Dashing Dachshund Cards with Isha and Kavya

Hello everyone, Isha here! Today I have this adorable card featuring the Dashing Dachshund stamps and dies. I adore the little sweater and the cap we have as an accessory. 

I started by taking a pink pattern from the Joyful Holiday Paper pack. Adhere this to a white card base. Next, I die-cut the mat layer from the Mini Mat and Tag 4 die set. Adhere post-it notes next to the stitched line and sponge salvaged patina distress ink to create the sky and snowbanks. Stamp the snowflake using the same colour.

Stamp the images from the Dashing Dachshund stamp, colour and die-cut using the coordinating dies. The gifts were created using the Holiday Express stamp and die and the Penguin Party Stamp and die. Adhere all the images to the card. Add Nuvo crystal drops to the snowflakes and the snowy hills.

Hi folks! Kavya here with another fun project using a mini stamp! If you love creating cute critter scenes, this is the perfect addition to your stamp collection. I used it to create a fun Christmas scene but it can be used in almost any scenario! 

I first started iff by creating my background by ink blending Wilted Violet and Milled Lavender distress oxide inks for the sky and Speckled Egg for the snowy land. Then, I stamped and colored images from Winter Scenes, Santa Claus Lane, Dashing Dachshund and North Pole stamps. Adhere all the images on top of the background using foam tape.

I am still in the process of setting up my craft room in my new apartment so I haven’t had the chance to unpack the box containing my heat embossing tool but you can easily add a sentiment at the top if you’d like! Splatter some white paint for faux snow and you are done :)
