Hi there! Welcome to day 2 of our Spring Sneak Peek Week! All this week I am sharing cards showcasing our newest collection which will be available for purchase this Friday!
Card No. 1: Today I am sharing card ideas using our newest panda stamp set called Bighearted Bears which is perfect for Valentine's Day and so much more! This set comes with a little post office mailbox, letters, and bears in so many new cute poses. I also was able to pair two of the new pandas with the panda on the top of the mailbox from our Panda Party Stamps so they mix and match for double the fun. For my background, I started by cutting clouds from masking material using our Comic Strip Everyday Dies and then inked over them using Tumbled Glass distress ink before pulling up the masks to reveal the white cardstock beneath.
For the buildings behind my bears, I stamped and colored the border from our Charming City Stamps. When I was done I felt like the buildings were drawing the eye away from the scene in the foreground too much so I cut a piece of vellum and adhered it to the back of an arched window I cut using our Stitched Arch Dies. This was just what my scene needed to frame the scene and make the buildings feel a bit hazy in the background like they would be in real life. Lastly, I inked up varying shades of red cardstock for our layered Brilliant Banner 2 Dies and heat-embossed my greeting, pairing the word "love" from our Love & Light Stamps with the words "sending" and "your way" from the Panda Party Stamps.
Card No. 2: Up next is a cute Parisian scene, mixing the bears from Bighearted Bears and Panda Party with the Eiffel Tower and cafe table and chair set from our Paris Afternoon Stamps. The real star of the show though is the cobblestone from our new Sprawling Surfaces Stamps. This set comes with 3 unique "flooring" or outdoor surfaces to create realistic scenes with vanishing focal points or "forced perspective". If you are a fan of some of the amazing artists who do this freehand, these fun borders now allow you to look like a pro with the help of a stamp set that does the heavy lifting for you. For this card, I colored the cobblestone with a no-line coloring technique, but once again I felt like the colors I chose were too bold with everything else I had going on so I was able to subdue them by wrapping my border strip in a sheet of vellum and adhering it with flaps to the back so I didn't have to mess with trying to hide the adhesive.
To create the shrubs in the background, I used our Fluffy Clouds Border Dies and inked them up with mowed lawn distress ink. For my greeting, I paired the die-cut word "sending" from our new Gift Card Envelope Dies (to be shared more tomorrow) with the words "Valentine's Day" from our Bighearted Bears Stamps and the "wishes" word from our Christmas Cookie Stamps. The same "wishes" word can also be found in our Truckloads of Love Stamps and Reindeer Games Stamps. The little pink pennant strip they were stamped on was cut using one of the dies from our Notebook Photo Corners Dies.
Card No. 6: For my last card I kept envisioning a pile of letters to go with the darling mailbox from our new Bighearted Bears stamps so I stamped and cut out many little letter masks so I could stamp a section of them, cover them in masks, stamp another layer, move the masks, and repeat until I had a proper-sized letter pile. I added the little panda from our Panda Party Stamps to a thought bubble from our Comic Strip Speech Bubbles Dies and a thin stitched frame using our Frilly Frames Herringbone Dies.
Here's a closer look at our new Bighearted Bears Stamps & Dies and Sprawling Surfaces Stamps used today and available for purchase on Friday, January 5th.

Love the pandas. One of my most memorable Valentine’s was a cross country ski across a frozen lake. Not sure they will have it this year- it has been too warm!
ReplyDeleteThe pandas are adorable. I don’t really have an outstanding Valentine’s Day memory but I enjoy coming up with card ideas to send valentines to my nieces and nephews each year.
ReplyDeleteI don' think I've had any memorable valentine's days! But I enjoy making cards and treats for my loved ones!
ReplyDeleteThe pandas are darling. I can't say I have any particular memorable Valentine's Day. We don't do much other than exchange cards.
ReplyDeleteAdorable pandas; such a versatile, sweet collection. My most memorable Valentine's was a few years back when my husband bought me new cycling shoes for my road bike and yes, they're red! I love them!

