Hi everyone! Leanne here today. Halloween will be here before we know it so I've already been shopping for Halloween candy to fill treat bags. We get a lot of trick or treaters in our neighborhood every year. However this Happy Howl-o-ween treat bag idea is for the furry four legged trick or treaters.
To make these fun canine friendly treat bags you'll need some dog treats, small cellophane bags, the Treat Bag Topper dies, the Happy Howl-o-ween stamps, and the Too Cute to Spook stamps.
I die cut the base bag topper from black card stock then added the green and purple mats. I picked out some images from the two stamp sets to create simple scenes. I Copic colored the images and will list the colors I used at the end of the post. Before adhering the images I stamped the webs and sentiments with black ink directly onto the mats.
Here are the Copics I used for coloring the images: orange - YR21, YR12, YR1; purple - V22, V25, V99; black spiders - N4, N6; shading on white - C0, C3; brown on dogs - E40, E41, E43
I filled the cello bags with some bone shaped dog biscuits and sealed them up. I then atached the bag toppers with double sided tape. And these fun treat bags are ready to pass out on Halloween!
