Frilly Frames Cards with Franci and Mona

Hi there and happy Wednesday! Franci here with you today with a "Best fishes" card showcasing lots of the new items from the latest release! I'm in love with this card, these critters are adorable and have such happy faces, everything on this project make me smile!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Frilly Frames Stripes Dies Catch A Wave Dies Sending Sunshine Slice Of Summer Summer Themed Cards by Franci Vignoli and Mona Toth

I started by die cutting the new Frilly Frames Stripes Dies out of some white cardstock and I backed it up with a yellow decorated paper from the Flirty Flowers Paper pack. Then I mounted everything on to my white card base. I stamped lots of images from these new sets: Best FishesSending Sunshine and Seasonal Trees. I colored them with Copics and die cut them all out with coordinated dies.

I also die cut 2 little clouds using the new Fluffy Clouds dies. I love this set because 2 clouds are meant to be die cut and the other one leaves beautiful stitched cloudy details on to the cardstock. I can't wait to use these to create beautiful dry embossed details on to another project soon!

I die cut another Frilly Frame without the inside piece out of white cardstock and I created a wavy border with the Catch a Wave dies set, plus I die cut the largest oval from the Stitched Ovals dies set.

I sponged some light blue ink on to my wave and some brown shades on to my oval to create the ocean and the desert island elements for my scene. I added also some details to my brown hill to create a sand effect: just mark little circles with multiples brown colors of Copics, add some little splatters with the same ink u used for ink blending and finally add some more little dots with a white gel pen.

I glued everything down with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive and I stamped my sentiment at the bottom of the card. Finally I added some white embellishments to mimic some bubbles. I love, love, love that cute hammerhead shark, I think it's my favorite ocean themed critter ever!

Hope you like my card and thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hi crafty friends! It's Mona here, today I am showing you an another yummy card featuring the Slice of Summer stamp set with the new Frilly Frames Stripes dies.

I started the card making with stamp layering. For the stamping I used Hybrid Inks from Scrapbook.com. For the lemon I used the Yellow Group and for the watermelon I used the Rose and Green groups. When the stamp layering was done I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies.

When it was done I created the background with the new Frilly Frames Stripes dies. I absolutely love that the inside of this die is removable so you can play with the variations.

Next I heat embossed the sentiments to a pink and dark green cardstock.

In the end I styled my card and adhered the tasty images to my card base, embellished the card and it was done. Thank you very much for reading through my post, I hope that you have enjoyed it and I have inspired you! If you like my creations let's be friends on Instagram. :)

Hawaiian Hibiscus Cards with Juliana and Angelica

Hello Friends! It's Juliana here today to share a card I created using the Hawaiian Hibiscus Stamp Set! To give it a little extra sparkle, I've paired it with another fun new product by Therm O Web. Keep reading to check out all the details!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Hawaiian Hibiscus Frilly Frame Dies Fancy Frames Dies Hello Word Die Hello Card Aloha Card by Juliana Michaels and Angelica Conrad

As always, I started with some stamping. I stamped the various layers of the hibiscus using the gorgeous Premium Hybrid Inks by Scrapbook.com. For the flowers I used the Pink Group which consists of Ballet Slipper, Pink Lemonade, Carnival Pink, Havana Red and for the center I used Daffodil. When using layering stamps, I sometimes find it easier to line up the layers if I stamp the smallest piece first. With these flowers, I stamped the stamen first and then started with the largest flower image and the lightest ink color and progressed through the flower. When I do it this way, I always seem to get things to line up better. To finish off the stamping, I used Pear, Guacamole and Olive for the leaves. Once all the stamping was complete, I die cut the images using the Hawaiian Hibiscus Dies.

Now it's time to add the extra sparkle I mentioned. I die cut a piece of the white cardstock using the inside die from the Frilly Frames Striped Die to create a mask. I placed this on top of another piece of white cardstock and held it in place with Therm O Web Purple Tape. Using the using the Deco Foil Stencil Pal I applied a layer of Therm O Web Glitz Glitter Gel in Turquoise Sea. I then lifted up the mask and allowed the gel to dry. While it was drying I die cut another piece of white cardstock, this time using the outside die from the Frilly Frames Striped Die. Once the gel was dry, I adhered these piece together and then adhered both of them to a piece of green cardstock.

With the background finished, I then created a cluster design with the Hawaiian Hibiscus images. I used double sided foam tape to adhere them to the card front. To complete the card, I stamped Aloha using the Havana Red Ink onto a banner die cut using the Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this bit of inspiration using the Hawaiian Hibiscus Stamp Set. See you next time!

---------------------------------------------------------

Hi friends! Angelica here with a new card to share today. I have always loved Sunny Studio Stamps layered stamps, and the new Hawaiian Hibiscus stamp set is no different. The details in this set are amazing!

I started off with the stamping process. I used a stamp platform so I could make several flowers and leaves quickly. Each flower has four layers to stamp, and a small Style stamp (the yellow pollen stem in the middle), and the leaves have three layers. After I finished stamping, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For a simple background, I die cut yellow card stock with the scalloped Rectangle from the Frilly Frames Stripes Dies, and embossed white card stock with the Sunburst Embossing folder. I added the panels to an A2 size card base with double-sided adhesive. I picked out a few flowers and leaves for my bouquet, and attached them to the card with adhesive foam squares. I used the Hello Word die to die-cut my sentiment. My final touch was adding Crystal Glaze to the word after attaching it to the card.

