North Pole Cards with Leanne and Isha

Hi there, Leanne here! Are you still working on your Christmas cards? I still am because it never hurts to have a few extra on hand. For today's share, I've created a North Pole comic strip design. If you are short on time for finishing up some last minute holiday cards, this Comic Strip Speech Bubble Dies frame makes it quick and easy to create a fun eye catching design. 

First I gave a white A2 card base a light dusting of Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink. Next I adhered the die cut Comic Strip Speech Bubble frame which is cut from a piece of patterned paper from the Classic Gingham 6x6 paper pad. I Copic colored images from the North Pole stamp set - colors used are listed below.  

Copic colors: N2, N4, N6, C1, C3, E00, E02, R00, E41, E42, E43, E44, R32, R35, R39, YG11, YG13, YG18, BG01, BG02

Next I added the images in each window. That's the fun part for me, arranging all the little scenes. I adhered them flat to the card so this one will be safe to mail. Lastly I added several tiny die cut stars as embellishment. The star dies are included in the Comic Strip set.

Hello everyone! Isha with you today with a fun slimline card featuring the North Pole stamp and dies. 

I started by stamping all the images from the North Pole stamps, the trees from the Winter Scenes stamps and the mountains from the Spring Scenes stamps using memento black ink onto Neenah solar white card. Color the images using Copic markers. Die cut them using the North Pole dies, the trees from the Winter Scenes dies and the mountains from the Spring Scenes dies.

Die-cut the snow drifts using the Slimline Nature border dies. Sponge tumbled glass distress inks to the edges. Take a white card layer and adhere to the snow drifts. Adhere all the images to this layer. 

Add Nuvo glitter drop: white blizzard to the snow parts. Add some Icicle stickles to the elves hat bells. Stamp the sentiment. Adhere this panel to a red card base.

Penguin Pals Cards with Ashley and Mayra

Hello friends! It's Ashley with a cute Christmas card featuring one of my favorite new sets - Penguin Pals! I am a total sucker for penguins and these adorable little guys are no exception! I was inspired by one of the sentiments to have them work together to decorate a big Christmas tree!

I started by blending Pinkfresh Studio Soul of Provence inks on white cardstock to create a purple background. I die cut the piece with the stitched frame of Frilly Frames Quatrefoil to add detail, then splattered with white paint for a snowy feel. To complete the snowy background, I used several of the snowflake stamps from Penguin Pals and stamped them randomly in VersaMark ink and embossed with white.

I stamped the penguins from Penguin Pals, the tree from Seasonal Trees, and the star from Merry Mice in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink on white cardstock. I colored everything with Copics and cut them out with the matching dies before adding them to my card. I stacked three penguins to reach the top of the tree with the star and popped the one with lights up with foam tape for dimension. For the sentiment, I combined phrases from Penguin Pals and Merry Mice then stamped them in VersaMark ink on black cardstock and embossed with white. I added the sentiment with a bit more foam tape to finish.

Hello and happy Monday everyone. Mayra here with you today. I am sharing this sweet penguin-themed Christmas card. I used the adorable Penguin Pals stamp set. 

I began by coloring my images using Copic markers. For the gray areas, I used W7, W5, and W3. For the red areas, I used R46, R17, and R05. For the pink areas, I used R00, R01, R21, and R22. 

I then die cut the pieces I would use to create the scene. I used the Slimline Scalloped Frame, and the Slimline Nature Borders dies. I die cut the large rectangle from the Slimline Scalloped Frame set using Bristol Smooth cardstock. I added color to the panel using Distress Oxide inks in the colors Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers. I die cut the snowy hills and ocean water using glitter cardstock. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Trimmings stamp set using black ink.

Sledding Critters and Classy Christmas Cards with Juliana

Hello Sunny Studio friends! It's Juliana and today I'm here to share a couple of Christmas cards that use some of my favorite stamp sets released by Sunny Studio as part of their Winter Release.

This first card is a lift of a shaker card design I created last year using the Santa Claus Lane Stamp Set. This year, I filled the shaker with the adorable Sledding Critters Stamp Set. I just love how the sleigh is filled with some of Sunny Studios favorite critters! I stamped the image, colored it with Copic Markers and die cut it using the coordinating die set. 

You can check out all the details on how I created the shaker part of this card in the Santa Claus Lane Cards blog post.  I then finished off the card with sentiment from the Sledding Critters Stamp Set which I heat embossed with white embossing powder.

For my second card I created a more clean and simple design featuring the Classy Christmas Stamp Set. I stamped and colored the images using Copic Markers and die cut them using the coordinating stamp set.

For the wreath, I die cut the loopy circle frame from the the Snowflake Circle Frame Die twice from kraft cardstock. I then layered on the die cut images from the Classy Christmas Stamp Set using double sided foam adhesive to pop up some of the layers. I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment on a white cardstock panel die cut using the stitched frame from the Frilly Frames Herringbone Die.

Sledding Critters Cards and Video Tutorial with Franci and Candice

Hi there and happy Wednesday! It's Franci here with you today, with an interactive Christmas card showcasing the Sledding Critters set.

Aww look at all those cuties dashing through the snow with their Christmas presents! This set is so cute and I love all the critters together in the sled: you can find a seal, a penguin, a dog and many more.

I thought this set was perfect for an interactive card since being a sled and I chose to make a sliding window one - but I have so many more ideas!

I'd love to create a pull tab one that reveals a sentiment maybe or just one that makes the sled go back and forth ... you can definitely create so many cute winter scene with it.

Hello everyone, it's Candice here with you! Today these cuties are dashing through the snow in their sleigh!

I used these Sunny Studio products to create my scene:

• Sledding Critters stamps & coordinating dies
• Winter Scenes stamps & coordinating dies
• Scenic Route stamps & coordinating dies
• Frilly Frames Lattice dies
• Iridescent Pearls

For my background, I first made the frame by die cutting the lattice and using my trimmer to cut out the center. I then adhered a piece of vellum behind it using scor-tape on the frame edges. I trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth to fit behind the frame, inked it with aged mahogany and victorian velvet and stamped the sentiment along the top.

Next, I stamped the sledding critters, background tree line and trees, colored them with copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I used a white pen to add details to the images. I glued the background tree line to the inked panel and adhered the frame over it. I then used foam tape to add the images and finished with the snow sentiment cut from copper foil paper and some iridescent pearls!
