Hello friends!
It's Ashley with a watercolor card today that
I think is on point! I used the new Chloe Alphabet to
create an extra large sentiment. This is my absolute favorite way to use
alphabet dies! I am not creative at all when it comes to coming up with fun
phrases, so I like to use the sentiments already in a set and enlarge one or
two key words.
I started this card by creating a fun rainbow watercolor background. I used my Mission Gold watercolor palette, drying each layer with my heat gun because I am too impatient to wait. I also splattered a little bit of each color at the end before drying it one final time. I then added a jagged edge to the piece with the frame piece of the Frilly Frames Chevron die. I thought the zig zag edges would go really well with the prickly images I had planned!
I stamped my cacti and succulents from Looking Sharp onto some Bristol Smooth paper and colored with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I stamped the little faces on after coloring. I love that the faces are separate! You can pick whichever expression you want and then choose where to stamp it - plant or pot, the choice is yours! I added a few accents with a white gel pen, then used the matching dies to cut everything out. I cut the word "sharp" from black cardstock with the Chloe Alphabet dies, then used Post It tape and a glue tube to make sure I put it on straight on the card. I added a few white highlights to the letters as well. I finished the sentiment with the "looking" from Looking Sharp stamped in VersaMark ink and embossed with white.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Hello everyone. Mayra here with you today, yay!! I am so happy
to be here. I am sharing this thank you card using the new Chloe Alphabet dies. I had so many ideas
for these letters, if only I had more time, lol!! These are awesome.
I started by die-cutting the layers from the Slimline Scalloped Frames die set. The scalloped oval from the Fancy Frames Oval die set, and the letters for the 'thank you' phrase using the Chloe Alphabet dies. I then added a bit of color to the stitched rectangle using Cracked Pistachio, and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks.
Next, I colored the beautiful peonies from the Pink Peonies stamp set using Copic markers. I used R000, R00, RV42, and R22 for the peachy color. For the magenta color, I used RV91, RV63, RV55, RV19, RV66, RV69, and a bit of BV01. For the green areas, I used YG01, YG13, and YG17.
To finish the card I stamped the sentiment from the new Teacher Appreciation stamp set onto a strip of paper and added it under the die-cut 'thank you' phrase.
I hope you like the card I created to share with you today. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I hope you each have a wonderful and blessed day.
