Penguin Party Cards with Waleska and Marine

Hello there, Waleska here with you. I have a fun penguin card to share with you today using the Penguin Party Stamps. For my card today I used a some of my favorite oxide ink colors.

To create this card I started with the background I inked a piece of white cardstock with oxide inks in colors Shaded Lilac, Kitsch Flamingo and Salvaged Patina, I then cut a snow hill from white cardstock. I stamped and color the cute penguins (it was hard to choose from all the adorable penguins on this set).

I stamped some snowflakes with versamark ink and added white embossing powder, I cut and inked them with the same colors I used for the background and used foam tape to add them to the sky. I added some iridescent stars and the sentiment fun and festive at the bottom of this panel.

I adhered this panel to a lilac frame and then a white card base, I love the fun faces of this penguins, they are definitely enjoying the cold weather. Thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful rest of your day!

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, I'm back this week with this super cute and fun interactive card showcasing Penguin Party. Today we're going all non-traditional again with a pink sky, a violet Christmas tree and a penguin snow surfing on his belly!

And to make this fun little scene, I picked:
- the tree from Cozy Christmas
- the snowflakes from Snowman Kisses
- one more penguin from Passionate Penguins
- the North pole sign from North Pole

I started off by cutting my background panel out of bristol cardstock, and I stenciled it using oxide inks: at the top I created a bright pink sky using spun sugar, kitsch flamingo and picked raspberry, and on the lower part, I created snow hills using salvaged patina.

I stamped my images using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, cut them all using the coordinating dies and then colored everything using my alcohol markers. Next I created the interactive panel, and I invite you to watch the process video down below to see how it was made, it's always easier to understand with images.

Once my interactive panel was done, I attached it on a Dots & Stripes Pastels purple panel, and then that purple panel on a white panel. And next I attached all my cute images on the interactive panel using foam squares and liquid glue.

Next I added the final details: an arrow to let the recipient of the card know that they have to go back and forth with the wheel to make the penguin surf. I also white heat embossed my "Hope your holiday is fun & festive" greeting from Penguin Party on a pink banner that I attached at the bottom of the panel using foam squares, and finally I added a dot of glossy accents on each light in the Christmas tree.

Cozy Christmas Cards with Marie and Alma

Hello Crafty Friends, Marie here. So happy to be back on the blog! Today I am sharing a simple Holiday card featuring the super cute Cozy Christmas stamps. Together with the super adorable Penguin Party stamps, with its super adorable penguins, I created a vintage inspired cozy Christmas scene. 

To create this card, I started by stamping out all my images using  Antique Linen Distress Ink onto watercolor paper. I color all my images using Faber-Castell Watercolor Pencils. I then cut out all my images using the Cozy Christmas dies as well as the Penguin Party dies. After cutting all my images, I set it aside to create my super easy background using only pattern paper. First, I die cut my A2 Size Base panel from 110 lb heavy weight cardstock. I always use Neenah Solar White for all my card bases. Using the same A2 size rectangle die, I cut 2 different sheets of vintage paper. 

To create the look of a living room wall, I took the paper with minty vertical stripes and adhered the whole A2 sheet to my base. I then took the paper that would become the floor, and cut it and then adhered that to the bottom portion. To create the base board, I just cut a strip of white cardstock the length of my panel and glued it on top of the floor paper where it meets the minty stripped wall. 

Once I was finished playing around with the placement of my images, I glued everything down using a combination of double sided tape adhesive, Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue, and foam tape which I added to the sofa for dimension. I then placed my sentiment from Cozy Christmas on the inside of my card. For my last finishing touch, I used some gold Stickles Glitter Glue to embellish my pink Christmas tree. I love pink and gold together! 

I absolutely love how this card came together! So simple and cute! I hope we are all on top of our card crafting game as the holidays are really fast approaching now! Hi my friends. Alma here, and today I want to show you a super sweet Christmas card with the Cozy Christmas Stamps. I cut a rectangle card and die-cut a lot of snowflakes  from the Snowflake Circle Frame Dies. I stamped the trees from the Santa Clause Lane Stamps with brown ink.

Then I glued the Snowflakes on the background and added a lot of snowflake highlights with a white gel pen. Now I die-cut the Fluffy Clouds Border Dies and I used the "clouds" as snow.

 After that I colored the images from the sweet Cozy Christmas Stamps with Copics and die-cut the images with the Cozy Christmas Dies and I glued all together. Finally I stamped the three sentiments from the Cozy Christmas Stamps. Happy Winter!

