Feeling Frosty Card with Isha

Hello everyone, Isha here and I am back with a fun and adorable card featuring the Feeling Frosty stamps and coordinating dies. We all need Christmas and new year cards and this design can be adapted to any. These snowmen are so adorable so I decided to have as many as I could on this card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Feeling Frosty Holiday Card by Isha Gupta (featuring Season's Greetings)

I started by sponging distress oxide ink in wilted violet, salted ocean and blueprint sketch. Flick some water and white paint to this. Apply white paint for snowbanks and let this dry.

Stamp the images from the Feeling Frosty stamp set, color and die-cut using coordinating dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Season's Greetings stamp set, die-cut using the coordinating dies.

Adhere the panel to a white card. Add the images and the sentiments using 3D foam. Add diamond stickles to part of the images and snowbanks.

Thank you for dropping by and have a nice day!

Penguin Pals Card with Rachel

Hello crafty friends! It's Rachel here with a Christmas card featuring one of the sweet little penguins from the Penguin Pals Stamp Set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Penguin Pals Christmas Card with Rachel Alvarado (featuring Slimline Nature Border Dies)

I combined this set with a gorgeous sentiment from the Season's Greetings Stamp Set. I first stamped my images (penguin and candy cane) onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored them with Copic alcohol markers and used the coordinating Penguin Pals Die Set to cut them out.

Copic Colors Used:

  • White: 0, C00, C1, C3
  • Black: W7, W9
  • Reds: R14, R46, R59, R89
  • Orange: YR04, YR18
  • Cheeks: RV52

For my background, I trimmed a piece of light blue card stock slightly larger than 4.25" x 5.5" and blended the top of it with some MFT Blue Yonder Premium Dye Ink. I also added some snow spatters with some diluted Copic Opaque White Paint. Next, I trimmed off the ink smudges from the edges by cutting my panel down to 4.25" x 5.5" with my paper trimmer. I then die cut a stitched snow drift from white card stock with one of the

To finish my card, I heat embossed my sentiment onto a piece of red card stock with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder and then adhered it to my card base with some liquid adhesive after I die cut it. Lastly, I added my images with 3D foam adhesive tape and also adhered a strip of patterned paper from the All is Bright Paper Pad at the bottom of my card.

Thanks so much for dropping by! Wishing you all a lovely day!

Winter Wreaths Card with Gladys

Hi crafty friends, Gladys here! I'm excited to be back on the blog today to share another holiday card featuring the beautiful Winter Wreaths stamp set. It's the busiest time of the year again and if you haven't started your holiday card making yet I hope this card will help inspire you!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Winter Wreaths Holiday Card by Gladys Marcelino (featuring Season's Greetings)

To start, I stamped the wreath using Simon Says Stamps pawsitively saturated inks, but you can use any inks you prefer. I used a light color first then stamped it a second time using a darker color only on the outer and inner edge of the wreath to add contrast. If you don't want harsh lines, use a mini sponge dauber to smooth the ink before stamping it so that it has an even application. The bow and mini poinsettias are layering stamps which I love because it's very dimensional. I recommend using a stamping tool with layering stamps because it makes it so much easier to line things up. Once all my stamping was complete, I used the coordinating dies to cut them all out.

Next, I used an A2 rectangle die to cut the red pattern paper from All Is Bright paper pack. I inked the edges with aged mahogony distress ink to add depth. To add more interest, I splattered white paint all over the panel and wreath. For the sentiment I used the Season's Greetings stamp set. I heat embossed it with gold embossing powder then used the coordinating die to cut the word Greetings. The word season's is heat embossed on vellum.

To assemble the card, I centered the wreath on the top of the panel. I backed the poinsettia's and bow with double sided foam tape for dimension. Then adhered the Greetings sentiment on the bottom of the panel and the vellum centered in the opening of the wreath. For finishing touches I added red jewels on the center of the poinsettia's and a scatter of gold jewels all over the wreath.

Thanks so much for joining me today, I'll be back for more inspiration. Have a wonderful day!

Woolen Mitten Die Focused Gift Card Holders with Tammy

Hello friends! Tammy here with a fun project featuring the adorable Woolen Mitten Dies. Since the holidays are quickly approaching, I made a couple of gift card holders with a homespun feel!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Woolen Mitten Holiday Gift Card Holders by Tammy Stark (featuring Season's Greetings, Feeling Frosty, Brilliant Banners Dies)

To begin, I stamped the cute snowman images from Feeling Frostycolored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Feeling Frosty Dies. Next, I die cut the mittens from the All Is Bright 6X6 Paper Pad using the Woolen Mitten Die. I also cut 2 mittens from heavy white cardstock, attaching them together to create a pocket. I lined the edges of the mitten with thin sticky tape, making sure to leave the opening at the top to insert a gift card.

Next, I die cut the hearts from red patterned paper (Joyful Holiday Paper and Very Merry 6X6 Paper) using the Stitched Heart 2 DiesI die cut the cuff and snowflake from white cardstock using the Woolen Mitten Dies, then attached them to the front of each mitten, using foam tape to adhere the snowmen. I cut white banners using the Brilliant Banner 1 Die and stamped the sentiment from Feeling Frosty in red ink and attached them to the mitten, tucking underneath the snowmen.

Next, using the Woolen Mitten Dies, I cut the holly leaves from green cardstock and the cute button from red cardstock. I cut mini white tags from the Window Quad Square Diesadding red patterned paper (leftover from hearts) on the top of the tags. I stamped the 'to' and 'from' in red ink from the Season's Greeting Stampthen threaded the buttons with white string, adding the tags and tying them up. I attached the holly leaves to the cuff of the mitten, then adhered the tags, using foam tape for dimension to complete my mitten gift card holders!

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
