Gift Card Envelope Die Focused Card with Nicky

Hi everyone this is Nicky back with you today and I have a new project for Sunny Studio Stamps and I created this sweet Valentine card using the Gift Card Envelope die.  

I started by creating a white A2 panel of cardstock. Over this I layered a slightly smaller panel of pearlescent pink vellum and over the top of that I layered a panel of the Subtle Grey Tones patterned cardstock that was die cut to size using the Stitched Rectangle Die. I backed this panel with some white craft foam and adhered. This whole background panel was adhered to the card base.

I used more of the same vellum to die cut and assemble the Gift Card Envelope. Whilst of course it is sized perfectly to hold a gift card, this die is useful well beyond this one purpose.  You could do what I did and create a little love note within or it could be used to hold a handmade gift tag and adorn the top of a gift among other ideas. 

My little love note was created from white cardstock, I die-cut the lacy border using the Eyelet Lace Border dies and used some of the words from the Gift Card Envelope die and some silver cardstock to create the sentiment. The envelope was adhered at an angle on the background and with the little love note semi-tucked inside and just barely adhered with removable tape in case the recipient wanted to take it out.

I stamped the images I was needing to work with from the Big Hearted Bears stamp set. The images were coloured with the following Copic marker combinations.

Mailbox - C3, C1, C0
Pandas - T6, T5, T4, C1, C0, E40
Blushes - R22, R20, R00
Bicycle - R22, R20, R00, T6, T5, T4
Envelopes - R22, C3, C1, C0

The images were die cut using the coordinating dies and applied with dimensional foam tape and a few points were highlighted with a white gel pen and with that, this card was done!

Bighearted Bears Card & Treat Bag with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here with you today, super happy to be back with this lovely card and cute matching Treat Bag Topper showcasing the adorable pandas from Bighearted Bears. Love those little guys so much!

I started off by stamping all my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I cut them all using the matching dies, and colored everything using my alcohol markers. And because pandas have neutral colors, I decided to go for a whole rainbow theme. Along with Bighearted Bears, here are the other stamp sets I used: ● Lovable llama - bow ● Panda Party - banners ● Special Day - hearts.

Next I worked on the card, and started by cutting several elements to build my little background. I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Dots & Stripes Pastels blue polka dot panel, a Comic Strip Speech Bubble frame out of an Amazing Argyle wooden textured pattern paper, and another frame out of a Dots & Stripes Pastels green stripe paper. I kept the four inside pieces of that green stripe paper, and used the grass border die from Picket Fence Border Dies to cut four small grass sections.

I attached my wooden frame on the blue polka dot panel using 1mm foam squares, and added the grass borders using the same adhesives. I white heat embossed my "Love you beary much" greeting from Bighearted Bears on the upper part of the bottom left hand square, and then attached all my images using 1mm and 2mm foam squares. Added morning dew nuvo drops on the hearts, and highlights on the images using a white gel pen, and moved on to the Treat Bag Topper. 

I used the Treat Bag Topper main die three times to cut the different parts of my little landscape out of the same pattern papers as before, assembled everything using liquid glue, and attached my images using 1mm foam squares.

And that's it! I really love how both pieces turned out, and those pandas are so very cute. I can't wait to use them on more cards! Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next time.

Love Birds Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here and today I am back on the blog with a card featuring the sweet Love Birds stamp and die set. There are two pairs of birds in this set, and they are both super cute. Although it’s still very much cold and rainy outside, I wanted to create a happy Spring card with lots of flowers.

My background is made from white card stock and cut with the outer die of the Frilly Frames Stripes die. Next, I inked up this panel with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry and a brick stencil from my stash. To create a border, I die cut the piece with a smaller rectangle from a nesting die set and mounted both pieces to a white card base.

As a scene for my sweet birds I added a window from the Wonderful Window Dies and backed it with a piece of light blue paper. I also cut the flower box and a bunch of small flowers from this set (and a few from the Gift Card Envelope Dies).

Then I stamped and cut the birdies and branch from the Love Birds stamp. All the images and the flowers were colored with my Copics in fun colors. I used shades of pink and blue and they work so well together.

Next, I added the branch and birds to the scene. And finally, I started layering the flowers onto the branch and inside the flower box. The sentiment was selected from the Love Birds stamp set and stamped onto a small white strip with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Finally, I sprinkled a few Chrystal Clear Jewels as embellishments.

Gift Card Envelope Die Focused Card with Isha

Hello everyone! Isha here with you with a spring theme cute card featuring the new Gift Card Envelope die. I made this for a friend in France and the older Paris Afternoon stamp was a great help :)

I started by creating the sky. Simply sponge kitsch flamingo ink through the cloud stencil. Next I die-cut grass from both the Mini Grass Border dies, spong them with mowed lawn oxide inks.  Adhere to the cloud panel and die-cut using the Frilly Frames Quatrefoil die.

Die-cut the envelope using vellum, flowers from the Gift Card Envelope die. Adhere behind the grassy hill. Stamp the Eiffel Tower from the Paris Afternoon stamp, die-cut using the coordinating dies. Stamp the bear from the Bighearted Bears stamp set, color using copic and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Stamp the sun from the Garden Critters stamp set, color and die-cut using the coordinating dies.

Die-cut the rectangle from the Mini Mat and Tag 3 dies, sponge ink and stamp the word Merci. Stamp the rest of the sentiment from the Lovey Dovey stamp, die-cut using the coordinating dies. Assemble everything together. To finish, add color to the flowers using copic markers, add sparkle crystal to the center.
