Designer's Choice Cards with Vanessa and Audrey

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a summer card using the adorable Passionate Penguins for a beach scene.

I first die-cut a stitched panel from white cardstock, using the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies. Now I inked the top part with Broken Glass Distress Oxide ink and adhered the panel to the card base. I die-cut the sand and the waves from white cardstock, trimmed them with the stitched rectangle die, inked the sand with Brushed Corduroy and the waves with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks, added little ink droplets and adhered the layers to the card.

After I had added clouds and the bird, I stamped my images. I colored them with Copics, die-cut the pieces with the matching dies and adhered the elements to the card, popping-up some with foam-tape.

Hello friends! Audrey here with a fun summer themed card which mixes older and new stamp sets! One of my favorite things about Sunny Studio is that all of the products coordinate so well together! 

To create this card, I started with a piece of white cardstock cut to 4.25" x 5.5". I used a cloud stencil from my stash and Tumbled Glass Distress ink to create a cloudy sky. I stamped a colored the sea and sand image and some clouds from the Ocean View stamp set, then die cut them with the coordinating Ocean View dies. Then, I stamped a colored one of the cute seals from the Sealiously Sweet stamp set, along with some additional beach accessories. The beach ball and flip flops work so well with the Ocean View images! Those were die cut with the coordinating Sealiously Sweet dies and popped up with foam tape. 

I stamped a sentiment from Sealiously Sweet on a die cut banner and popped it up at the top of the scene, and to finish off my card, I added some white gel pen accents to all of the images and Diamond Stickles to the ocean water.
