Holiday Greetings Cards with Marie and Alma

Hello Crafty Friends, Marie here. It is officially the Holiday Season! I am sure by now, most of us are busy preparing for the Holidays and that includes Holiday Cardmaking! Today I am sharing a card design that I think is perfect If you don't have much time to create but still want something super festive, simple, and classy. Today's card features our Holiday Greetings stamps which creates beautiful bold Holiday sentiments in a gorgeous cursive font! I absolutely adore them! I also used the Classy Christmas stamps which features the classic super festive poinsettias that paired perfectly with the Holiday Greetings stamps. 

To get started with my card, I die-cut an A2 size panel using 110 lb Neenah Solar White heavyweight cardstock.  I then cut an A2 sized panel from the All Is Bright 6x6 pattern paper pack. I used the candy cane striped pattern paper and adhered that to my heavyweight cardstock. I then die-cut another slightly smaller rectangle from 110lb cardstock and used the Moroccan Circles 6x6 embossing folder to create a very simple but elegant texture to my card background. After embossing, I inked the outer edges with Distress Ink in the Colors Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain. I created a gold accent frame for my sentiment by die-cutting a very thin frame from 2 oval dies. 

I stamped my Seasons Greetings Sentiment using the Holiday Greeting stamps and cut out my sentiment using the Holiday Greetings coordinating dies which is such an amazing feature of this entire set! I really love how you can cut out the sentiments because it makes placing them so easy!!! I stamped my poinsettia images from the Classy Christmas stamps using Distress Ink in the color Antique Linen onto watercolor paper. I used Derwent Inktense water soluble pencils to color my images. Then I cut out my colored images using the Classy Christmas coordinating dies.  

After coloring, I put together my card by adhering my Moroccan embossed panel to the A2 paper panel using double sided tape adhesive. I then centered my Sentiment and glued it down using Bearly art Precision Craft Glue. I placed my gold oval frame around my sentiment and framed that using the two poinsettia images and leaves. Finally, I adhered my poinsettias using foam strips to create dimension and placed the leaves just underneath them.

Hello, my dears! It's Alma and I'm really getting into the Christmas spirit! I love to wrap presents beautifully and today I want to show you an XL gift tag that I made with the Santa's Stocking Dies.

First I punched out the individual sock elements in red and white three times. This gives the tag more stability when you glue it together later. I embossed the red sock part with the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder. This gives the socks a happy and fun pattern. Then I glued the individual sock elements together, also using 3D adhesive pads to make the tag look more lively.

To decorate my stocking, I decided to use the Deck the Hall Stamps images and stamped three of them, coloured and cut them out with the Deck the Halls Dies. Now we come to the most important thing! The stuffing of the stocking! I punched the candy canes from the Santa's Stocking Dies and the Winter Greenery Dies and coloured them with Copics.

Also snowflakes from the Snowflake Circle Frame Die should not be missing. To make a present, I used a die-cut window from the Window Quad Square Dies in kraft paper, painted white dots on it and tied it with red paper ribbon. A mini tag from the same set perfects the Christmas sock! Now I glued everything together and add stars and hearts from the Basic Mini Shape Dies 3.

Finally - and as a special highlight - I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Holiday Greeting Stamps in red and punched it out with the Holiday Greeting Dies. At the end I attached the text to the waistband of my socks, put an eyelet so that the tag can be tied with a bow - and the gift-giving can begin!

Reindeer Games Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks. Kavya here with another fun holiday project! Ever since I saw these adorable reindeers from Reindeer Games, I knew I wanted to create a scene with a Santa and his reindeers sleighing across a night sky. 

I started off by creating my backgrounders using shades of blue, black and purple dye ink. I used a generic cloud stencil to create the clouds at the bottom. Then, I splattered some white paint for the stars and snow! It might have been a bit too much in hindsight!

Then, I stamped and colored images from Reindeer Games and Santa Claus Lane stamps. I then adhered all the images and added a moon. I chose to skip the sentiment but you can add one at the bottom if you’d like.

Hello everyone! Isha today with a cute holiday card featuring the Reindeer Games stamps and dies. 

I started by sponging some inks to create the sky. Flick white paint to create snow. Die-cut the tree from the Autumn Tree die, add some white paint to create the snowy look. Die-cut the snow dunes using the Slimline Nature Border dies. Sponge ink to it.

Adhere all the pieces to the mat layer. Adhere this panel to a red cardbase. Stamp the images, colour and adhere to the card. Reindeer, ornaments - Reindeer Games stamp set and dies. Gifts - Holiday Express stamp and die, Penguin Party Stamp and die.

Adhere everything to the card and stamp the sentiment. Thank you for dropping by and have a nice day!