So cute. I can't say I have a most memorable Valentine's day. We don't do much.
ReplyDeleteThe pandas are sooo cute! Once a boyfriend got me an electric blanket because I was always freezing at night and the way he gave it to me was by laying it on my bed with rose petals
ReplyDeleteUh oh pandemonium! 😍So cute!
ReplyDeleteI love these pandas. Super cute cards!
ReplyDeleteLoving the pandas. My most memorable Valentine's Day was in 1986. It was my wedding day and I was so sick. I had inner ear infections in both ears and a fever of 103 degrees. I could hardly stand up without feeling like I was going to fall over. I will never forget that day.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with the sprawling surfaces!!! This looks like a game changer!!!! Our Valentines tradition is my hubby bringing home dinner for me and all the kids!!! Eat on paper plates and watch a movie as a family!
ReplyDeleteThe pandas are adorable! I can't say wehave any particular memorable Valentine's Day. We don't do much other than exchange cards.
ReplyDeletesweet pandas!!! - love Valentine's Day - always get chocolate from my lovely husband - YUM:)
ReplyDeleteMy most memorable Valentine was when my high school sweetheart wrote in giant chalk letters that he loved me at the entrance of our school in the middle of the night, for me and everyone to see on Valentines Day 😆
ReplyDeleteI looove the panda stamp set and those floor scene builders are a total must have!!
I don’t know why it posted anonymous…it was me LOL
DeleteLove the Sprawling Surfaces stamps - they will be very useful.
ReplyDeleteSo cute with the panda bears. Best Valentines was the birth of my first grandchild. It will be 18 years this February.
ReplyDeleteSweet cards with these cute pandas!
ReplyDeleteNo special Valentine's Day that really stands out to me. We usually go out to either lunch or dinner on that day.
I know how I'm spending $$$ on Friday...these stamps are so versatile.
ReplyDeleteThese items all look amazing!! A dear friend's bday is 2/14 so some of my best ones have been spent w/ her. My husband and I went once to a 5-star restaurant... Overrated, IMO. I just enjoyed being with him.

Lovely surfaces set paired with the darling pandas. I've never really celebrated Valentine's Day so I don't have any particular memories.
ReplyDeleteOmg I'm so excited I love pandas!
ReplyDeleteAdorable Pandas!! My sister got married on Valentines day in Vegas w/ Elvis! It was lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!!! Well, I had a boyfriend who I'd been going out with for 18 months break up with me on Valentine's Day. I was seriously devastated for quite some time.
ReplyDeleteLove the bears, Valentine’s Day colors are always great and cheer me up.
ReplyDeleteThis pandas are so cute and one all their postions. I don't have a really memorable Valentines Day, I'm too old. LOL. Just another day in paradise, I say to my hubby!
ReplyDeleteLove it all. Those bears are super sweet.
ReplyDeleteI love pandas! Great choice for a loveable critter. I can't say that I have a memorable Valentine's Day. I do know my husband is not "into" celebrating it. The first year of dating, I got him a basket with cookies, chocolate, a stuffed animal and such...come to find out - except for ice cream, he doesn't really eat sweets. (Not to worry: 30+ years later, our kids order dessert and I can share with them! ;-) )
ReplyDeletePandas are so darned ca-uuute! Love them. No memorable Valentine's Day. We usually just go out to dinner and that makes my day when there's no cooking! lol
ReplyDeleteYour pandas are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI've had a great Valentines Day with my Husband he purchased me a diamond heart
ReplyDeletenecklace along with long stem Pink Roses & spent the weekend down Atlantic City
having a several great dinners, along with seeing several shows at different Casinos.
My most memorable Valentine's Day was with my hubby. He bought me roses and took me to dinner at my fave restaurant. BTW - I love the pandas!
ReplyDeleteMy most memorable was probably when my little boyfriend in Jr High took me to an ice cream shop and brought me flowers. It was the first time someone had treated me as special for Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteGetting flowers the first time from my husband many years ago.
ReplyDeleteMy husband proposed to me 26 years ago on Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteThose bighearted bears are adorable! I need more pandas! ❤️🐼 haha most memorable vday might be when it happens during lunar new year here! We celebrated as a family and more! 😍
ReplyDeleteThe little panda bears are adorable. 🐼
ReplyDeleteMy most memorable Valentine’s Day was when I got engaged! A beautiful sparkling diamond ring makes a gorgeous Valentine’s Day gift - and a gift that’s difficult to top!
ReplyDeleteI adore the panda bears. So cute and sweet. My most memorable Valentine’s Day was when I started a new job and it turned out to be great.
ReplyDeletePanda's are a favorite of my daughter and granddaughter. Can't wait to make cards for them!
ReplyDeleteI really like the card with the bears and balloons. My most memorable V-Day was my husband's gift to me, a diamond for my engagement ring. I mean we had been married for 5 years, but without an engagement ring, due to our financial situation. But the diamond is gorgeous and was worth the wait.
ReplyDeleteLove the pandas on the bike! Cute cards!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a special Valentine memory to share.
ReplyDeleteValentines day isn't too big in our house...we try to remember that each day should be use to show our love. But each Valentines' Day I do make cards for my hubby and kids.
