Summer Greenery Cards with Marieke and Marine

Hello Sunny Studio friends, Marieke here. Today I hope to inspire you with a card using die cuts only.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Summer Greenery Summer Themed Card by Marieke Slaats (featuring Sunshine Word Die)

First off I trimmed a white rectangle, splattered some black paint and let it dry. Die cut the Summer Greenery Dies out of a teal, blue and green cardstock. Ink Blended them using inks and splattered some water, paint or ink onto them.

Glued the leaves onto the rectangle and trimmed off what was hanging off the rectangle. Cut a white top fold basecard. Added the pattern panel onto the base card using foam tape.

Die cut the Sunshine Word die four times out of black cardstock and glued them together onto the card. Stamped the sentiment out of the Sending Sunshine stamp on white paper. Trimmed it to a small banner and added it to the card using foam tape. Finished off the card adding some clear sequins.

------------------------------------------

Hello crafty friends, Marine here with you today, I'm back with a new shaker card, I'm quite obsessed with them at the moment, they're so fun to make!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Summer Greenery Summer Themed Card by Marine Simon (featuring Fabulous Flamingos, Stitched Arch Dies)

This new card features some beautiful leaves from the Summer Greenery die set, but before cutting them, I started off by stamping two cute flamingos, as well as some flowers and tropical leaves from Fabulous Flamingos that I colored using my alcohol markers.

Next I created a simple distress oxide ink background. I divided a 5,5 x 4,25 inches bristol panel in three sections using washi tape: sand at the bottom, ocean right above it, and then sky at the top. For the sand section, I used antique linen + vintage photo + copic opaque white ink, for the ocean I used salvaged patina + peacock feathers, and for the sky I used worn lipstick + festive berries + copic opaque white ink.

I set my oxide ink panel aside to dry, and created the panel that goes on the front. I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches navy blue panel, as well as a bunch of leaves out of the same paper using the Summer Greenery die set. I attached the leaves on the panel using liquid glue, added copic opaque white ink splatters all over the leaves and then cut a window out of the panel using a Stitched Arch die.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Summer Greenery Summer Themed Card by Marine Simon (featuring Fabulous Flamingos, Stitched Arch Dies)

I attached my window panel on a piece of acetate, added foam strips at the back all along the arch and on the sides as well, poured a bunch of clear jewels inside the window and then stuck the oxide ink panel to the foam strips to complete my shaker panel.

Next I cut more Summer Greenery leaves, as well as two Spring Greenery leaves out of different colored cardstock. I also created a flower using dies from the Botanical Backdrop die set, I arranged all those pieces at the top of the arch window to create a cluster, and attached them all using foam squares and glue dots, as well as the flamingos, flowers and leaves at the bottom of the arch.

For my sentiment, I white heat embossed the banner from Little Birdie on vellum, as well as the "Happy summer" phrase from Fabulous Flamingos inside of it, and attached it below the flower & leaf cluster using clear foam squares.

And that's it! I hope you like this new colorful summer shaker card! Of course you can check the process video if you need more details and information (click the image above). Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next time!

Swimming Pool Die Focused Cards by Marieke and Marine

Hello Sunny Studio friends, Marieke here. Today I hope to inspire you with a slimline shaker card using the Swimming Pool Die

Sunny Studio Stamps: Swimming Pool Die Focused Card by Marieke Slaats (featuring Sending Sunshine, Sunshine Word Die, Kiddie Pool)

So first I started with the wooden deck. Using wood grain specialty paper I cut the slimline rectangle. Then cut strips of 1/4 inch and cut some in three pieces and the other ones in two pieces. Ink Blended each of them using Walnut Stain Distress inkt and glued them on another kraft rectangle.

Die cut the Swimming Pool die out of the middle and adhered some acetate behind it. Cut a slightly smaller blue rectangle, traced it on the back of the kraft rectangle and added some foam tape on the back of the kraft rectangle and "closed" the swimming pool so it would turn into a shaker compartment. Filled the compartment with sequins and closed it using the blue rectangle.

Used Copic Colors:
Swimming Pool - C1, C00, 0
Purple - BV17, BV04, BV13, BV02
Yellow - Y17, Y15, Y13
Teal - BG15, BG13, BG11
Pink - RV06, RV04, RV02
Green - YG67, YG03, YG01
White - C5, C3, C1, C00, 0
Tree Trunks - E47, E44, E43
Chairs - E37, E35, E33, E31
Skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, E04 / R22, R20
Blond hair - YR24, YR23, Y21, Y11
Brown Hair (girl) - E37, E35, E33, E31
Black / Brown Hair - W9, W6, W5, W3
Brown Hair (boy) - E59, E57, E55, E53

Die cut the Swimming Pool die 4 times out of white cardstock and on one of them I added some grey details using my Copic markers. Adhered them together, die cut the stairs out of silver cardstock and glued it on to the swimming pool.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Swimming Pool Die Focused Card by Marieke Slaats (featuring Sending Sunshine, Sunshine Word Die, Kiddie Pool)

Stamped the images of Kiddie PoolSending SunshineTropical Scenes stamps. Colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching dies or cut them by hand. Adhered all the images onto the cardbase using foam tape.

