Party Pets Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here! Today I have a cute birthday card for you using the Party Pets Stamps!

I started off by trimming a piece of yellow polka dot paper from the Polka-Dot Parade Paper pack to 4,25 x 5,5 inches to cover my A2 size card base. I then trimmed a piece of white card stock to 3,75 x 5 inches, and ink blended it using turquoise/blue for a background sky. Next, I trimmed a slightly larger black panel to go behind my ink blended panel and adhered them to the card base, using double sided tape. I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Party Pets Stamps set with Memento Tuxedo black ink in the upper left corner of the sky panel.

Next, on to the stamping and masking of the dogs, balloons and gift boxes from the Party Pets Stamps set, the white picket fence, grass and trees from the Spring Scenes Stamps set and some clouds from the Majestic Meadow Stamps set. I stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on alcohol ink friendly card stock. For the masking I used Spellbinders Masking Sheets. I then colored the images with Copic markers, see list below:

As I merged several images into one, I then fussy cut them out leaving a narrow white border as if I had used coordinating dies. There are coordinating dies available to the Party Pets set if you want to stamp each image separately and then arrange the scene! I used the coordinating dies to cut out the trees, fence and clouds using the Spring Scenes Dies and the Majestic Meadow Dies.

I trimmed the fence and the grass piece to fit the width of my ink blended panel and adhered it to the bottom using double sided tape. I Copic colored a 2,25 x 5 inches piece of alcohol ink friendly card stock to create a hill and used the Slimline Nature Borders die set to cut it out and tucked it in behind the fence and added the trees!

I added foam dots to the back of the dogs and gift boxes for dimension and adhered them to the scene. Lastly I used liquid glue and adhered the clouds!

Foxy Friends Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here sharing a card using the cute and fun Foxy Friends set!

For my A2 size card I started with the background panels, I die cut out the pink piece using patterned paper from the Classic Sunburst Paper pack using the largest of the Rounded Rectangle Mat Dies. From white card stock I die cut out the second largest of the Rounded Rectangle Mat Dies and ink blended a sky using light blue ink, and adhered them to the card base.

Next, I stamped the bench/trees/lamp post/hills from the Spring Scenes Stamps, the foxes and birds from the Foxy Friends Stamps and clouds from the Majestic Meadow Stamps on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below.

I then die cut out the colored pieces using the coordinating Spring Scenes Dies, Foxy Friends Dies, Majestic Meadow Dies. I also used the second largest of the Rounded Rectangle Mat Dies for the bottom of the stamped and colored scenery piece to get the same shape as the panel and I then adhered it using double sided tape. I adhered the clouds using liquid glue. I stamped the greeting, from the Foxy Friends Stamps set. Next, I added foam dots to the back of the foxes, birds and the single tree for dimension and adhered them to the scene panel.

Passionate Penguins Spring Cards with Mendi

Hello there! I hope you had a lovely Christmas. This is Mendi popping in to share some spring-themed cards featuring our beloved Passionate Penguins Stamps.

My first card showcasing the Passionate Penguins Stamps uses the cute image of the penguins in the car, which I paired with the mountains, trees, and flowers from the Spring Scenes Stamps for their scenic drive. I cut three hills for them using the Slimline Nature Border Dies and then fussy cut the street using just black cardstock with my scissors. I had planned to add the white dotted line; however, when I realized my car would be taking over the entire road, I decided to make it a one-lane street. I borrowed the sentiment from the Cruising Critters Stamps, which I heat-embossed in white to pop against the black pavement. Lastly, I added three small die-cut clouds from the Comic Strip Everyday Dies to the sky.

For my second card using the Passionate Penguins Stamps, I colored the three sets of penguin couples in monochromatic pinks. I mounted them onto three overlapping Stitched Heart 2 Dies inked with Salvaged Patina Distress ink. For my background, I blended Picked Raspberry and a hint of Seedless Preserves Distress inks (to more closely match my copic coloring using RV55, RV63, and RV52). I then die-cut the background using a shortened version of the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies and stamped it with a heart print using stamps from the Passionate Penguins set. For my greeting, I combined words from the Passionate Penguins Stamps and the Savanna Safari Stamps, which I heat-embossed onto a Brilliant Banner 3 Die inked with Salvaged Patina ink. As a finishing touch, I added polka dots to the umbrella using a white gel pen. My finished card measures 7-1/2" wide x 3-3/4" high.

Country Carnival & Enchanted Theme Park Slimline Card with Mendi

Hello and welcome! This is Mendi, popping in to share a card for Summer featuring our Country Carnival Stamps and elements from several other fun sets!

I wanted to create an amusement park scene with a parade of princess floats for this card. Knowing all the elements I wanted to include, a 9" wide x 4" high slimline-style card felt like the perfect canvas for my project! I used the Ferris wheel, carousel, castle, bears, and mini balloons from the Country Carnival Stamps to populate my theme park. I added Princess Belle and Cinderella, as well as the castle in the distance from our Enchanted Stamps, and elevated them to look more like a float using the train from our Holiday Express Stamps. To transform my holiday train to a parade float, I colored it in shades of pink and gold and dressed it up with buntings from the Balloon Rides Stamps. A bear from the Beach Buddies Stamps colored to look like he was wearing mouse ears was added as a train conductor.

In the distance, behind my scene, I added the mountains and trees from our Spring Scenes Stamps. I inked up my sky and added the mini cloud dies from our Comic Strip Everyday Dies. I then added another cardstock layer, blending from Antique Linen to Citron Green, and die-cutting the top edge using our Mini Grass Border Dies. To keep my busy scene from becoming too overwhelming, I kept all my elements within a narrow color scheme of pink, yellow, and baby blue, with touches of green for the trees and grass and neutral brown tones for the ground, bears, and mountains. There was a lot of coloring, but I enjoyed this one, and I hope you do too!
