Before you run off to shop, I have two more fun mini stamp sets to share: Miss Moo and Make A Wish, along with a versatile new 3x4 Sentiment stamp set called Over The Rainbow and a coordinating Rainbow Word die.
Card No. 1: Up first I have a card featuring the darling little Miss Moo stamp which is a compliment to the cow from our Barnyard Buddies stamps. You could use the image to create a fun spinner since aside from the eyelashes and daisy they are nearly identical, but I chose to pair her with the other cow to form a herd. This set comes with three new punny sentiments that are so much fun! I finished off my card with a little die-cut stitched heart from our Warm & Cozy dies.
Card No. 2: For my next Miss Moo card I once again paired her with the cow from our Barnyard Buddies, but this time I have them peeking out from some windows created with our Window Trio Square dies. For my background I used a piece of red gingham paper from our Classic Gingham Paper pack and cut the stitched zig-zag edge of my kraft paper using our Ric Rac Border dies. For my sentiment, I created a custom greeting pefect for Valentine's Day using our Loopy Letters dies.
Card No. 3: My next card features our new Make A Wish stamps which includes a cake, a slice of cake, the "make a wish" sentiment and a happy face to personalize the cake with. I paired it with three balloons colored to match from our Birthday Smiles Stamps and two prints from our Spring Sunburst Paper pack.
Card No. 4: I can't help but smile back at the cakes when the little happy face is added to them for these colorful birthday themed gift tags using our Build-A-Tag #1 dies and Spring Sunburst Paper pack. These are the perfect thing to have on hand to add to the top of a kid's birthday present when headed out the door! I finished them with a birthday sentiment from our Happy Thoughts stamps (together with the word "happy" borrowed from our Party Pups stamps which I cut apart to make it more functional).
To create the look of glowing candles, I used a little finger dauber to sponge on some mustard seed distress ink just below where my candles would go before adhering my cake to the tag.
Card No. 5: Switching gears, for my next card, I wanted to showcase one of the many fun sentiments from our new Over The Rainbow stamps. For this rainbow girl I am ecstatic to have so many fun colorful phrases to use on my future cards!
I started by stamping my clouds, rainbow & heart raindrops using our Rain or Shine stamps, which I colored to match the checked paper from our new Spring Sunburst Paper pack using Copic Markers. I then mounted them on an arched panel of white cardstock which I cut out using our Sunny Semi Circle dies, rounding the corners with my We R Memory Keepers corner chomper and sewing around the edge with my sewing machine. I used those same Copic markers to blend a rainbow background onto a piece of scratch cardstock so that my Rainbow Word die would match.
For my sentiment, I stamped and heat embossed it with white powder onto a pennant created with our Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies. This die only has the "v" on one end so to create it on the opposite side, I made sure to have the flat end of the die hanging off my cutting plate before making my first cut. I then turned it around and used the stitching to find a groove where the die felt like it locked into place and repeated the same step for the opposite side. When I was done, I mounted all the pieces onto a piece of coordinating grid paper from our Gingham Pastels Paper pack.
Card No. 6: For my next card featuring the Over The Rainbow stamps, I once again turned out our Rain or Shine stamps, this time repeatedly stamping the umbrella from the set onto paper from our Dots & Stripes Pastels Paper pack. I fussy cut them all out which was super quick since I was able to hide the bottom half of the umbrella with the way I stacked them. I mounted them onto a piece of sun ray paper from our Spring Sunburst Paper pack and them framed them with our Frilly Frames Polka-Dot dies.
For my sentiment I coated a small piece of white cardstock with some VersaMark ink, pressing my paper directly against the pad. I then sprinkled on some iridescent glittery embossing powder and heat it up to create my own custom glitter cardstock which I used to cut my Rainbow Word from (it is difficult see in the photo, but it's very pretty in person). To give it the look of thickers, I then cut a second rainbow word from white craft foam and used some liquid adhesive to stack the two together. I love the results!
Card No. 7: My last Over The Rainbow card of the day uses some very cool Rainbow Foil and Deco Foil PeelnStick Toner Sheets by Therm-o-web. I started by adhering the foil to the toner sheets using my laminating tool. I then die-cut my hearts using a combination of the stitched hearts from our Warm & Cozy dies, Window Trio Circle dies and Fancy Frames Circle Dies, popping up a couple of them using the Deco Foil White Foam Adhesive. I am addicted to my scotch foam tape so I was super excited to discover a foam adhesive that can be die-cut to match my cutouts!
For my bottom scalloped edge, I used the long side of our Frilly Frames Lattice dies to cut a border. Love getting extra life out of my supplies like that!