I love how this card turned out. It’s so simple, yet the colors are so vibrant! I hope I have given you ideas on how to use this stamp set. That’s all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Seasonal Trees Cards with Eloise and Leanne

Hello friends, Eloise here and today I have a card using the Seasonal Trees Stamp Set. This set is perfect for scene building and honestly one of my favourites from the release, but instead of using in conjunction with other sets, I used it on its own today.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Seasonal Trees Sending Sunshine Fluffy Clouds Dies Sunny Sentiments Everyday Cards by Eloise Blue and Leanne West

I started off with stamping out the trees, plus some additional images from Seasonal Trees and the parrot from Sending Sunshine onto some white cardstock and coloured them in with Copic Markers. I then cut them out and set them off to the side.

(Copic Markers Used: YG06, G03, G05, G09 / YG11, G21, G24, G43 / YG61, YG63, YG67, G28 / YG01, YG23, YG07, YG17 / Y23, Y32, YR24, YR27 / YR00, YR02, YR12, YR18 / R14, R27, R29, R39 / Y11, Y13, Y15, Y19

For my background, I cut a piece of watercolour cardstock to 3 1/2” x 6” and used washi tape to mark off each 1 1/2”. I then used Distress Oxide Inks to ink blend each section according to the season. I used yellows for Summer, purples, reds and oranges for Autumn, blues for Winter and light blues for Spring. Once they were all ink blended, I sprinkled on some water and dried it off with a heat tool.

(Distress Oxides Used: Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber / Wilted Violet, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin / Blueprint Sketch, Faded Jeans, Mermaid Lagoon / Salty Ocean, Broken China)

Next, I added foam tape onto the backs of all my images and adhered them into place. I also adhered all the additional images into their respective places as well. For my sentiment I decided to use a simple ‘Hello’, so I white heat embossed the ‘Hello’ sentiment from Sunny Sentiments onto a black strip, added foam tape on the back and adhered it onto my scene. Lastly, I cut down a white woodgrain card base to 6” wide by 8” tall, scored it at 4” and adhered my panel on top.

That finished up my card for today, I hope you enjoyed and feel inspired. See you next week.

------------------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone! Leanne here and I have a very cheerful card to share today. My card features a fun scene I’ve built with the help of some images from the new Seasonal Trees stamp set. I’ve also used some of the new pattern paper which perfectly sets the tone for my card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Seasonal Trees Sending Sunshine Fluffy Clouds Dies Sunny Sentiments Everyday Cards by Eloise Blue and Leanne West

I started with an A2 card base. I covered the front with cloud pattern paper from the Summer Splash paper pack. I created two layers of grassy hills with the Woodland Borders dies and a green gingham pattern from the Classic Gingham paper pack. I stamped and Copic colored the tree, birds, birdhouse, and tiny flowers from Seasonal Trees. I also used a sun image and greeting from the Sunny Sentiments stamp set.

I added the images to the scene and stamped the greeting directly onto the cloud paper. To create a little extra depth to the sky, I added two die cut clouds that I layered around the sun. These clouds were cut out using the new Fluffy Clouds dies

Thanks for joining me today! I’ll have another April release project to share next Monday. Have a fantastic week!

Guest Designer Spotlight: Fabulous Flamingos Cards with Keeway Tsao

Hello there! It’s Keeway Tsao from Kiwi Koncepts and I’m excited to be back guest blogging here again! The Summer 2019 release is absolutely fantastic and got me pumped up for the warmer weather. Today, I’ll be showcasing the Fabulous Flamingos stamp set in two flamazing cards!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Fabulous Flamingos Frilly Frames Stripes Dies Fluffy Clouds Birthday Card Summer Themed Card by Keeway Tsao

I stamped all the flamingos in the set in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with Copic markers. Then, I used the matching dies to die cut the images out.

I created an ink blended background with Evergreen Borough, Broken China, and Antique Linen Distress Oxide inks. Then, I heat embossed the sentiment in silver towards to top center.

For the shaker, I created a white frame to encase some sparkly sequins and chunky glitter by using the Frilly Frames Chevron Die and a basic rectangle die to cut out the center.

I closed the shaker area with only one layer of foam since I was working which much finer shaker components. The chunky glitter sure adds a beautiful effect doesn’t it!

For my next card, I also used the foliage images in the Fabulous Flamingos stamp set. I love all the variety! I also stamped the images here in dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with Copic markers, and die cut with the matching dies.

I wanted to create a scene with the bottom looking like water, so I ink blended a background with Chipped Sapphire bottom up and Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks top down. For the top half I used the Fluffy Clouds Die to create a stitched cloud pattern. I also die cut a couple clouds out of white card stock to add.

I heat embossed the sentiment ‘happy summer’ in white in the bottom center. Then, I added a line of foliage right at the edge of the water. I added my flamingo trio last to the card with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a beautiful weekend!
