Tiki Time Cards with Candice and Kay

Hello! It's Candice back with you this Friday with a fun tropical scene using the great Tiki Time stamp set!

I used these Sunny Studio products to create my scene:

• Tiki Time stamps & coordinating dies
• Tropical Scenes stamps & coordinating dies
• Beach Buddies stamps (sentiment)
• Chloe Alphabet dies
• Stitched Semi-Circle dies
• Stitched Circle Large dies
• Fluffy Clouds dies
• Slimline Pennant dies (waves)
• Crystal Clear jewels

For the background, I first trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth a little smaller than my card front and die cut the stitched semi-circle closer to the top to have room for my letters. I then inked my card front lightly with tumbled glass & squeezed lemonade. I die cut the waves inking them with mermaid lagoon & tumbled glass and the sun inking with fossilized amber & squeezed lemonade.

Next, I stamped the images using the sets listed above, colored them with Copic markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I layered the images with the sun, waves and clouds to create the scene using foam tape or glue to give lots of dimension. I finished with the layered PARADISE with the top layer inked with barn door, the sentiment on a banner, and a sprinkled of crystal clear jewels!

Hi there! Kay here, and I have a card to share with you using the new Tiki Time Stamp set and Tiki Time Coordinating dies! This is my favorite stamp set from the new release! I just love tropical things! This set is so much fun!

So for my card, I created the background by watercoloring Peerless watercolors onto Bristol Board cardstock. When this was dry, I speckled with white ink. For the beach sand, I used Antique Linen distress ink and blended this onto white Bristol board cardstock, and then speckled with Vintage Photo mixed with water.

All of the cute images from the Tiki Time stamp set, were colored with Copic markers, then cut them out with the Tiki Time coordinating dies. I then adhered them all to the background beach scene with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment which is included in the Tiki Time stamp set along the bottom.
