Dashing Dachshund Card with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, back today with this adorable slimline card showcasing Santa and three cute pups from Dashing Dachshund, busy delivering presents on Christmas night. Fingers crossed we're on the nice list!

I started off by stamping my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I used the matching dies to cut them all, and colored everything using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and Graph'it brush markers. Here is the detailed list of the stamp sets I used:

• Dashing Dachshund - dachshunds, sweaters, reindeer antlers
• Penguin Pals - candy canes
• Snowman Kisses - snowflakes
• North Pole - nice list
• Reindeer Games - strings, bells
• Santa Claus Lane - Santa, sleigh, sacks

I cut letters to make "Ho Ho Ho" out of gold mirror cardstock and white cardstock using the Chloe Alphabet, and attached the white letters behind the gold mirror ones to create a border.

Next I cut three different slimline panels that I layered on top of each other, attached the images and letters using 1mm foam squares and liquid glue, and stamped "Wishing you a holly jolly Christmas" from Santa Claus Lane below the dachshunds. As always I finished my card by adding highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.
