Rain Showers Froggy Friendship Card with Vanessa

Hey everyone! Vanessa here with a card mixing various cute stamp sets. The sweet frog from the Froggy Friends set was deserving some love, so I put him on today's card.

I first stamped the Rain Showers stamp with light blue ink all over my cardstock panel. Then I trimmed a rectangle from blue vellum, die-cut the upper edge with the Wavy Border Dies, stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment from Color Me Happy and adhered it to the card.

I stamped the frog, the leaf and the flower onto white cardstock, colored everything with Copics and fussy-cut the images. For more dimension, I adhered the elements with foam tape.

Team Player Sports Themed Birthday Card with Franci

Hi there and happy Wednesday! Franci here with you today with a birthday card featuring the Team Player stamp set, which is just perfect for boys!!

First, I die cut a stitched rectangle out of some white cardstock and colored my background sponging some Spiced Marmelade Distress ink. Then I stamped all of the images in a black Copic friendly ink. I colored my images with Copics and then die cut them with their coordinating dies.

I arranged all of the stamped elements on my panel and adhered them down with foam adhesive. I stamped the sentiment and added some details with a white gel pen. Finally, I mounted my panel onto a white card base.

Purrfect Birthday & Fancy Frames Birthday Card with Nancy

Hey there Sunny Studio fans, Nancy here with a look at the new release Purrfect Birthday stamp set and Fancy Frames Circles dies. I loved all of the different kitties in this set that I decided to color them all! And when it came time to culling them down to a few favorites - I couldn't do it. So I included them all in a kitty birthday card that is sure to bring a smile to a cat lover's face.

The bottom edge of the card was bordered with ink blending using Tumbled Glass Distress ink. All of the kitties were watercolored using Distress Inks for a soft look. A few of the stamped images were popped up with foam tape to create depth in the scene. The Fancy Frames Circle die was used to frame out the sentiment. A few tiny sequins and a clear dew drop was added for a bit of texture.

Ric Rac Borders Birthday Wishes Card with Eloise

Hi friends, Eloise here and today I have a birthday card to share with you all using Ric Rac Borders, Birthday Balloon and the Wishes Word Die.

To begin my card today, I first cut ten borders from Ric Rac Borders out of five colours of cardstock. I used a green, yellow, orange, pink and purple. Once they were all cut out I adhered them in a pattern diagonally onto a white card base with some liquid glue. Next, I pulled the Birthday Balloon stamp set out, and stamped and layered up a blue balloon. I used a dark blue since I feel like it matches my colour scheme better. Once that was stamped, I also stamped a string and cut them out using the coordinating dies and my scissors for the string. I set them aside and worked on my sentiment.

For my sentiment, I cut the Wishes Word Die from some navy blue and black cardstock. I then used liquid glue to layer them up to seem like there was a shadow behind the word. I added foam tape onto the back and adhered it down onto my card base. I then added foam tape to the balloon as well as the string and adhered those down also. I made it seem like the balloon was floating off the 'wishes' word. Last step was to finish off my sentiment, I used the Team Player stamp set and white heat embossed 'birthday' onto a strip of black cardstock, I then adhered that down and adhered it above the 'wishes' word also.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Tiny Dancer Video with Laura Sterckx

Good morning, friends! I'm Laura Sterckx from Making Cards Is Fun and today I'm excited and honored to be guest designing for Sunny Studio Stamps. This time I'm featuring the Tiny Dancers set from their newest release to make a cute and girly, prima ballerina birthday card.

I had lots of fun coloring these ballerinas. I experimented with different skin tones and hair colors. I'll be doing some more research on different skin and hair color combinations because I could use some more variety.

I like when a stamp set comes with smaller designs. These are perfect to make your own background or add a fun little finishing touch to a card. In this case I used the flower to make a background. I colored them to match with the ballerinas. I really love how that turned out.

To fill up the center dot of the flowers I used Nuvo Drops from Tonic. I used Carnation Pink, Caribbean Ocean and Dandelion Yellow to match with the flowers and ballerinas. To add an extra pop of glitter I used Gold Dust glitter card stock from Tonic. It's the perfect dose of bling-bling. Finally I adhered a small strip of patterned paper and applied Tonic's Crystal Glaze.
