Breakfast Puns Toast To The Happy Couple Card with Nancy

Hey there Sunny fans, Nancy here today with a look at the new Breakfast Puns stamp set. Who doesn't love a cute and simple pun card?

Sunny Studio Stamps: Breakfast Puns Toast To The Happy Couple Card by Nancy Damiano

To create the this card, start with the Fancy Frames Circles dies and a background wash of Distress Oxide Ink in Salty Ocean. Next, color the toast and cup image with Copic markers. I used a Pigma Micron marker to add a scallop shape to the coffee cup dish.

The coffee cup and toast were then popped up with foam tape and placed at the bottom center of the scalloped circle frame. Three red hearts were stamped, colored with Copic markers and filled with liquid epoxy for some texture. A sentiment was stamped with black ink just under the circle frame.

This is a very clean and simple card with a pop of color and cute pun. Take a look at the Breakfast Puns stamp set for your next round of heartwarming greetings.

Born to Sparkle Spotlight Ballerina Card and Video with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I'll be using the Born to Sparkle stamp set along with the new Tiny Dancers stamp set and Sparkle Word dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Born to Sparkle Tiny Dancers Spotlight Ballerina Card and Video by Eloise Blue

To begin I first started off with a piece of watercolour cardstock and used a piece of masking tape, cut it to a hill shape and used the negative piece to mask off the top half of the card. I then used Pumice Stone Distress Ink to lightly blend over the bottom half of the cardstock.

Next, I lifted the mask, replaced it with the positive piece of the mask, then used two more pieces to create a sort of upside down cone shape, going smaller from the top of the paper to wider at the bottom. This is going to create my spotlight. I used Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed to ink blend that on there. I then used the stamps from Born to Sparkle and stamped all the little shine images and stars with Mustard Seed Distress Ink over the spotlight too.

Next, I coloured up my images from Tiny Dancers using some Copic Markers and die cut them out using the coordinating dies. I adhered them down to the centre of my spotlight using foam tape and flat adhesive. Next, I die cut the Sparkle Word die cut out of some teal/aqua cardstock that I created a gradient on using some Lucky Clover Distress Ink. Once that was die cut out I added foam tape along the back. I stamped the 'You Were Born To' sentiment from the Born to Sparkle stamp set with black ink on the bottom of the panel and then adhered the Sparkle Word underneath. To finish off the card I adhered the panel to an ombre piece of patterned paper and then onto a card base.

The video I created for this card is linked down below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you're enjoying all the inspiration using the new release!

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Francine Vuilleme

Hi everyone! Francine Vuillème from 1001 CARTES here! I’m so happy to guest for Sunny Studio Stamps again this year! Many thanks to Mendi for inviting me. Today, I have two cards for you featuring the newest Spring collection. Here is what I came up with:

Sunny Studio Stamps: Born To Sparkle and Team Player Cards by Francine Vuilleme

For the first card, I chose to showcase the newest Sparkle word die and the Born To Sparkle stamp set. They can be combined with cute images but also used as stand-alone sentiments on a simple background. They are so versatile! I went for a colorful galaxy background using rainbow colors (as very often lol). I used watercolor paper and Winsor & Newton watercolors. Once it was dry, I splattered white ink over the panel to create the stars. I heat embossed the bigger stars with white embossing powder using the sparkly element stamps from the set. I adhered the panel to a top-folded card base created with black cardstock. I die cut the "sparkle" word and heat embossed it using golden embossing powder and fixed it to the card front using foam pads. I stamped the sentiment from the Born To Sparkle set to white cardstock, cut it and fixed it to the panel with foam pads too.

For the second card, I used the Team Player stamp set. I think that this set is AMAZING. I don’t have many sets featuring sports stamps so this is a must-have for me! I wanted to feature the beautiful cup image. I went for a clean and simple design. I created a background using a sunburst stencil. I sponged it with black Distress ink and added tiny black and white dots to create a sparkle effect. I stamped, colored and cut the cup. I adhered the image to the stenciled background and added a stamped sentiment from the set.

That’s all for me! I hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks so much for stopping by and happy crafting!

Bold Balloons Framed Birthday Celebration Card with Lexa

Hi everybody! How is your day? Lexa here with a card featuring the Bold Balloons stamp set and it's coordinating dies. This layering stamps from Sunny Studio has become so popular among crafters. Have you tried it yourself? Because I'm in looove with this technique. It's super easy and saves a lot of time, plus they turn out so gorgeous.

I started my card with a piece of 4.25"x4.25" because I wanted to use the brand new Fancy Frames Square Dies for this card. The balloons are hand stamped with some dye inks in blue, green and purple. First I stamped the blue one, and then I masked the balloon each time as I stamped the other ones. I choose the cooler color tone for this card, that's why I also used some grey for the frame, balloon's strings and the sparkles behind the balloons. They come from  Born To Sparkle stamp set, what a cool effect for background!

Some confetti are also stamped with the same darker dye inks as the balloons add more festive feel to this card. Last but not least, I stamp the sentiment on top of the card and finished it with the grey fancy frame adhered with foam tapes.

Thank you so much for visiting the blog today. I hope you enjoy today's post and get inspired. Have a wonderful day to you and your loved ones!

Tiny Dancers Pretty Purple Happy Birthday Ballerina Card with Vanessa

Hello everyone! Vanessa here with a card using Tiny Dancers. I was so glad when I got this adorable set, having a little ballerina at home! Here comes my first card playing with this set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Tiny Dancers Pretty Purple Happy Birthday Ballerina Card by Vanessa Menhorn

I first inked the middle portion of my card front with purple ink and added ink splatters. Now I die-cut my circle frame using the Fancy Frames Circle dies and adhered it with foam tape. I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics, die-cut them with the coordinating dies and adhered them, using foam tape to pop up the dancer.

Then I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of purple cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it to the card. Finally, I added matching sequins.

I hope you like this dancer as much as I do! I know this cute set will be used often in our home! Thank you for stopping by!
