Hello everyone! Isha here with a card featuring the Outback Critters
stamps and dies. This set offers so many cute critters
and it works very well with the existing older sets.:)
To start, I created the background sky, using tattered rose, dried marigold, worn lipstick distress oxide inks. I then die-cut the grass and the grassy hills using the Slimline Nature Borders dies, sponged mustard seed, scattered straw, wild honey distress oxide ink onto the grass. I applied lucky clover, mowed lawn distress oxide to create the grassy hills.
I
then stamped the cute critters from the Outback Critters stamp set,
colored using copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies.
The vines are from the Tropical Scenes stamp set,
colored with copic markers and die-cut using coordinating dies. The
tree is from the Seasonal Trees stamp,
die-cut using the coordinating dies.
I adhered the vines, grass to the sky background, then die-cut the frame using the Fancy Frames rectangle dies. Adhere to the layer. Adhere the layer to the card base. Now assemble the card as per the photo. Stamp sentiment from the Candy Shoppe stamp. To finish, adhere the Crystal Clear Jewels.
Thanks
for dropping by!

Hi folks, Kavya here. I
am back on the blog with another fun card to share with you all! This
week’s card uses the new Outback Critters stamp
set that pairs perfectly with a bunch of previously released products! The main
theme of the card was inspired by a sentiment from the set - ‘G’day Mate’, so I
decided to create a scene with two friends waving to each other!
I first started off by coloring various images from Outback Critters, Tropical Scenes and Spring Showers stamp set. I also modified the land image from Tropical Scenes to create a tiny pond for the alligator :) Later, I ink blended an A2 panel using shades of red and melon dye ink. As always, I splattered some white paint to add some drama. I don’t think I have ever created a critter card without adding paint splatters!
Later, I created the land and grass by using the Slimline Nature Borders die with some linen and green colored cardstock. Then, I arranged all the critters on the ink blended panel and finished it off by adding a die cut sentiment using the newly released Chloe Alphabet Dies.
That’s it! I hope you liked this fun
card that can be used for any occasion :) Be sure to check back tomorrow for
some more fantastic inspiration from our amazing DT!
