-cutting a card base from Classic Gingham patterned paper, which gives it a warm and cozy look. In the center, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock and added a beautiful gold frame using  Loopy Rectangle Frame dies.

Then it was time to “bake some cookies”! I used the Baked with Love stamp set and heat embossed the cookie shapes with white embossing powder on light brown paper. After that, I die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I also stamped and die-cut the piping bag, which I later placed in the panda’s hand for a fun detail.

To make the ‘cookies’ look like real cookies, I softly blended brown ink around the edges of the cookies and adhered them to the card. Next, I stamped the pandas and the sentiment from the Panda Party stamp set and colored them with my Ohuhu markers.

Finally, I arranged everything on the card to create a birthday scene that looks almost good enough to eat!
