Happy Hamster Cards with Kay and Candice

Hi there! Kay here and I have a fun card to share with you today using the super cute Happy Hamsters stamp set and the coordinating dies. I also used the Stitched Rectangle dies and some patterned paper from the Holiday Cheer 6x6 Cardstock pad.

First off, I created a background for the cute little hamsters by blending some distress ink onto white cardstock. I used Mowed Lawn for the grass and Tumbled Glass for the sky. I then speckled some darker blue Peacock Feathers ink mixed with water over all of it. I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Hamsters stamp set along the bottom and then cut this panel out with the medium Stitched Rectangle dies. I then cut out a panel of patterned paper from the Holiday Cheer paper pack just one size larger using the largest of the Stitched Rectangle dies. I then layered both of these onto my white card base.

Next I colored the cute little hamsters and wheel with Copic markers and cut them out with the Happy Hamsters coordinating dies. I added these to my card using foam tape.

I used these Sunny Studio products to create my slimline design:

• Happy Hamsters stamps & coordinating dies
• Slimline Pennants dies
• Staggered Circle die
• Frilly Frames Herringbone dies

I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base. For the background, I first created the stitched panel using the Slimline Pennant dies using the partial die cut method (run partway through your machine, rotate and line up, and run partway through again!) I then die cut the Herringbone using this same partial die cut method to create my stencil, inking my panel with tea dye, and then die cutting the staggered stitched circles. I finished the background by gluing a piece of Kraft cardstock that was splattered with white paint and adhered the panel over it with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the hamsters, wheel, and peanuts, colored them with Copic markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I added a few white accents with a pen and then put them in the circles with foam tape. I stamped my sentiment on a white banner adding it with foam tape and glued a few die cut hearts from red velvet cardstock!

Chloe Alphabet Focused Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hello everyone, Anja here with another inspiration project. Alphabet dies are great to create custom sentiments or to personalize your projects. I love the pretty and versatile font of the Chloe Alphabet Dies which I combined with the Just Bee-cause mini stamp set.

I started off with a white top-folding A2 card base and trimmed down a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock to be slightly smaller. I did some fun Ink Smooshing with Distress Oxide Inks (Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed and Dried Marigold) to create my background.

Next, I die cut the Frilly Frames Hexagon Die from vellum. I cut it apart and carefully adhered it over the ink smooshed background. I stamped three bees and the tiny heart in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images.

I spelled out the word 'bee' by die cutting the letters once from black glitter cardstock and twice from regular black cardstock. I stacked them on top of each other for more sturdiness and dimension. The word 'happy' from the Captivating Camellias set was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock stripe and I heat embossed it in white.

To finish off my card, I adhered the bees with foam tape and added Crystal Stickles to their wings and the little heart.

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a personalized card using the wonderful Chloe Alphabet Dies. I love these dies, the font is just so cute!

My dear colleague is leaving and will start working in a new department. This is the card I made for her wishing her "good luck", "fun", "success", "all the best". The dies are perfect to create the matching German expressions!

For today's card, I used the following Sunny Studios sets:

Fabulous Flamingos stamps + dies

I first die-cut all the letters I needed and measured the length of the words to determine the size of the little panels. Then I trimmed the various colored papers and adhered them to the card base. Now I colored the white letters with matching Copic markers and adhered these to the panels. Finally, I stamped the images, colored them with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered everything to the card with foam tape.

Stitched Rectangle Focused Cards with Julia and Franci

Hello crafty friends! It’s Julia here with a hoppy little card!

First, I stamped all my images from Feeling Froggy, Spring Scenes, Country Scenes, Garden Fairy, and Home Sweet Gnome onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and I colored them in using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I used the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut out three white panels. One panel I used for the background and the others to cut the scenery elements out of so that I would have the lovely stitching going all the way around my card! For the treetops, I used the cloud border from the Slimline Nature Borders. I also die-cut two hills and a grassy hill using the same die set! I ink blended all the pieces using Distress Oxide inks. I heat embossed the sentiment from Feeling Froggy and Candy Shoppe onto the pond piece in white.

Inks used: Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Salvaged Patina, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover, Pine Needles Distress Oxides. 

Zig Markers used: 999; 21; 41, 48, 33; 64, 65.

I adhered my background panel to a white card base and made sure to leave a nice white border.  Then, I added the scenery die-cuts with liquid glue and foam squares. Finally, I added all my cute little images!

Hello there! It's Franci here with you, with a couple of happy cards.

First of all I die cut all my panels out of white cardstock and patterned paper from the Spring Fling set using the new Stitched Rectangles Dies.

Then I stamped, colored with Copics and die cut all my images from the Outback Critters set and added some details with a white gel pen.

I created some card bases out of white cardstock and covered the front with my patterned paper panels. Then I stamped my sentiments onto the white ones and inked them just a bit in the center with Distress Ink.

I glued down all my images and the panels with foam adhesive and added some little hearts from the Happy Hamster set too. 

I love making mini cards and these turned out so super cute! Hope you like them as much as I do and thanks a lot for stopping by!
