Squirrel Friends Card with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, I'm very happy to be back with the extra cute Squirrel Friends, all gathered to pick acorns and have fun in the woods.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Squirrel Friends Autumn Themed Friendship Card by Marine Simon (featuring Rounded Rectangle Dies, Rounded Rectangle Mat Dies, Little Birdie)

I started off by stamping the images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, as always I used the matching dies to cut them all, and colored everything using my Ohuhu markers and my Graph'it brush markers. Here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used: • Squirrel Friends - squirrels, acorns, stump • Little Birdie - branches • Silly Sloths - leaves • Bunnyville - grass.

When the coloring was done, I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, and next I moved on to the background. I cut a rounded panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock using the largest Rounded Rectangle Mat die, and created a bright background using stencils from my stash along with distress inks: a grass border using peeled paint distress ink, and a cloudy sky using scattered straw and fossilized amber distress ink.

Next I used the largest Rounded Rectangle Mat die again to cut a Gingham Jewel Tones brown panel, and used the second largest Rounded Rectangle Window die to turn my brown gingham panel into a rounded frame. I attached that frame to my cloudy panel using 1mm foam squares, stamped "You're a little nutty & I love it!" from Squirrel Friends, and then attached all the images using 1mm and 2mm foam squares. Finally I stuck my rounded scene to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches dark brown panel, and then to a brown card base.

And that's it! I hope that you like this lovely and warm autumn card. Thank you so much for stopping by, and see you next week!

Foxy Friends Card with Tina

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here and today we are creating a sweet Autumn card with the adorable Foxy Friends stamp and die set. There are many cute images in this set so it was hard to select just three of them.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Foxy Friends & Pretty Pumpkins Autumn Themed Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Limitless Labels Dies, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Rounded Retangle Mat Dies)

Although I wanted to reflect that fall vibe, I still kept the card light by using a large white panel. This piece was dry embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder which is perfect for these autumnal cards. I love layering shapes to create dimension so next, I cut the wood panel with the largest die in the Limitless Labels 1 set and splattered it with yellow and brown inks.

Then I browsed in my stash of pattern papers and I chose a fun polka dot sheet (Critter Country) which I ran through the die cut machine with the largest of the Rounded Rectangle Mat dies. I glued both pieces together and added them to a slightly smaller white card base. I colored the cute foxes (Foxy Friends stamp) with my Copics and added white highlights with a gel pen.

Then it was time to stamp three pumpkins using the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set. I went with sizes that would work well together and used several Distress Oxide inks in yellow, brown, orange and teal colors.

Before assembling the scene, I stamped the sentiment from the Autumn Greetings set with a teal ink from my stash. This font was the perfect fit for my scene! I used a mix of foam tape and liquid glue to adhere the images to my card panel. Lastly, I added a few Champagne Clear Jewels since I had already brought so much color into this design.

And that finishes my card, I hope you are having fun creating your Autumn projects! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!

Too Cute To Spook Card with Amanda

Hello, friends! This is Amanda here with you on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today with a non-traditional colored Halloween card!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Too Cute To Spook Halloween Card by Amanda Fitterer (featuring Eyelet Lace Border Dies, Scalloped Oval Mat Dies)

The base of this card is made using the Sweater Weather 6x6 Paper. I trimmed the pink plaid piece down to 4.25”x5.5” and glued it to the inside of an A2 card base. For the front flap of the card base, I trimmed off a little less than 5/8” off.

I trimmed the other piece of pink paper to 4 1/4” x 3 5/8”. Before gluing it to the card base, I die cut one of the lace borders from the Eyelet Lace Border Dies. I glued the lace border to the edge of the front flap first and then glued the pink panel on top of it. Next, I die cut the smallest of the Scalloped Oval Mat 3 Dies.

For my images and sentiment, I grabbed the Too Cute to Spook Stamps. I stamped the 3 pumpkins, ghost critter, haunted house and sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock. I stamped the spooky trees directly onto the oval scalloped mat piece.

I colored in my images with Copic markers. Then, I die cut them out with the coordinating dies. For the sentiment, I trimmed it into a rectangle and then used scissors to create a banner edge.

I put 3D foam strips behind the scalloped oval and added it to the card base. Then, I added 3D foam squares behind the images and sentiment. Some of the images (like the darkest pumpkin) has 2 layers of foam squares so it sits up higher.

What a cute pink Halloween card, right? I hope this card inspires you to create something unique and fun! Have a great rest of your day!

Home Sweet Gnome & Fall Kiddos Cards with Mendi

Hello and welcome! This is Mendi here today, popping in to share some fall scene cards featuring our Fall Kiddos Stamps and Home Sweet Gnome Stamps.

Sunny Studio Autumn Scene Cards using Home Sweet Gnome, Fall Kiddos, & Happy Harvest Clear Stamps & Metal Cutting Craft Dies

My first card showcases the adorable gnomes from the retiring Home Sweet Gnome Stamps. Sadly, we only have a limited supply left of these cuties. I paired them today with the pumpkins from the Happy Harvest Stamps and the background from the Majestic Meadow Stamps, covering the tulips in the foreground with a handmade hillside. I made my hill match the other hills by tracing the edge with a fine-tip Sharpie over scratch paper. I then inked it up to match and added the tufts of grass using the images from the Tulip Path Background Stamps. It was fun creating a fall scene with the Majestic Meadow set.

For my second card today I focused on the cute kids all bundled up for autumn using the Fall Kiddos Stamps. Most of the images in this set can also work well for winter cards, so I've always thought this set is pretty versatile. I rounded out my little scene with the two pumpkins, tree, and tree stump from the Happy Harvest Stamps. I added a stitched and scalloped edge to the bottom of my white cardstock panel using the Slimline Basic Border Dies and a cute brown heart argyle print along the bottom from the Sweater Weather Paper pack. I adore this pattern and selected it before I colored my kids so that I could color their clothes to match.

Also, please check out all the card ideas using these sets on each of their product pages. I always make sure to upload tons of card ideas following the product image, so there are lots of ideas to scroll through, organized by set.

That wraps up my projects for today. Thanks so much for hanging out with me. I hope I've inspired you to spread a little happiness by sending out a card to someone you love. ðŸ’›
