Garden Fairy Cards with Tammy and Candice

Hi friends! It's Tammy with a "magical" slimline card featuring the sweet and adorable Garden Fairy stamp set.

I began by stamping and then coloring the Garden Fairy images with Copic markers. I then die cut the colored images with the Garden Fairy Dies. 

Next, I cut a white frame using the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies. I then cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended the background with Shaded Lilac, Kitsch Flamingo, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inks. I cut a grassy border using the Slimline Nature Borders Dies, ink blended it with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn inks and attached to my background. I white heat embossed the little sparkle images onto the background and stamped the sentiment along the grassy border using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Lastly, I arranged the images onto my card, attaching some with foam tape for dimension, then  mounted my scalloped card front onto a white cardstock card base to finish up my card.

Hello friends! Candice with you today and I have a magical card for you today using the sweet Garden Fairy stamp set!

For the background base, I first die cut layers of the Comic Strip Speech Bubble die, glued them together and trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock to fit behind. I inked this piece with cracked pistachio, worn lipstick and spun sugar oxide inks and splattered with these colors and white paint using a damp paintbrush.

Next, I stamped the images all found in the amazing Garden Fairy stamp set, colored them with copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I arranged them in the boxes with either glue or foam tape and tucked the sentiments in the smaller boxes.

To create the awesome light up window and lanterns, I punched holes in the areas I wanted the lights to shine and used the Pear Blossom Press Ez-Lights and attached behind the panel.
