Beautiful Bluebells Card with Isha

Hello everyone! Isha here with you with a clean and simple card featuring the new Beautiful Bluebells stamps and dies. These are lovely layering stamps, which are easy to line up and give a beautiful dimension without having to do much work.

To start, I die-cut an arch using the Stitched Arch dies. I then sponged yellow ink to the top and side. Adhere the negative layer to a yellow cardbase.

I stamped the florals and stems using pinkfresh studio inks. Adhere the arch using 3d foam, adhere the florals. Stamp the banner and the sentiment from the Little Birdie stamp set, die-cut using the coordinating dies.

Stamp the butterflies from the Watering Cans stamp set onto vellum using versamark ink, sprinkle WOW! opaque white embossing powder, heat set. Add color using copic markers. Die-cut using the coordinating dies. Adhere to the card. Hope you enjoyed today's card. Thank you for dropping by and have a nice day!

Puddle Jumpers Card with Leanne

Hello! Leanne here and I have a fun card to share today featuring the most adorable little duck images. These sweet images can be found in the Puddle Jumpers stamp set. When I first saw this set, I kept envisioning a rainbow scene so that's what went with for this card. 

There's a few ways you can incorporate a rainbow into a scene .... stamping, die cuts, coloring with markers, or use a stencil which is what I chose to do. I stenciled the rainbow right in the center of the scene. I used the following Catherine Pooler ink colors for the rainbow bands: Be Mine, Tiki Torch, Grass Skirt, & Cummerbund. I trimmed the scene panel down to 3.75" x 5". I very lightly inked blended the Cummerbund ink around the top and sides edges of the panel. Then I used the same blue ink for splatter and stamping the rain drops.  

I colored the ducks and puddle images with Copic markers in these colors: W3, T1, YR12, YR18, Y00, Y32, Y35, R20, BG11, BG13. I used the coordinating Puddle Jumpers dies to cut them out. I then adhered the images with thin foam squares. To stamp the sentiment, I used my Misti and curved the stamps to follow the bend in the rainbow. 

Lastly I added decorative corner die cuts. I used one the Fancy Frames Rectangle dies to die cut a frame from aqua blue card stock. Then I simply cut off the corners and adhered them to my scene panel. Once my scene was complete, I adhered it to an A2 size soft yellow card base.

Tree Branch Die Focused Card with Rachel

Hello crafty friends! It's Rachel here with a vertical A2 sized card that features the new Tree Branch Die Set along with the previously released, adorable Little Birdie Stamps Set. 

I first stamped my birds and birdhouse onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then used Copic Markers to color them. (Birds: G000, G00, BG34, BG75; Birdhouse: RV00, RV10, RV63, BG90; Eggs: 0, C00, C1). Once I finished coloring, I then used the coordinating Little Birdie Die Set to cut them out.

For my background sky, I blended some pink inks from the Pinkfresh Fairy Dust Ink Cubes Set (Sparkling Rose and Ballet Slipper) onto a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of smooth white card stock. I started with my darker pink at the top and worked my way toward my lighter color pink near the bottom. To add some texture and interest to my background, I also splattered some diluted Copic Opaque White Paint as well as added a few pink dots from some pink Copic Markers (RV63, RV00). Once dry, I then trimmed this piece to 4" x 5.25" and layered it onto a standard A2 sized white card base.

I then die cut two branches from white card stock using the Tree Branch Die. I die cut the leaves from both light green and dark green card stock pieces and adhered them to my card base with liquid adhesive. Next, I stamped my sentiment with black ink. Lastly, I adhered my stamped images with 3D foam adhesive tape to allow them to slightly pop-up from my card base.

Sprawling Surfaces Card with Cathy

Hey friends! Cathy here today sharing a fun friendship card featuring the Sprawling Surfaces Stamps. When I first saw the wood plank stamp in this set, I immediately thought of the wooden boardwalks that we have on a trail near our home. There’s a creek that runs next to it and it’s very wooded. My husband and I frequently ride our bikes on the trail, so I had a fun time creating this little scene with the adorable bike riding duo from the Bighearted Bear Stamps.

To begin, I lightly inked a soft sky with Tumbled Glass Distress ink on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white cardstock panel. I then stamped the sentiment 3/4" from the top and centered using stamps from the Garden Critters Stamps and the Bighearted Bear Stamps.

Next, I inked a 2” x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock with Peeled Paint Distress ink and die-cut the top edge using a Mini Grass Border Die. I adhered it to the bottom of the sky background panel. The Autumn Tree Dies were the perfect size for my scene so I die-cut 2 trees and leaves from white cardstock and inked them with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink and Twisted Citron Distress ink. I adhered them slightly overlapping the right and left sides of the background piece and trimmed the excess with scissors along the edges. To add a pretty purple to my card, I die-cut small and large flowers using the Wonderful Windows Dies. I inked the large flowers in the trees with Dusty Concord Distress ink and added white gel pen details. I Copic colored the small flowers and adhered them towards the top of the grass piece. (I reserved some of the small flowers to tuck behind the boardwalk) I then adhered the background piece to an A2 card front.

For my creek, I stamped the pond from the Country Scenes Stamps on a 2” x 5 1/2" piece of Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock, colored it with Copics and die-cut it using the coordinating dies. I then adhered it even with the bottom of the card. Since the boardwalks on our trail have wooden beams along the sides where there’s water or drop-offs, I stamped a few birdhouse posts from the A Bird’s Life Stamps to add along the edge of the wood stamp from the Sprawling Surfaces Stamps. I colored these with Copics, fussy cut them out and adhered my boardwalk along the bottom of the card. I also tucked in the remaining small flowers behind it.

To finish, I stamped the biking pandas from the Bighearted Bear Stamps and 2 butterflies from the Bunnyville Stamps on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock, colored them with Copics and die-cut them using the coordinating dies. Since Spring days are often breezy, I added a few fallen flowers to the boardwalk.

Big Bunny Card with Nicky

Happy Friday everyone, this is Nicky with you today on the Sunny Studio blog and I'm sharing a playful Easter card with you featuring the super duper cute Big Bunny stamp set.

I kicked things off by using the Dotted Diamond Landscape Die to die cut the background panel which I then softly ink blended in some dreamy pastel colours.  I glued this to my card base.

The next task was to stamp the bunny image three times with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and I coloured using the following Copic marker combinations:

Bunnies - C3, C1, C00
Blushes - R85, R83, R81, R000
Yellow - Y15, YR31, Y0000
Pink - RV02, RV00
Mint - G00, G000

The images were die cut with the Big Bunny Dies and arranged on the background which meant they were hanging over the edges and so once adhered with glue I flipped the panel over and cut back neatly to the edges of the card base.

I popped a small piece of dimensional foam tape under the bunny's ear in the centre of the card where they are layered one on top of one another and under the bouquet and Easter egg.

To complete the card I highlighted a couple of points with a white gel pen and gave the bunnies eyelashes. I die cut a frame using the Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies and backed it with foam tape and applied to the background and finally I stamped and die cut the sentiments and applied with foam tape also.