Mini Mat & Tag Die Focused Cards by Cathy and Bobbi

Hey friends! Cathy here today with a few tropical Christmas projects for everyone living in a sunny, warm climate and everyone who wishes they were! Even though I live in the South, it can still get quite chilly in the winter. We never really know whether Christmas Day will be sunny and 80 or winter, so I always love a little tropical right about now!

To start this card, I die-cut the Frilly Frames Quatrefoil Dies from white cardstock and adhered the outside frame portion to an A2 card base. I then die-cut the Frilly Frames Herringbone die from white cardstock and adhered the center portion to the card front.

For the background, I cut a piece of white cardstock 2 1/4" x 3 1/2". I masked the bottom 1” of the cardstock and inked the sky with Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon, Saltwater Taffy and Scattered Straw Distress inks. I then masked the sky and inked the water with Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress inks. For the sand, I die-cut the Tropical Trees Backdrop Die from white cardstock and inked the sand portion with Antique Linen Distress ink. I adhered it across the bottom of the cardstock piece and trimmed the excess along the right and left edges. I heat embossed a sentiment from the Surfing Santa Stamps which worked perfectly for my flamingos. I matted the background on a hot pink cardstock.

The Mini Mats are perfect for showcasing small scenes, so I die-cut one from the Mini Mat & Tag 1 Dies from a piece of Critter Country Paper, centered my background piece on the mat and adhered these to the card front.

I stamped all images on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock, colored them with Copics and die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I used the following stamps and dies:
Fabulous Flamingos Stamps and Dies
Reindeer Games Stamps and Dies (Santa hats)
Tropical Paradise Stamps and Dies (hibiscus)
Seasonal Trees Stamps and Dies
Santa Claus Lane Stamps (ornaments)

I also die-cut a monstera leaf from the Summer Greenery Dies from white cardstock and colored it with Copics.

I couldn’t resist making a couple of tropical penguin tags to coordinate with my card. These were so fun to make! I die-cut both tags from hot pink cardstock using the Mini Mat & Tag 4 Dies. I also die-cut white cardstock with the tag die and inked backgrounds for each using Tumbled Glass, Scattered Straw and Saltwater Taffy Distress inks. I heat embossed the sentiments which I combined from the Reindeer Games Stamps, Passionate Penguins Stamps, Santa Claus Lane Stamps and Penguin Party Stamps. For the ocean wave, I used a Slimline Nature Borders Die and for the sand, I used the Tropical Trees Backdrop Die. I adhered them across the backgrounds, trimmed off the excess on the sides and cut the backgrounds to 2 1/4" long. I then adhered them to the tags.

 

I die-cut bright and cheery papers from the Sweater Weather Paper and used the flower hole reinforcer die from the Mini Mat & Tag 3 Dies to keep with the tropical theme.

 

I stamped all images on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock, colored them with Copics and die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I used the following stamps and dies:

Hello friends! Bobbi here with tags for the holidays. We add tags to all of our gifts and for the little children’s gifts, I go for bold and colorful prints to make them more youthful and fun for the kids. My tags in these festive colors will coordinate perfectly on my bold gift wraps. I am using the following products by Sunny Studio: Mini Mat & Tag 1 dies, Mini Mat & Tag 2 dies, Mini Mat & Tag 3 dies, Mini Mat & Tag 4 dies.

All four mat/tag die sets create fun and unique shaped tags for the holidays. Even though I could just use the tag dies for a smaller gift tag, I chose to use the matching mats to share here. I love how big the tag is with the mat and how frilly the edges look, too. Because these tags are colorful with the Joyful Holiday Paper, I wanted a white border to make the tag really pop off my gift wrap on the presents.  Note: There are four different mats (one unique one in each set) and I used mat 2 twice, in place of the mat in 1. It was not intentional. They are all so cute! 

I used Reindeer Games stamps and dies with the Joyful Holiday Paper to make these two tags. I also ink blended the backgrounds with Distress Oxide Inks in greens and blues. Everything was cut out and assembled using Precision Tip Glue and foam tabs. I added a few rhinestones to make the tags sparkle. The snowballs in the Santa tag were made from pure white jewels. I added red garnet rhinestones by the sentiment. The stars in the sky by the reindeer are made with a white pen and iridescent jewels. I used a red twine for the tag string and Liquid Applique for the dimensional fur on Santa’s outfit.

For my next two tags, I used the Snowman Kisses stamps and dies for the cute snowman. I used Liquid Applique for the snow around the first snowman. To make the circular opening on the second tag, I used a simple punch. What’s fun is you can use your own punches with these dies to get even more fun looks from these staple sets! More rhinestones accent the right side tag, too!
