Dotted Diamond Background Die Focused Card with Marine

Hey crafty friends, Marine here! Thanks so much for joining me today on the blog! I'm happy to be back with this new autumn card showcasing the adorable bear from Holiday Hugs. This set may have the word "Holiday" in its name, you definitely can use it for any occasion, for example on an autumn card.

To make the background, I used the new gorgeous Dotted Diamond Portrait Backdrop. And speaking of which, I started off by cutting a Frilly Frame Eyelet Lace out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, and I added texture to this panel using the Dotted Diamond Portrait Backdrop. And I colored my panel using, from the bottom to the top, worn lipstick, dried marigold and squeezed lemonade. I added texture to my panel using the same inks mixed with water, and did the same with white ink. To finish my card base, I attached my Frilly Frame Eyelet Lace panel on a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Amazing Argyle panel using foam tape.

Next I stamped my images on Transotype perfect coloring paper using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, cut them all using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and Graph'it brush markers.

Before attaching the images on my panel, I cut a banner out of kraft cardstock using a die from Stitched Rectangle, and white heat embossed the "Pumpkins spice & everything nice" greeting from Happy Harvest on top. I attached all my elements, images and banner, on the card base using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, and I finished my card by adding highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.
