Meow & Furever Cards and Video Tutorial with Franci and Julia

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's Franci here with you today, with a cute card showcasing the new Meow & Furever set. Oh these images are soo adorable, I love all these cats and hearts!!

First of all I created my card base out of white cardstock and I covered the front with this lovely red patterned paper from the Surprise Party 6x6 paper set, then I die cut my main panel out of white cardstock using the Frilly Frame Stripes Dies set and I also cut out a circle window out of it using the new Stitched Circle Small dies set.

I stamped, colored with my Copics and die cut all the images and I stamped my sentiment just below the circle window. I used this pretty pink patterned paper from the Striped Silly 6x6 paper set as my window background and I glued my panel on the front of my card. I added my images with foam adhesive and this card is ready to be sent on Valentine's Day!

I actually made this for my grandpa, so he can give it to my grandma, how cute! Hope you are now inspired to create and have a lovely day!

Hello crafty friends! I hope you are having a good week so far! It’s Julia here with a mini trifold card featuring the totally adorable Meow & Furever stamp set! Those kitties are just the cutest and I had so much fun creating two little scenes!

When I saw this set I had the idea that the adorable cat with the bouquet of hearts picks up his lady friend for a fun picnic Valentine’s Day date! So I used the Sweet Treat House Add-On, sized the whole card to match it and of course used lots of pinks and reds to go along with the occasion! 

I also used the new Balloon Rides and Country Scenes to create my inside scene and for the flowers on the front I used the Chickie Baby stamp set.

Inks used: Spun Sugar Distress Ink, Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. Copic Markers Used: Y000, Y00, Y11, Y13, Y15; G000, G00, G02, G17, G28; E43, E44, E47; R81, R83, R85, R89; BG0000; C00, C0, C1, C3, C5, C7.

Lovable Llama Cards with Isha and Kavya

Hello everyone! Isha here with you and today I am sharing another CAS one layer card with mirror stamping technique. I love mirror stamping as it gives us more out of our products. I am featuring the Lovable Llama stamp and dies.

To start, I masked my card base using post-it to create a stripe of color. I used distress oxide and sponged it using blending brushes. I then flicked some water and also a bit of ink mixed with water to this area. Let it dry and remove the mask.

Next, I stamped the sentiment using the Inside Greetings-Birthday stamp set onto the speech bubble from Comic Strip Speech Bubbles dies. I then die-cut two more bubbles, one in black and one in yellow. Adhere behind the white bubble, keeping them slightly offset.

Next stamp the bows, prizes and hats from the Lovable Llama stamp set onto Copic friendly paper and color them. Die-cut the images using the coordinating dies. Stamp the Llama, color and die-cut. To create the mirror image, take a bigger clear stamp with a lot of solid image or any rectangle stamp. Adhere this bigger image onto an acrylic block upside down. Keep the cardstock ready. Ink the Llama image and stamp it onto this upside down bigger stamp. Use this as a stamp and quickly stamp onto the cardstock. You will get a beautiful mirror image. If you miss an area then go over it with the Copic multiliner. Color and fussy cut.

Hi folks, Kavya here. Aren’t llama’s just adorable? The new Lovable llama stamp set truly captures its cuteness and comes with a bunch of equally adorable sentiments perfect for any occasion!

Here is a card I made for a special friend by combining various old stamp sets and dies. I first matted a wood grain pattern paper from Subtle Grey Tones on brown card stock. I then ink blended the bottom half of a Stitched Semi-Circle die cut using shades of light pink and peach dye ink. I then splattered some white ink to add texture. I stamped and colored stamped images from Lovable llama, Country Scenes and Little Buckaroo sets using Copic markers and colored pencils.

The cowgirl from Little Buckaroo stamp set is perfect for recreating a Peruvian young girl to accompany the adorable llama. I added shadows and highlights using a white gel pen. Finally, I stamped the sentiments from My Otter Half and Lovable llama set using black ink.

Feeling Froggy Cards with Ashley and Mayra

Hi friends! It's Ashley with a super cute pond scene today featuring the new Feeling Froggy mini set! I am so hoppy to share my card with you!

I started by creating a cloud stencil using the Slimline Nature Borders dies. I used my stencil to ink blend a cloudy sky with Pinkfresh Studio Summer Shower ink. I used another Slimline Nature Border with some green cardstock to create grass and adhered the two pieces together. I then ran them through my die cut machine with the frame from Frilly Frames Lattice to add the scalloped border.

I stamped the pond scene from Country Scenes onto Copic friendly paper with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and colored with Copics. I used the matching die to cut it out, then used the Frilly Frames Lattice die again to add the border. I added the pond scene to the other die cut pieces, then adhered the whole thing to an A2 sized piece of blue stripe paper from the Dots & Stripes Pastels paper pack. 

I stamped the frog and dragonfly from Feeling Froggy and several lily pads and cattails from Country Scenes in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and colored with Copics. I cut everything out with the matching dies and added them to my card, popping the frog and dragonflies up with foam tape for dimension. I finished with a sentiment from Feeling Froggy stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Hello everyone. Happy Monday!!  Mayra here with you today. I am sharing a card using the very cute new Feeling Froggy stamp set. I also used the lovely new Garden Fairy stamp set to create the scene for the little froggy. Along with the Dots & Stripes Pastels paper pad. 

I began by coloring all of the images I would be using from the sets using Copic markers. I also used the pretty images from the Country Scenes stamp set. I then used the largest stitched circle from the Stitched Circle Large dies set, the grass and hills borders from the Slimline Nature Borders dies set, and the stitched rectangle from the Frilly Frames Quatrefoil dies set.

Copics Used: Purple: B60, V20, BV11, V04, and V06; Green: YG01, YG25, YG17, and G29

I used Distress Oxide Inks to add colors to each of the layers. Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink to add color to the water areas. I used Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness for the grass areas. For the sky, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, and Wilted Violet.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Nicky Meeks

Hi everyone, Nicky Meeks here! I'm back to guesting for Sunny Studio Stamps today and I have two cards for you using their most recent release. I'm working with Balloon Rides and Country Scenes today.

To create this card I first softly ink blended a background panel and then used a little more ink diluted with a drop of water to loosely splatter the background.

Images from the super sweet Balloon Rides stamp set were stamped on to Copic friendly cardstock using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa. I used Copic markers to colour all of my images and a white gel pen to highlight certain points.

These images were then die cut using the coordinating dies and arranged into the scene on the background either directly adhering with glue or for some lovely dimension I used foam tape.

To finish up the card I took a strip of black cardstock and stamped the sentiment with Versamark Ink and heat embossed in white. This sentiment was also applied with foam tape further adding to the layered look.

Moving swiftly on to my second card today and here I am using the other cute critters from the Balloon Rides stamp set together with the clouds and I've combined them with the new Country Scenes stamp and die set.

To create this card I stamped the Country Scenes image on to a white A2 panel that was Copic friendly. I then stamped it again on some scrap paper and I fussy cut the top edge of that second stamping and created a mask which I lay over the original stamping and I held it down whilst I used a Clarity Stencil Brush to brush on some sup soft Distress Inks in pink and blue. The mask was then discarded and I used Copic markers to colour the mountains and trees and create shadows and crevices with some shading.

I used Versamark Ink to stamp the stars and the sentiment from Balloon Rides and I heat embossed in silver so this card catches the light beautifully when it is handled.

I die cut my panel to give the faux stitched edge and then I already had my critters and cloud stamped and coloured and die cut and so I just arranged them into the scene using dimensional foam tape. Cheeks and other points were highlighted with the white gel pen again and the panel attached to a card base.
