Hey crafty friends! It’s Yan
here, and today I’m bringing a splash of tropical sunshine to your screen. This
project is super easy and so much fun to make. Grab your favorite drink, and
let’s craft together!
To kick things off, I stamped
the beautiful birds and leafy foliage from the Tropical Birds Stamps onto Neenah Solar White
cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Next, I brought them to life using
Copic markers. Once you're done coloring, line up the coordinating Tropical Birds Dies to cut everything out flawlessly.
COPIC COLOR:
Birds: E35, R30, Y00, Y11, Y15, YR000, YR61, YR65
Leaves: E39, E43, G40, G14, G19, YG03, YG17, YG63
For the backdrop, I took a separate panel of white cardstock and gently ink-blended Distress Oxide Ink in Worn Lipstick from the center outwards. This creates a gorgeous, soft, warm glow that feels just like a tropical sunset.
To finish up, stamp the sentiment
directly onto the ink-blended panel. Now for the fun part—bringing it all
together! I popped the birds and leaves onto the card using foam tape. Adding
that little bit of dimension really makes the whole scene come alive.
And there you have it! A bright, cheerful card that’s guaranteed to put a smile on anyone's face. Happy crafting, everyone!