Heat set the sentiment out of Sending Sunshine on some yellow cardstock and cut it into a smaller strip. Die cut the larger word four times out of link cardstock using the Sunshine Word die, glued them together and added some white gel pen details. Stamped the sentiment from the Kiddie Pool on some white cardstock and cut it using a speech bubble die.

Adhered the shaker onto a 1/2 inch larger white rectangle. Cut a top fold white base card 1/3 larger than the white rectangle and added the paper out of the Sleek Stripes Paper Pad. Adhered everything onto the base card using double sided tape and my card was all done.

Hey crafty friends! Marine here with you today, back with three little frogs having fun around the pond! I used the Swimming Pool die to create the pond, as well as some images from different sets to make this cute scene:

Sunny Studio Stamps: Swimming Pool Die Focused Card by Marine Simon (featuring Country Scenes, Feeling Froggy)

I stamped all those cute images using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, coloring them using my alcohol markers, and cut everything using the coordinating dies.

For the background, I first cut a 5,5" x 4,25" bristol panel, and I used grass stencils along with mowed lawn + rustic wilderness distress oxide inks to create a large grass section on half of the panel. And on the rest of the panel, I created the sky using a cloud stencil along with tumbled glass + salty ocean distress oxide inks.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Swimming Pool Die Focused Card by Marine Simon (featuring Country Scenes, Feeling Froggy)

Next I cut the Swimming Pool element, and I wanted the pond to look natural, so I colored it using grey markers to give it some stone effect. And to make the water inside the pond, I placed the die on a piece of bristol cardstock, traced the shape on the paper, fussy cut it, and then I colored that element using shabby shutters + broken china distress oxide inks.

I attached my pond border on the water element using foam squares, and then I stuck the whole piece on the panel using liquid glue. I cut around the frog images to get rid of the lily pads, and next I attached all my cute images on the panel around the pond using foam squares and glue dots.

For the sentiment, I stamped the words "You're" & "Awesome" on the top part of the panel, and between those words, I glued some letters that I cut using the Chloe Alphabet die set to finally read "You're froggin' awesome".

Sunny Studio Stamps: Swimming Pool Die Focused Card by Marine Simon (featuring Country Scenes, Feeling Froggy)

I finished my card by attaching the panel on a kraft card base and adding white details and highlights on the images, and that's it! We have a cute and fun little scene, and I hope that you like it! As always, feel welcome to check the process video for more details (click the image above). Thanks for stopping by and see you next week!

Tropical Scenes Card with Leanne

Hi crafty friends, Leanne here! Are you ready for some tropical inspiration today? I have a fun beach scene to share that all started with a cute island and palm tree from the Tropical Scenes stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Tropical Scenes Oceans Of Joy Sunny Sentiments Sunshine Word Die Fancy Frame Dies Summer Themed Card by Leanne West

First I started by creating a pretty ink blended background. I used three colors of Distress Oxide Ink - Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar, and Blueprint Sketch.

I used six different Sunny Studio stamp sets to create the scene and custom greeting. The island & palm trees are from Tropical Scenes. The girl, bag, sunscreen bottle, pail, & shovel are from Beach Babies. The crab is from Oceans of Joy and the sun is from Sunny Sentiments

Copics used: YG11, YG13, YG17, E40, E41, E43, E44, E000, E00, E21 YR12, YR18, YR21, YR24, Y32, Y11, Y15, Y17, RV52, RV63, RV55, B60, B63

Sunny Studio Stamps: Tropical Scenes Oceans Of Joy Sunny Sentiments Sunshine Word Die Fancy Frame Dies Summer Themed Card by Leanne West

For the part stamped, part die cut greeting I used the following: "sending you" from Sending SunshineSunshine Word Die, "& smiles" from Breakfast Puns. I colored the die cut word sunshine with Copic markers to get the ombre' look. To complete the card I added a Rectangle Fancy Frame.