Snowman Kisses & Snow One Like You Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks! Kavya on the blog here with another fun card inspired by a movie that you might have watched once or twice (if you have kids!) - Frozen! This adorable Snowman Kisses stamp set reminded me of Olaf and I just had to figure out a way to create a Frozen themed card!

I started off by stamping and coloring a bunch of images from Snowman Kisses, Enchanted Stamps and Country Scenes Stamps. I then ink blended a soy using blue and purple dye inks. 

Adhered the images and added a heat embossed sentiment to finish off my card!

Hello everyone! Isha here with a card featuring the Snow One Like You stamps and dies. This is one of the cutest stamps in my collection :)

I decided to frame this by stamping the pine leaves from the Classy Christmas stamp set all around the mat layer. Sponge slightly all around. Flick white paint to it. Stamp the image, colour using copic markers and die-cut using coordinating dies.

Stamp the sentiment from the Holiday Greetings stamp set and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Die-cut the frame from the Snowflake Circle Frame die. Adhere to the layer. Adhere the sentiment and the images using 3D foam.

Joyful Holiday Paper Focused Cards with Cathy and Bobbi

Hey friends! Cathy here today with a card featuring some of my favorite papers from the Joyful Holiday Paper. I just love the beautiful bold poinsettia prints in this paper pack and the colors are so fun and fresh for the Holidays!

To start, I cut the pink poinsettia paper 3” x 5 1/2", centered a Stitched Semi-Circle Die along the bottom 5 1/2" edge and die-cut the paper. I adhered this piece to the top of an A2 card base. I die-cut the gray snowflake paper using the same die. Before I adhered it to the card front, I die-cut a tree from the Rustic Winter Dies from white and dark gray cardstock and adhered the tree to the left side trimming the excess along the top edge of the semi-circle.

Next, I cut the pink polka dot paper 1” x 5 1/2" and adhered it to the bottom of the card front. To create the double scalloped edges, I cut a piece of white glitter cardstock and dark brown cardstock 1 “ x 5 1/2" and die-cut the bottom edge of each piece using the Icing Border Dies. I overlapped the pieces and adhered them across the bottom of the semi-circle. For extra interest, I cut a piece of gray cardstock 5/8” x 5 1/2" and die-cut along the center of the strip using an Frilly Frame Eyelet Lace Die. I adhered this across the top edge of the glitter cardstock. I love that little bit of extra detail.

I stamped the cute reindeer from the Reindeer Games Stamps on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb solar white cardstock, colored it with Copics and die-cut it using the coordinating dies. The large poinsettia from the Classy Christmas Stamps goes beautifully with the poinsettia paper and I decided to fussy cut the image and pop it up with foam tape to really make it stand out.

To finish, I die-cut the gray/white plaid paper using the tag die from the Stitched Semi-Circle Dies, heat embossed the sentiment and added a Pure White Jewel over the hole in the tag.

Hello crafty friends. It’s Bobbi here and I’m sharing a few peppermints and shiny candies on this cute gingerbread house covered in fun holiday papers. I’m using the Gingerbread House dies with the new Joyful Holiday pattern paper pack and the cute penguins from the Penguin Party stamp set and dies. Inside, I also used one of the sentiments from the Holiday Greetings stamps and dies.

To make this gingerbread house, I cut the elements from the vibrant and coordinating paper from the Joyful Holiday Paper pack and Neenah 80lb. Classic Crest Solar White cardstock for the white elements. I also used a blue-violet color cardstock for the window insets and green and pink for the peppermints, too.  To make the white card base, I scored an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of white cardstock and placed the largest house die on top of the folded cardstock, ensuring the top cutting line (i.e., the rooftop line) was above the folded edge. This keeps the fold line intact and creates a scored card base.

In addition to adding the many cute accent elements from the gingerbread die set, I also applied Pearl Pen (similar to Nuvo Drops) to add red, glossy candies around the roof line and on the bottom. Next, I stamped and colored a cute penguin using the Penguin Party stamp set and dies. I colored the penguin using Copic Sketch markers in 100, C7, C5, C3, C1, YR68, YR09, RV09, RV55 and YG03. I added a garland of red candies between the penguin’s hands, too. I used a white gel pen to add extra “fluff” to the penguin’s Santa hat.

Inside the card, I added an outline of the pink confetti paper (cut out using the two different sizes of house outlines in the die set), two more penguins and a script phrase using the Holiday Greetings stamps and dies. I used blue ink for the script. Using my Copic markers, I added tiny confetti dots of color around the sentiment and penguins to match the pink pattern paper. I kept them tiny so that they would not bleed through the white paper. I used the following Copic Sketch markers to color the penguins: 100, C7, C5, C3, C1, YR68, YR09, RV09, RV55, RV02, R29, and YG03.
