Sunny Studio Stamps: Playful Polar Bears Shaker Card Tutorial with Juliana Michaels

Happy Saturday and hello Sunny Studio Fans! It's Juliana with you today and I'm so happy to be guesting again here on the Sunny Studio blog. Today I'm sharing a Playful Polar Bear Christmas shaker card I created using some new stamps and dies from the Winter Release.

To create the snowy background for this card, begin with the Snow Flurries stamp. With the help of a stamp positioning tool, such as the MISTI, stamp the image with Versamark Embossing Ink 3 times across a piece of 4.25 x 5.5 inch white cardstock.  Slide the cardstock over 1.75 inches each time until the image is stamped across the paper. Sprinkle it with white embossing powder and heat set it using a heat gun.

Next, use an ink blending tool to apply Distress Oxide Ink in Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers over the stamped and heat embossed snowflakes. This will help the snowflakes show up and pop against the blue background.

Die cut 5 frames from white cardstock and glue them together to create the shaker box frame. Cut a piece of transparency to the same size and glue it on top of the box.

To add a snowy hill for the polar bear to sled on, die cut one from white cardstock and adhere it on the bottom of the stamped snowflakes background.

Die cut another frame from white cardstock. Then die cut another snowy hill, stamp the sentiment on it from the Festive Greetings stamp set and trim it to fit behind the die cut frame. Adhere these together and then adhere them on top of the shaker box.

Next, die cut and trim 5 more snowy hills to match the one you stamped the sentiment on, adhere them together inside the shaker box frame. By adding these inside the shaker box, it will keep the sequins from falling behind the hill in front. I chose to put the sentiment on the outside because with it being placed at the bottom, the sequins would have covered it up and made it difficult to read. You are now ready to fill the shaker box with your favorite sequins and beads. After you do this, adhere the snowflake background to the back side of the shaker box.

For the final touch stamp, color and die cut the polar bear and sled images from the Playful Polar Bears stamp and coordinating dies. Attach them to the hill on the front of the card and your shaker card is complete!

I hope you enjoyed learning how to create this polar bear Christmas shaker card and are inspired to start your Christmas card crafting using the new Sunny Studio Stamps Winter Release. Jolly Gingerbread Pink And Green Gingerbread Christmas Card with Lexa

Hello there! Lexa here today with a holiday card highlighting the cutest stamp set of all, Jolly Gingerbread stamp and the coordinating dies. I love this one to bits. I can't believe that Christmas is almost here so you'd better get started making some holiday cards for your special ones.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Jolly Gingerbread Pink And Green Gingerbread Couple Christmas Card by Lexa Levana

Pink and green lately have become my most favorite color combination, I used them on so many cards without I realized it. So maybe this color combination can be your inspiration beside the classic red and green for this holiday. I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to perfectly cut them all. I also add some detail for the ginger bread friends, the scarf, pearl necklace and also cute hair. I think they are absolutely adorable.

The smaller tree biscuit is come from last year holiday stamp set called Christmas Icons, which surprisingly match well with this stamp set, and help me to build the scene even more cuter. I stamped some small images on the pink background with pink dye ink to fill in the blank space and a little bit more balanced the whole card.

I mixed some of the sentiments on the set to create my own sentiment, which I'm not really sure what it means ... but I hope it makes sense. Lol. This super sweet scene will make anyone's day even brighter on Christmas day.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a blissful day!

Petite Poinsettias Classic Christmas Card with Vanessa

Hi everybody! Vanessa here today with a classic Christmas card using Petite Poinsettias.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Petite Poinsettias Classic Christmas Card by Vanessa Menhorn

I first stamped the sentiment, the tree branch from Holiday Style and the snowflakes from Bundled Up and heat-embossed everything with white embossing powder. After I had adhered the panel to the card, I stamped the poinsettia and the leaves onto white cardstock, die-cut the images with the matching dies and adhered them with foam tape. Finally, I added gold sequins.

Polar Playmates Winter Interactive Christmas Card with Francesca

Hello there! Franci here with you today with a new winter interactive card! I had so much fun with the new Polar Playmates stamp set! Here's what I created.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Polar Playmates Winter Interactive Christmas Card by Francesca Vignoli

I die cut a stitched rectangle and i created my background sponging some distress inks. I used dark shades at the top to avoid a night sky look and a super light shade at the bottom to create a quite calm ocean for my little iceberg and my critter to sit on.

Then I stamped my sentiment with red ink on a strip of white cardstock. I added the stitched details and then glued it down. But the WOW effect is.. inside the card! I couldn't resist, as I had so much fun creating this little surprise scene!

I stamped all my images with a Copic friendly black ink, i colored them with Copics and I die cut them with the coordinating dies. I also added a little Santa hat to my sea lion from the Jolly Gingerbread stamp set and of course the presents from the Playful Polar Bears stamp set. I created the pop up mechanism and I also die cut some stitched hills.

Then I sponged some distress inks to create the sky and the ocean as I did for the front of the card. I glued down all the elements and i drew the snow and some details with a white gel pen. Finally I stamped another sentiment and the little heart at the bottom with the same red ink used before to complete my card. I love this set so so much :)

Hope you like my project and thank you so much for stopping by today! See you next week and be sure to come by tomorrow for more inspiration from the other designers!

Christmas Home Subtlety Stamped Background Card with Nancy

Hey there everyone, Nancy here today with a holiday card sure to warm you heart! The Christmas Home stamp set embodies everything cozy and Christmas. I love that this set features a scene that is fun and easy to color. This one is perfect for sending holiday cheer to those near and far.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Christmas Home Subtlety Stamped Background Christmas Card by Nancy Damiano

I started the card by repeatedly stamping the smaller home image in light gray ink across the entire bottom half of the card. This sets a nice clean background and highlights the one house that stands bright and lit with holiday style! The home on the front was watercolored with Zig Clean Color markers, die cut with the coordinating dies, and layered with foam tape.

The simple sentiment was stamped with black ink and highlighted with a tiny snowman from the same stamp set. A few tiny sequins were placed just above his head mimicking snowballs in the air. A few dew drop gems were scattered through the card to give it a little texture.

Consider picking up the Christmas Home stamp and die set to create some holiday cheer to send across the miles!