Radiant Plumeria Cards with Lynn and Ashley

Hi there! It’s Lynn here and today I’m sharing a fun tropical summer card I created featuring the new Radiant Plumeria stamp set and coordinating dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Radiant Plumeria Sun Ray Dies Summer Themed Everyday Card by Lynn Put

To create my card, I started out by stamping a bunch of the images from the Radiant Plumeria stamp set and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out. Most of the images from this set are multi step stamping to give each stamped image wonderful detail. I used Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz and Daffodil Delight inks for the flowers and Limeade Ice and New Leaf for the leaves.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Radiant Plumeria Sun Ray Dies Summer Themed Everyday Card by Lynn Put

To create my background I used the Sun Ray dies and a rectangle die to created my own stencil and then blended on Scattered Straw and Wild Honey Distress Oxide inks. Before stamping my sentiment I used my heat tool to make sure my blended background was completely dry and then using my Misti tool, I stamped my sentiment in black ink.

Once my background was done, I adhered my tropical flowers and leaves popping up two of the flowers with foam tape. I also added a few pink Iridescent Pastel Confetti for a bit of sparkle.

--------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone! It's Ashley with a fun summer card featuring the Radiant Plumeria set! I love the tropical feel you get from a card full of plumeria flowers! The way the set is created even lets you easily stamp two-color blossoms!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Radiant Plumeria Frilly Frame Dies Sunshine Word Die Kinsley Alphabet Summer Themed Everyday Card by Ashley Ebben

I started by blending some Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink onto the edges of light blue cardstock, letting it fade towards the center. Blending Oxide ink onto colored cardstock is an easy way to get a nice blend with only one color of ink! I die cut this piece using the scalloped frame from Frilly Frames Stripes and added it to a piece of pink tropical flower paper from the Summer Splash paper pad.

I used the Radiant Plumeria stamp set and my Misti to stamp several flowers and leaves onto white cardstock. I am a rookie with layered stamps, but I am loving the Pinkfresh Studio cube ink sets to get a good gradation of color. For the flowers, I used the Rise and Shine (yellow) and Fairy Dust (pink) sets. For the leaves, I used the Over the Hills (green) set. I then cut all of my stamped images out with the matching dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Radiant Plumeria Frilly Frame Dies Sunshine Word Die Kinsley Alphabet Summer Themed Everyday Card by Ashley Ebben

I arranged all the leaves and flowers onto my card front, popping a few up with foam tape for dimension. I used the Sunshine Word die three times on dark blue cardstock and glued it in a stack for a thick sentiment. Since plumerias always make me think of Hawaii, I used the Kinsley Alphabet set to spell "aloha", stamped it in VersaMark onto the same dark blue cardstock, and embossed with white. I popped this strip up with foam tape too. For a finishing touch, I added bright blue jewels around the card for sparkle.

I love how bright and summery this card turned out! It makes me wish for beaches and tropical drinks! Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Frilly Frames Eyelet Die Focused Cards with Leanne and Mindy

Hi there! Leanne here and I have a sweet and simple Easter card to share. I think when you have a simpler scene on a card, it's important to accent it with other design elements that won't be too over powering. That's where a die like the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace comes in handy. This die can create just the right amount of interest without taking away from the focal point of the card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Frilly Frame Dies Stitched Oval Dies Chickie Baby Easter Card by Leanne West

I started with an A2 sized white card base. I die cut the Eyelet Lace frame from pastel aqua card stock and adhered it to the card base with dimensional foam squares. Next I die cut a stitched oval from white card stock to house my little Easter scene.

Copic colors used: yellow - Y0000, Y00, Y15  pink - RV52, RV55  green - YG01, YG05  blue - BG10, BG11, BG13  light brown - E41, E42, E43  dark brown - E25, E27

Sunny Studio Stamps: Frilly Frame Dies Stitched Oval Dies Chickie Baby Easter Card by Leanne West

I used a mix images from a few different Sunny Studio stamps sets for the scene. The chick, basket, & eggs are from Chickie Baby. The little chocolate bunny is from Chubby Bunny. The tulips are from Spring Greetings. The greeting is from Happy Thoughts. I Copic colored the images and die cut with the coordinating dies. I then simply adhered the images onto the oval in a pleasing arrangement to complete the card.

Hello! It’s Mindy from My Creative Scoop.Today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful card using the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace Die

Sunny Studio Stamps: Frilly Frame Dies Fluffy Cloud Border Dies Sunshine Word Die Friendship Card by Mindy Baxter

First I used my Distress Oxide Inks and created a rainbow on my die cut. I’m also using the Fluffy Cloud Border Die, Sunshine Word Die, Comic Strip Speech Bubbles. It’s so much fun to mix and match dies to create a card. I was searching through my stamps and in the new Enchanted Stamp Set I found this “You’re My”, which goes perfect with Sunshine.
