Snow One Like You Cards with Ashley & Mayra

Hello friends! It's Ashley here for a super exciting week at Sunny Studio because once again Mendi has a special set just for Black Friday! This adorable set features a girl and her snowman friend and is a free gift with a $40+ purchase! How amazing is that?!

For my card using this set, I started by making a blue background filled with trees. I used light blue cardstock and blue Distress Oxides in Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, and Chipped Sapphire along with the Forest Trees stencil. I added some Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide along the edges, then cut the piece out with the Frilly Frames - Quatrefoil die to add the stitched edge.

I stamped the image from Snow One Like You on Bristol Smooth cardstock and colored with my Zig Clean Color markers. I added the image to my card with a bit of foam tape for dimension. For my sentiment, I grabbed a favorite from the Feeling Frosty set that I stamped in VersaMark ink and embossed with white. To finish, I used a white gel pen to add the snow, making sure to add dots to my colored image as well so it looks like the friends are out in the snowfall.

Happy Monday everyone!! Mayra here to share this card with you today using the super adorable Snow One Like You stamp set. This is such a sweet set. 

I began by coloring the image using Copic markers. I used BG10, B60, BV01, G00, and C0 for the snowman. For the green, I used G40, YG03, YG17, G94, G16, G05, and G02. For the tan color, I used E31, E34, E55, and E35. 

Next, I die cut the base panel for the card using the Stitched Rectangles set. The patterned paper is from the Gingham Jewel Tones 6 x 6 paper pad. I then die-cut the scalloped oval using kraft colored cardstock using the Scalloped Oval Mat 1 dies set, and to create the frame I used the Stitched Oval die set. I then die-cut the background for the oval frame using the lovely Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace die set. I also cut a snowy layer using the Slimline Nature Borders dies set.
